C.Easily one of the best places we have stayed in our motor home over the past 5 years. So good, we came back again 9 months ago with friends. OK, it is not a for the nose-in-the-air guests, but the camp is very clean and has everything one would need for a relaxing time/holiday. Highly recommended, and our friends who had never been there before, agreed with us. So 4 sets of thumbs up, thank you.

R.Excellent value for money at $10 per night - clean and well kept facilities (kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, laundry) and large, flat campsites separated by bushes and trees - the perfect size to set up our 2 man tent next to the car and still have plenty of space to sit and relax.
The only negative is that it’s close to a main road and we were woken up several times through the night by traffic.
Edit: Recently stayed here for a second time, this time in our campervan and in a site a bit further from the road and was much quieter.

C.For the price it is very cosy, $50 dollers a night for a cabin that comes with 3 single beds and 1 double bed, nice little kitchen to the side with i nice big firidge, the bathrooms are clean and actualy dont smell like urine. there is a very big comunal kitchen for the cabins that only have beds. Very lovely lady at service desk amazing service A+++++ would recommend for anyone and any family. Well done.
R.Very friendly holiday park. Excellent laundry and kitchen facilities. No charge for showers. Wonderful vegetable and herb garden available for picking. Reasonable prices.
S.Amazing, best holiday park we've stayed in as a family 2 toddlers and 2 adults and excellent room rates and accomodating to families. We want to make this a yearly trip we loved it so much
E.Comfortable and clean. Very friendly reception. Mostly level and easy accessible grasses sites. Dump station, laundry, kitchen and TV lounge. Well maintained ablutions.

R.Other than the rude answer to a phone call the grounds are actually pretty cool. They're small grounds but very very tidy. The kitchen has a nice warm enclosed area in the back, theres a little veggie garden and its close to everything.

M.Stopped in and asked if I could use their showers. The lady at the desk was helpful and friendly, and 5 minutes later I was enjoying the heavy flow of a good shower in very clean, private facilities. Cost me $5 but it was worth it.
Also noticed how well maintained the entire section was so although I didn't stay the night, I would assume their sleeping quarters are pretty decent.

S.Stayed here recently for just one night. The hosts were excellent and the cabin we had was very clean. The facilities in the cabin were good, especially the shower which was excellent. The only let down was that although we were warm in bed, my husband and did not sleep well as the pillows were very uncomfortable and we could have done with two more in the unit. Yes, we could have asked but I suspect we would still not have slept well as I am sure no one would sleeping on plastic covered pillows. The linens were superbly clean!
W.Great little camp site, has communal kitchen area, toilets, showers, electric hook up and wifi is available. Situated in Hawera not far from shops, cafes etc to get provisions to stock up your camper for your travels.

S.We stayed in a small cabin, it was very clean. The owners are very friendly it is a lovely park, well maintained. They have pet rabbits which prove popular with the kids. What stopped this being 5 stars? The lack of kitchen utensils, we took a large ham, and there were no large knives in our cabin or the shared kitchen. Also there were no baking trays in the shared kitchen despite numerous ovens, there. There were also hardly any saucepans etc. Toilets and howers were immaculate.

S.Good central location with good vehicle on site access roads. Ablution facilities were clean. RV sites had hedging dividers to create a nice sense of privacy. Lovely staff interactions welcoming.

Sehr gut ausgestatteter Campingplatz mit sauberen Sanitäranlagen, Küche zum Kochen und Aufenthaltsraum. Leider ist der Platz direkt an der Hauptstraße gelegen, so dass man etwas Glück mit dem Stellplatz haben muss. Der Preis (20 Doller für 2 Personen, non powered Site) ist sehr gut.
