Definitely enjoy going to the night market in the car park on a Friday night after 5:30 I highly recommend it wonderful food friendly people a couple of games to play fresh fruit and vegetables lots of candy a barber lots of amazing treats you can get your nails done for $35 quality work there are so many nail technicians spread out it’s crazy take your children down for a cheap manicure when you get your nails done lots of candy floss and clothings toys secondhand goods available

Pakuranga Plaza was the first mall for the residents situated out east. It was quite popular for a number of decades until Botany Town Centre and Sylvia Park opened. The plaza is now a reminder of its glorious past. A number of shops on the inside have closed. Anchor tenants such as Farmers, Countdown and Warehouse are still operating well. Still has a variety of decent shops that easily service the locals. Its important to note that there are shops outside by the Warehouse such as a thrift shop, computer repair, library, ANZ, skin care shop and more. There are more outdoor shops that are located around the car park on the Countdown side. This is where you’ll find the banks, post shop, a few eateries, bakers delight, hair dresser and a few more. However, time and money is better spent at Botany Town Centre or Sylvia park both of which are a 10 min drive away.

It's that time of year! It was jam packed with people today. The decor was out, there were Santa's Helpers walking about blowing bubbles and giving stickers. The kids playpen was empties of the toys and replace with Christmas activities. The Santa workshop was operating to take photos with him and a wall dedicated to Christmas was up for all your Insta Selfie needs. The line for the two Balloon Stations we're packed too. Amazing vibe here.

Pakuranga Plaza, formerly known as Westfield Pakuranga is a shopping centre in Pakuranga, Auckland, More than 80 stores operating in the center, including the major stores Farmers, Countdown and The Warehouse, The Warehouse itself is external to the mall, but included in this center. History: Originally opened in 1965 as the Pakuranga Town Centre, the mall was one of the earliest malls in New Zealand, incorporating Farmers and George Court department stores. The mall itself has been transformed several times since it was first built and retains little of the 1960s style it once had. Originally it was open to air. Operations and rank: In a 2008 rating of New Zealand shopping centres by a retail expert group, Westfield Pakuranga received three out of four stars based on the criteria of amount of shopping area, economic performance, amenity and appeal as well as future growth prospects. It was noted to have received a relatively high rating even though struggling with major competition from Botany Town Centre and Sylvia Park. On December 10, 2012 the mall was sold to Ladstone Holdings Ltd and was renamed Pakuranga Plaza. The mall was resold in October 2014 to GYP Properties. As additional feature, busway and bus station also in the shopping center, as an intermediate stop on the Eastern Busway. This busway is connected with Botany Town Centre and Panmure railway station.

It is a very small mall, with not a lot of store choices, but the play zone area for kids is very good! It is in the food court area, just in the middle, with free fruit for kids and free wipes. And they held arts and crafts activities every Tuesday and some other kids events. Free wifi

Plenty of parking spaces as a good percentage of the actual plaza center's shops are closed. This allows easy parking close to the shop you are visiting for a quick in and out, plus of course for access to the perimeter outside to go any shops that are still open. Someone needs to get the rebuild plans underway so this once great community asset can be fully utilized once again.

Its nice cause its never over crowded. However its sad cos without the constant foot traffic stores are closing down. The carpack itself needs major upgrades its horrible. Love the night markets though! ☺

Got a ticket here. Do not recommend it for a few minutes before the your day starts and ends with the same number as you will see the same day that the new year has a different time and I have been looking at it all for now but now I'm not sure how much I can get it all done so well and that I can make a new car and have the time and space you would be willing for the only one to do with your money in a few minutes to make it happen if it doesn't happen in a few days

Ample parking, mobility parks are well spaced and easily accessible to footpath with a wheelchair. Ticket wardens often patrol the carpark so less offending with shoppers parking in mobility parks not displaying a mobility card.

Just stopped in as in the area. Mall is strangely set out. Lovely curio shop there, daughter brought a lovely leather recycled paper book, staff member was friendly and helpful. Muffin break staff friendly, offered butter which other muffin breaks don't, so one up for this muffin break.

Nice cosy little shopping mall with everything you really need, from groceries to clothes to household items. There's also a small food court which has a variety of options. Overall, a great shopping centre without the crowds and hustle bustle of larger ones.

Despite strong competition from other malls in the area, Pakuranga Plaza still has appeal as being very hand to pop into. The food court is pretty good, and even though there are parts of the mall that boarded up with no tenants, it's still provides a pleasant shopping experience. Good parking.

Seems some entitled like to park in disability parks without displaying their card. They rudly state they don't need one as they are exempt...one kind only...our indigenous lot. This prevents a genuine parker with a disability card from rightfully parking and they feel discriminated .

Although not as many shops I do local shopping here because of good parking, and is not as busy as other malls. Has The Warehouse, Countdown, Op shop and $2 shops that I use often and the food court is decent as well.

Just stopped in on The Warehouse, 8am and the parking lot was empty so that was pretty convenient. Was looking for emergency school sandals for my 6 year old, however as it was now March the Warehouse has stopped selling them as the wind down towards Winter. While I understand why, it was just a little frustrating to visit and not get what you want. Other than that I typically find everything I need, and the Countdown is convenient. I find the layout a bit to spread and convoluted, there are stores there that I couldn't tell you that they exist, and there is sometimes a but of a trek to get to another store.

I've always enjoyed shopping there as it's undercover and all the shops are close together unlike botany where it's easy to get wet or Sylvia park where it's a long hike from one end to the other. Hopefully the owners will come up with some plan to salvage the situation.

The Plaza is an older mall and you can tell. The store selection is very small and seems to cater more towards either families with young kids or the older generation. I think a lot of locals go to this mall purely either for the supermarket or the food court, very rarely for the shops. The Farmers is fairly large though. Definitely feels like a dying mall with the competitors like Botany and Slyvia Park close by

A large range of shops for your everyday needs including a few takeaways/food court. Every thursday there is a night market held here well worth a visit with a wide range of cultural foods. Plenty of parking for easy access.

Great place for a good buy, I especially love the Saturday night markets I've been there mainly for that, it's honestly awesome as. There's so much food and different kinds of food to suit everyones needs. I'm especially grateful for the halal food, honestly God bless the kebab shop that goes every week my favourite. Pakuranga plaza is quite beautiful, beautiful place beautiful people. I'd recommend a night out on Saturdays.

I went to the Library and it was a quick visit. found a parking easily, was helped by a friendly lady who sent me on my way in less than 5 min. Place was not very busy or crowded.

Mid sized mall, not fancy but actually very well equipped with a decent variety, good car parking. Big names include The Warehouse, Farmers and Countdown. For a completely different experience visit the night markets which are held in the underground carpark here and have an authentic multicultural vibe!

This is one of the older shopping malls in Auckland. The location is nice and has the countdown and farmers dept store which is a draw for me. Has a lot of other shops and a places where you can have a bite or coffee. Close to the plaza is the warehouse where they have a Saturday night market.

Great mall for getting things done without the chaos and calamity of Sylvia Park or Newmarket Westfield. It's old skool but it has enough shops (including a Farmer's) to be useful. Good for Christmas shopping without the crowds.

The Body Collection Male and Female cloths and shoe store with the latest fashions and very competitive prices. Situated adjacent to the entrance of Farmers. Stop, have a look and be delighted with what they have on offer today. Friendly service too!

After the circus of Sylvia Park, Pakuranga Plaza felt VERY genteel! Heaps of free outside-the-door car parking. Farmers inside and reasonably well stocked clothing-wise. Visited a few stores inside: Farmers, $-type shop, Life Pharmacy, plus Lotto (didn't win!). A great place to support local businesses trying to make it with Sylvia Park snapping at their heels.

Nice little plaza if you dont want the hustle busyle of the bigger malls. Countdown, Vodafone, Farmers, foodcourt, with many clothes and novelty stores acroo from the warehouse, hairdressers etc.. nice variety of stores to peruse in a low to medium foot traffic area.

A fairly average mall compared with competition but if you live in that area and don't want to drive e further this will do. It has an average Farmers and a good Hartleys and an interesting looking steak restaurant plus a couple of other good shops but the place has a slightly rundown, Asian atmosphere. A number of stores are the pop-up type and many ermanent ones have a junky, cheap appearance so I for one wouldn't bother entering them. The guy in charge of Number One Shoes wouldn't even smile at me so he immediately lost a sale, I refuse to give my hard earned cash to anyone who cannot even be pleasant, he gave me the impression that I wasn't worth any attention, perhaps because I'm not Asian and I'm a women. So yes if you need something quick or a meal at the Steak place I'd drive further if I wanted to meet up with friends for a girls day out.

It's always been an in between mall. Not large enough to burn time by wandering around, yet not small enough to be good for bargain hunting. A lot of issues with carpark theft and accidents. Park close to the stores.

Pakuranga plaza is quite a good place. You will get everything over here food, groceries, the countdown is here and warehouse is here too. Want to book flight tickets there is flight centre as well. Then pharmacy for medicines farmers for clothing, many coffees places too. Just make sure that on Saturday night they have night market so make sure to come early and get an early parking space otherwise you might struggle with parking.

Quite an, old tired mall. Feels like it's heyday was in the 90s. Lack lustre food court. Lots of closed shops. Carpark is old and difficult to navigate but without too many potholes.

A one stop plaza. You can get almost all your needs here! From clothes, food, books and bargains such as op shops. And on a weekend they have a night market of food which my family loves!

I normally hate malls but this one has huge character and a great range of very cool stores. The Jewellery stores are excellent and the clothing stores are very good places to pickup great threads. Hang out in Nandos or grab some Sushi then check out the Rock Shop JBHIFI and Kathmandu.

Its my local! Its quite small now compated to the mega malls we have now. Farmers, warehouse, countdown, bed bath and beyond and life pharmacy are my usual visits. Plenty of parking, but be careful for the parking wardens sometimes there can be 2 or more lurking. I got a rego ticket parked outside the post office as I was paying for it. If you want to avoid park under the warehouse.

Pakuranga plaza is one of the finest mall in Auckland. I always shop here now almost 5 years. This mall is moderately busy so you get more attention from the shops management. You can get a very good bargain all the time. The mall offers ample parking. And parking is free for 1 hour. There is a big farmers very big warehouse nice count down 4 coffee shops wonderful food court with very nice setting. Cleanliness is 5 stars. Toilets are very clean. Most shops offers competitive cheaper price. I have compared with other malls . Pakuranga plaza is very fair pricing. Burger King is great with free filling machine and 70c ice cream and very cheap $5 stunner meal and service by friendly staff . I know their names too Mihi Wiki Hope Mehek. They are full of energy and courtesy. Warehouse is superb. Great place to shop. If you want to spent some quiet time . This mall is the ideal place. There is free wifi and kid play area. Hi there for a better bargain I highly recommend this Mall You must shop there

There are so many malls to choose from, with Pakuranga Plaza been one of the older ones out there. It still has most of what you need, with Farmers, Countdown been the largest stores. It has a nice food court, though it gets crowded at peak times. The cafes are ok with several to choose from. The Porterhouse does serve a mean steak. Remeber also there are shop doted around the periphery that are not accessible from in side the mall, includ9ng travel agencies, the post office, Bakers Delight and so on. Although it serves the community well it could do with an update.
