S.Just loved our camping trip here, nice and relaxed, heaps of room and shade. Great stream for the kids, big and small, to play in, will be going back!
S.Pretty run down. Lovely area and probably worth a visit outside peak holiday season but facilities too old and small for the number of campers. Would be great if you are self contained but limited hot water and Tiny kitchen make it difficult for large families.

S.Great setting. Lots of trees and very sheltered. Owners seem really chill. Great river to swim in (hint, it heats up through the day). Waipatiki is 25 mins away and Linden estate is just down the road. Well worth a visit. We had a great time and will be back. Would highly recommend. Basic amenities and a great vibe.
J.Cool relaxing place to stay. More of an old fashioned camp. Relaxing atmosphere with lovely mature trees and right on a safe shallow river. Suits campers really well. Plus only 20 min from Napier.
J.We really enjoyed our stay here. The manager was welcoming and helpful. The facilities were basic but clean and affordable. Showers were free. We stayed in the cabin and it had everything we needed, was close to amenities and away from the main camping area so we were hardly aware of other campers. If your planning on staying in a tent there is no where to sit indoors or under shelter that we saw so you would be reliant on your tent or under the trees. This wasnt a problem for us being in the cabin. There is currently only 1 cabin available so make sure you book ahead. There are several caravans though.
V.Great, simple holiday park the way camping used to be. We stayed in the small caravan, had a cooker, running water and a comfy bed, heaps of storage and a wardrobe to hang clothes in. Great value for $50. Camp facilities were simple but clean, had everything you needed to cook and shower with. Owner was very friendly and down to earth. Would definitely recommend for a quiet weekend away or an extended family holiday.
l.The owners were lovely, nice, and helpful. There was a great little swimming river with a fun rope swing into it. There was a great casual vibe to the place.

m.Fabulous time, had the best glamping experience ever got our first time. My partner had just come home from India, so I decided to surprise him with a typical Kiwi welcome home, staying on a beautiful farm. Such lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much.enjoyed it very much 😊

J.Loved this place. I camped in a tent there and being so close to the Eskimo river we could just walk down and have some fun in the sun. You can also float down the river on inner tubes. Five stars for everything.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
T.Hidden quiet oasis, with plenty of space and popular with families. Unfortunately we were only visiting but it is high on our list to stay in the future. Consider bringing beach/reef shoes and mozzie repellent .

m.Beautiful site by the river, loads of space - pick your spot and enjoy! Good facilities and friendly owners. The only let down is the permanent caravan park on part of the site.

A.stayed here in Jan for 1 nite in my van on way down to South Island.. nice place for nite.. quiet and lots trees for shade on hot summer days.. very small kitchen.

S.Lots of shady trees, clean, shallow stream (have to climb down a small bank), clean public loos. Plenty of room. BUT! Gets a tad windy and branches CAN break off the trees!
