J.Nice, clean & tidy. Great to be able to order restaurant meals and have them delivered to the room!
C.Place is dated and in need of a revamp. Shower water was really weak, and cutlery was a bit dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable. The owner is lovely and hospitable. There’s a a good size swimming pool which the kids enjoyed. Also within short walking distance to restaurants and other restaurants and takeaways.
M.Yes the rooms are a bit oldschool with broken stuff etc, and there is no views but the very nice owners/staff and spotless cleaning as well as full facilities (kitchen, tv, A/C, laundry, pool, spa) helped make our stay a great one. The price of rooms is good value for money. If you expect a luxury hotel, go get a room for at least twice the money somewhere else. Its located within walking distance from the center, and is a good starting base for your journey to Cape Reinga or 90 miles beach.
I.We have stayed in a few Assure motels and this 1 had more of a tired interior. It was tidy but lots of scratched and damaged joinery and cobwebs in some ceiling corners. But lovely staff and very family orientated. Other than a party in the room next to ours with teenagers or young adults and we were close to reception so staff wouldve heard till 1am...and had a shiwer after my hubby and mine ran out of hot water after 4 mins!!?
S.We stayed at the Wayfarer Motel at Labour weekend. It is not a new motel by any means but we were treated very well. Lovely friendly staff. They even helped out my cousin(who was not staying there) when she got lost trying to find us. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.
R.This is a good place to stay in Kaitaia, where the options are a little limited. The place and the decor are a little dated, but the rooms are spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. Free WiFi and Sky TV. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

At $55 per person per night, this is a pretty good motel - ample beds in good condition (the single ones are very soft, though), well ventilated rooms' packed with necessities (a pedestal fan & a heater in each bedroom, a table, chair, dressing table, a wee storage room), an alright dining table & chairs, a good TV with a favourable Sky package enabled, Unlimited WiFi (3Mbps DL & 1.5Mbps UL speed limit... sorta impressive), basic cutlery & crockery in the kitchen, in addition to the microwave, little fridge, a proper induction stove & baking oven (all set up for use, covered with foil properly in place). The compartmentalized (toilet & shower separate from the sink area, with a door & curtain) bathroom's accessible from both the kitchen and bedroom. Oh, and a sweet balcony!
The most maddening thing is in the small shower - the shower head is SO SLOW in its delivery of the little amount of water (no limit, but it stops if another tap is using water at the same time) that the first time, you'd want to grab the curtain, its rod and -! I kid but yeah, it's literally like an old-fashioned plant-watering can... look, it's certainly understandable and won't matter if you're not too fussy, but still a surprise considering everything else is still quite serviceable in 2017. The taps overcompensate for this by gushing out water. Another gripe is the hot water taps - scalding water from the get go, so be careful.
Apart from the content in this above rant, everything else was likeable!
J.Nice motel at the north of north island. Parking lot are well indicated for individual room. Recommend if you planning to visit Cape Reinga and need a night stay after viewing the beautiful sunset.
A.I did run out of hot water in the shower, but apart from that is was comfortable and quiet.
Q.When in Kaitia not so many choices lol...thou looks like the 70s its clean & the lady at the reception is really nice🙂

Schon etwas älter aber gut gepflegt. Es gibt eine voll funktionierende Küche im Zimmer. Fernseher bietet viele Skysender. Das Motel ist optimal, wenn man mal ein paar Tage ausspannen möchte.
