Best playground in the west Auckland, period. This is a well maintained playground with many facilities. Plenty of areas to play and picnic. There is a dedicated bike track for kids and a play area. Biggest attraction is the huge metal slide. Great place host bdays as there are two covered picnic areas that you can book.

My 5 year old loves this park. But if you're looking to have a picnic here, there are only 4 tables with benches, (2 tables under one shelter, and there are 2 shelters) so, first come, first serve. There are no big trees near the playground where you can have a picnic (if the tables are all taken) to relax & keep an eye on your little one. Other than that, this is the best spot for kids.

A wonderful playground! There are a lot of children during the holidays. Excellent flat track for sports activities around the football field. A truck arrives and sells ice cream.

Great facility! Has a shaded BBQ conveniently located right next to a very extensive playground, and even a small scooter track with traffic signs to teach kids road code! Everything is fairly new and well maintained. The only downside is the amount of shade available is a bit scarce.

Wow huge funtimes for all.bike tracks fitness trail sports fields toilets and eating areas with bbqs.on a hill overlooking westgate shopping centre and Massey.

Good park with good options for toddlers. My 3 year old loves going here. The bike track here is just perfect for kids starting off their balance bikes.

1 of my go to playgrounds to take the kids. Better than most as it has a separate area where younger kids of preschool ages can play. BBQ areas are also a plus

It was awesome and we quite enjoyed it and we played in the snow because it was covered in white snow but not that much covered in snow and the playground was amazing

First time i have seen a junour mini road lay out for young bikers. 2 shelters with bbq. A very large steep slide for older children. Suitable for young and teen

Awsum playground for the young ones a BBQ pit with covering and 2 family size picnic tables .and a field below for the ones who want to be away from the crowds.Very busy place on the weekends so if your planning a family barbq out get there early. Its become a popular family spot..

Great park for children. As I have said in other reviews. I don't understand why parks are now created with limited shade.

Our kids absolutely love this park, its has so much to offer. A park for the little kids and a park for the much bigger kids, a driving area for kids on bikes & scooters, bball court, BBQ area with picnic tables and who could forget that big slide! We love this park but my only issue is please put some toilets at the top where the park is, separate to the ones below. Its not practical when you have more than 2 young children and 1 adult to take a child to the toilet and leave the rest unattended.

Nice park big but needs more shading on a sunny day...as families hog the picnic tables lol

Great playground for kids (when not in lockdown!) Two field areas for playing on surround with paved path for running or walking.

Not enough shelter here for the beating down sun but other than that very kid friendly and popular

Large playground area. Large fields to play. Exercise equipment. Only downfall is having the toilets at the bottom of the hill.

Very nice playground. Good walking track and 2 sports fields. Also, plenty of shaded grass up top for a picnic (though sometimes it gets windy).

This place is awesome kid and adult friendly then you have a massive field you can let your dogs etc play around. Love love love this place.

Its bursting with goodness , fantastical place , free bbq,small tidy ,well kept amenity, free excercise equivalent. Sports field, walking tracks , take a picnic and some shading , many birthdays held there , yes very family orientated, close to west gate shopping centre , 360 degree veiws nearly , really spectacularly bueatiful

Really nice park big walking tracks, trampling for kids, big slides kids swings, basket ball or rugby play area alot car parking ,nice toilets and open gym machines to use for everyone you will love once you visit.

Good place for a famy BBQ though only one shaded plate however large field for the kids to play and lots of swings for kids to enjoy. A fun place for the family

Great Park, you have the choice of playing on the sports fields, walking or running around the park, taking your kids to the playground or having a bbq using the bbq's supplied at the playground, great choice.

A little quieter than the new one at Northwest. Still very popular and relatively clean and tidy.

I went walking with my sister to the mall to go shopping instead of driving there. Nice to see the black Swan swimming in the dam. We stopped and fed it some bread. Love it
