k.We were biking around the South Island with our 3 children and decided to treat ourselves to a two bedroom unit when we visited Invercargill. We were so impressed with the value for money that we decided to stay an extra night. It was quiet, well appointed and the staff were lovely. It was a close ride into town for supplies but also close to the start of the cycle path to Bluff too. A great choice for cyclists biking the TA or the Southern Traverse.
T.Wow, this place is amazing, we were trying to get into the top 10, but they weren't very helpful. The staff here are amazing and friendly, the facilities are impeccably clean and tidy, in fact the whole park is clean and tidy, they have great and affordable laundry set up, amazing kitchen set up and a covered BBQ area, we are set up next to a beautiful duck pond and it's very peaceful. Thank you Amble on inn, we love it here, it's hard to leave.
C.This place is one of the best little cabins I have ever stayed in. Took a trip to Invercargill from Hamilton for 5 days & was extremely happy with our cabin. Absolutely fantastic little home away from home. Has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Nice & quiet & really friendly people. Can't fault the place. Will be back for sure. I.Pleasant environment with flowers everywhere and it's own duck pond. Good wifi and great showers. The 3 friendly Labradors were a bonus. Good value for money.
H.Very busy park, full mostly of RVs and what look to be longer term residents. Reasonably sized lots, we had a spot right next to the pond which was a bit quieter.
Kitchen was a decent size and the laundry is the standard $4 each for wash and dry. Bathrooms felt a bit tired and grubby, needs a bit of TLC there.
Nice to be outside of the hustle and bustle, but it's still on a busy'ish road. Easy to get places from here

D.I have travelled the world stayed in holiday parks from Norway to NZ and this is one well set up and maintained park. You will not find better so close to the city. Motorhomes caravans back packers car campers will enjoy this site. Great motel rooms and excellent facilities.

E.The facilities are beautiful and this is the first toilet and shower area I've encountered which is kept heated so a having shower is a pleasant experience despite an Invercargill frost. Friendly owners and attractive well kept flower beds. I'd happily come back.

A.We stayed in one of the self-contained units for one night. The place was clean and the unit provided everything needed. It got very cold during the night. There's a heater but it operates quite loudly. If you don't mind the noise you can keep it running during the night. The staff was nice and helpful and provided tips on what to see during our stay. There's two big dogs in front of the reception. They're very friendly but it's still worth noting in case you're afraid of dogs.

W.The holiday park is located at the outskirts of Invercargill. The facilities are basic and there are plenty of powered sites for campervans and caravans. The kitchen is of decent size with three hot stoves for cooking, however, there is no hot water dispenser. The toilets and showers are clean and bright. The booking fee is generally cheaper compared to other holiday parks.
There is also a nice lovely pond on one side of the holiday park where you can find ducks and swans. Plenty of grass patch for kids to play around too.
The lady at reception was friendly and helpful although she could not find my earlier booking in her register book (the online booking was done offsite). Luckily there were still powered sites available. A pity that there was no complimentary DVD hire or wifi in this park.
Overall, it was a simple place for a quick stayover before moving on to other parts of south island e.g. Dunedin, Milford Sound or Queenstown.

k.Quiet peaceful basic camp with a rural outlook which is still close to the city. Shower was the best I think I've ever used in a camp anywhere in NZ. Will definitely be back at some stage.
V.Amenities are new and lovely showers. Great mix of perminant tenants and love to see new people. Very welcoming friendly community.

Z.(Translated) Very good camp. The old lady at the front desk is very eager to serve us and chat with us. It was very quiet at night and the toilet was very clean. There is a lake behind the camp, where there are a large group of ducks, two swans and two white pigeons, which are suitable for families with children.
