G.Very nice place,was very windy the day we were there
Three stars is really because the shops are far away and we did not find the cbd
T.Only good for swimming at a high high tide. Great walking down the beach anytime with plenty of different entrances. Swimming at any time down by the point at the boat club at the end of the road but it has quite a strong current there.

T.Great location out of the city to visit, but not to far out. Safe spot for kids to swim and safe quiet community. Very tidal so have to consult the manukau tide chart before you plan your swim. Stick to the local swim spots unless you talk to a local, a few areas with rocks and shell beds that aren't very pleasant to stand on. Great place for water sports as will as a bin oat ramp and beach launch spot to get out the the deeper spots of the manukau to get to the fishing spots. A shop, liquor store, good fish n chip shop along witha popular restaurant can also be found out there, so if unprepared up find what you need there.
N.There is no notice at the entrance of this parking lot, not many people know that there are beach parking spaces

D.Can't beat this place. Go to wind down, stroll and relax location. Never crowded. Always a winner.
B.Go at high tide, otherwise it's a little barren.
Dog really loves splashing around, it's mostly deserted weekdays which is awesome.
