Lovely family walk. Easy track and great area for kids

The Taylor River walk is relaxing and busy at times. However people are polite and pleasant. The river always lovely to look at in all the different seasons of the year. Even when parts of the river I think it goes underground in very dry summers which is a mystery in it self. As it appears again further down the track.

Great dog walking territory. Suitable waste bins and plastic bags by bridge. Daffodils in spring. Trails on both sides and sculpture and poems along Taylor River. You read information about finding out how fit you are based on track times. Big sky country. Sometimes a small train. Car parks close and in the centre of the town and easy to walk to.
