J.Enjoyed a 3 night stay at Mawley Holiday Park recently and appreciated the spotlessly clean bathrooms and kitchen facilities. The host was welcoming and friendly and we would happily stay again.
R.After leaving the Wellington ferry we rode through to Masterton on Thursday evening 17th February, no accomadation booked as we were winging it so to speak. We called into Mawley Holiday Park to see what was available about 2015hrs, the park manager (Nadia) was fantastic, friendly and very helpful, organised a room for the four of us, sorted tea and coffee as well. Great place, great hospitality and a nice quiet place, room was very clean and tidy, park facilities were excellent.
T.We visited Mawley Holiday Park last weekend. It was the first time away in our house truck for our two elderly dogs and it was perfect for them. Lovely clean facilities and friendly host. We will return for another visit soon.
E.Very friendly and welcoming reception. Nice big level sites. The bathrooms are like ensuites.
J.I had a standard cabin for two night and can highly recommend Mawley. The communal bathrooms were unisex rooms that had a shower, basin and loo. This gave a sense of privacy that can not be replicated! Not to sure how many there were but the camp seemed fairly full for the weekend but I never had any trouble getting a bathroom when I needed it.
While I didn't use the kitchen or lounge they looked very clean and tidy, I loved the recycling effort + the tomato plants outside of the kitchen!
In my room linen was provided and the sheets were crisp and the towels were spa sized and perfect. The room was a good size and I loved the heat pump and fridge. The bed had a quilt as well as a bedspread so would be very cozy in winter.
The manager was friendly and helpful. It felt safe and convenient - literally in the town and just a few minute walk from the pool complex.

A.Beautiful place, shops are 7min walk. But if h walk fast then like a 3 min walk.
Big camp ground with toilets and showers. A big door coded locked gate for access and a 6ft fence all around.
Gas station across the road. This environment is awesome, the people here that you met are all friendly, the river is right there so can see the scenic stuff. Please don't swim in the river as their is Algy warnings.

T.Fabulous, clean, tidy, hot showers, fabulous staff, we loved it, would definitely recommend.
R.We booked for our campervan for one night, really easy phone booking, were expecting us late, a really lovely lady came and let us in and gave us all the details for set up. Bathrooms were really nice and clean, individual toilet with shower. Laundry was easy. Handy to walk to town. Super friendly and helpful staff.
R.A bit of road noise, but otherwise quiet. Great location for traveling in the Wairarapa.
Very helpful to accommodate our later than office hours arrival.

M.This is an excellent camping ground. Best shower and toilet facilities I've seen in any place I've gone camping. Everything is tidy and well maintained. Especially good place to take kids as it has a nice playground and is within walking distance to the local pool and Masterton's big, central playground. Friendly and helpful management here, too.

o.Well where do I start pretty good camping area onsite park for the kids. Kitchen was big has 3 ovens 3 big fridges and chest freezer, pans baking pans, plates the lot, you dont need to take any cooking things with you, 2 BBQs. a few showers. easy access to queen elizabeth park walking about 10 to the park and swimming pool
M.Wow what a beautiful park and facilities. Stayed in the cabin with ensuite, it has a queen and a set of bunks with a pull out couch bed if needed, fully self contained with everything you need.

L.Stayed one night at an unpowered site. Facilities were clean and kitchen well stocked. Liked the locked gate to reach the high street faster while walking.

J.A great place to stay and enjoy what Masterton has to offer. The Park is well managed and a short walk to town. The staff and the visitors are so friendly and welcoming.
I.A delightful and well laid out campground and motel. The owner greeted us as we arrived and it seemed that we were a bit of a bother, but that quickly disappeared and we were made to feel very welcome. The facilities are outstanding, modern, well maintained, free washing machines and all facilities are very well presented. Very reasonable prices. Definitely worth staying as town center is just a short walk away.
E.My children and I stayed 2 nights and loved it! Cleanest bathroom facilities I've seen at any camping ground. Friendly staff, big room with huge beds, modern very clean kitchen facilities, nice atmosphere. Definitely be staying here again and highly recommend! Cheap, affordable and worth every penny spent. The only suggestion I would make is to possibly have a smoking area? Or even ashtrays located outside rooms perhaps? Other than that, 10/10 ☺

L.It is a great central park in Masterton. Walking distance to the park, pool and shops. Great and clean facilities. Friendly and quiet. The only complaint is that we got flooded out. The site we were on is prone to flooding. We were not advised of this. The owners were accommodating in terms of finding us a cabin but we had to pay for that too. It would have been great if we had been told about it beforehand. Suggest not putting anyone on that site or try and fix the problem.
J.Had a great few nights at Mawley. Amazingly clean facilities - some of the best I've seen - including well equipped kitchen and clean toilets. Park wasn't overly busy, everyone very friendly, not a huge park so easy to get around, kids playground really good (and almost brand new in 2018), close to the swimming pools and QE Park and some shops. Overall loved it.

D.We stayed 5 people in a cabin. Friendly staff welcomed us and approached later on to ensure we are satisfied and happy! Very comfortable beds and spacious cabin. All facilities are new and in the best state I have ever seen in NZ. The only negative think were smoking neighbours, but there is not much you can do about it. Maybe designated smoking zone? Nevertheless great camping ground for really good price!!! Thank you
k.Just came to use the dump station as the public one was not available. The manager was very friendly and gave clear directions. Will have to return and stay one day when time permits.
J.One of the best camp sites I have stayed at. The facilities were excellent, clean and tidy and we were welcomed by friendly staff. We were in a none powered tent site, there was heaps of room and plenty of places to pick from. The area was quiet and we had an great sleep. Thank you.
B.Stayed 2 nights and it was good. Weather not so good but we were quite sheltered in the camp. Everything very clean and cared for hosts very helpful and friendly. Will go again
R.Loved it but a pity people can use texts to friends to monopolize the showers and toilets plus a shame the filthy kitchen which greeted us in the morning. Some guests are just to lazy to clean up after themselves.

C.Good holiday park. Showers are great, free and give much more privacy than usual. Tent area was good on grass. Kitchen had a lot of equipment, and the dining area and TV room were large and comfy. We payed $18pp on unpowered site.
J.Great check in - checkout easy drop box outside office. Room were OK. Could do better. I came here to expect free wifi as I ordered but you only get a free 250mb. Clearly some poor advertising.
T.Checked in this evening by Vivian and Husband, and both were warm and inviting, AND the big impression, accommodating, I booked through Expedia last night and thought I'd booked for today but was told that I had booked for the following week HUGE mistake on my part but Vivian made an effortless transition to this week and even upgraded me to my surprise. Thanks Mawley Holiday Park awesome service. I greatly recommend them.

A.We stayed here for 2 nights since we had tickets to a Wairarapa Garden Tour and needed a comfortable base to stay.
We are NZ born and currently reside in Wellington. We have been to a number of camping grounds throughout our lifetime, and we'd say Mawley Holiday park was up there with the top 3! Clean rooms, fresh linen, well equipped kitchen with gas cooking (wow!!) And the toilet and shower facilities were clean, modern and were all unisex separate rooms.
The park itself is right next to the river, many parks and the centre of town. A+
We will be back again!
D.Awesome camp ground. Stayed in their cabins several times and they're warm, clean and nice. Fully equipped kitchen too so no need to bring plates and pans etc.
P.Great facilities, reasonably priced and right in the centre of town. The kitchens are well fitted out with plenty of stoves, sinks and draws full of utensils, cutlery and crockery. The showers were clean and warm.
L.Had a great time here with the family. Had booked a few units together for a family members birthday. Great kitchen to use and outdoor grill. Super friendly and helpful owners.

Located some meters from Masterton downtown, this holiday park has individual toilets, free showers, water points, grey water points, nice kitchen, free laundry, comfortable tv room, barbecues, playground, an amazing and cute staff and much more make this place the best camping site in all Wairarapa. I really recommend! (Internet is not free)
R.4 of is arrived on motorbikes to lovely clean unit. I went to office to buy 2 extra milk 250ml pottles for cereals but he said I can do better than that - gave us 3 extra free. Big ups for Mawley!!

P.Best holiday park seen in NZ. Large cabin with a table, several chairs and a good bed (however bad smell in the room beacuse of the carpet). Modern and very clean facilities. Large kitchen and dining room, well equiped, with everything for cooking. Free wifi could be perfect.

M.Awesome camping ground with good amenities. Easy walk from the grounds to the swimming pool, park and deer farm. Bit noisy if you're placed near the main road but nothing major!
A.Very good holiday park, one of the best we've been so far. Big room with real bed, fully equiped kitchen and free unlimited shower. Everything was clean and tidy, this park truly deserve a 5 star rate but the wifi isn't free so I stick to 4 ( btw the price for the wifi are realistic, not like most place in nz, 5$ for 100Gb )

S.Stayed in a cabin for 6.gud facilities...very clean and tidy...very quiet and close to town...2 complaints though ...were quite a few cockroaches outside under deck...an hr outside on the deck at night you would see up to 15 or 20 of them..fairly big too....2nd complaint was we weren't told we needed credit card for security or a 100 dollar bond upon booking...my brother had to use his card as we only had enough for rates for 3 nights in cabin...which was ok until the lady that served us told me and my brother that i had better bring my teenage sons in so they could be told by her that any damage or trouble would be charged to his card...my sons did not need to be lectured on behavior...found this very embarrassing and quite rude...especially due to the reason we were there...they had just lost their last nana and mine and my brothers mum...a book shouldn't be judged by its cover...no behaviour problems had to be enforced...
Since putting this review up i have been rung directly by viv...she apologized for situation that we were put in...found this very humbling and appreciated the call....also noted priblem with cockroaches and have said they will up there eradication program...please note that we never had any inside any of the facilities....it is lovely place to stay and my review was influenced by the reason we were there..my mothers death and funeral..

Clean and very modern showers and toilets and very very nice owners who help where possible. There are also free washing machines. The dryer can be used conveniently for $ 4, or the laundry simply on the clotheslines which also hang with brackets available.

Günstiger Campingplatz, große Küche wo alles (von besteck bis Teller, pfannen, töpfe etc.) Alles gestellt wird. Sauber und sehr moderne duschen und toiletten und sehr sehr sehr nette besitzer die helfen wo es geht. Außerdem gibt es kostenlose Waschmaschinen. Den trockner kann man günstig für 4$ benutzen, oder die wäsche einfach an den wäscheleinen welche auch mit klammern zu verfügung stehen aufhängen.
