Awesome place to come and stay. We had our first time at this camp ground just a week after the new owners took it over a year ago and loved it. After extensive development and more to come this camp ground is transformed and is so lovely to stay at and is now our regular place to come. We have now been 6 times and each time it gets better and better. The beach front location is perfect, and lots of trees. The owners are always around and on site everyday hands on. They have a high standard which reflects in how they manage the camp ground and we feel safe in this camping community. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a friendly, clean place to stay.

Clean tidy top 10 site with an excellent popular cafe. Great coffees, hot and tasty. Had breakfast each day superb. Invited friends x 4 for last day for breakfast. All enjoyed the food immensely. Standard cabin very clean everything needed was supplied, except area to hang clothes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds laid out well and access to beach 2 mins.

Fantastic hosts, fabulous facilities , clean, new and a range of things for people of all ages to do. The LOCATION. IS AMAZING!! Caught fish off the beach, had a cappuccino and some incredible food at the cafe( it’s not a cafe the restaurant food rivals central Napier)! I travel 70% of my time nationally and internationally, 4 star, 5 Star and even a few 6 star venues. ……. Give me this place over all them anytime ! Thank you for a first class kiwi experience. 10/10

We stayed in a cabin with all the family taking up about three of them. Nice inside with everything you need. Good playground for the kids, nice and safe with the beach a 2min walk away. Town is only a short drive which makes it a super easy and relaxed place to stay.

Have just spent 10 nights (including Christmas and New Year) at this awesome spot. Management and staff working so hard in these COVID-19 conditions....cleaning facilities multiple times each day, encouraging mask use etc. Camp is also being upgraded (significant changes since we last stayed). We're happy campers.... looking forward to our next visit.

The owners were super friendly and booked the right sort of accommodation for our needs. We stayed in a new chalet with a queen bed and bunk beds, along with aircon, bathroom (amazing shower pressure), and small kitchen that we could cook dinners in if we wanted. The room was so clean and the beds were new and very comfortable. Clean towels were brought to us by Sharon every day which were fluffy and large. It was such a relaxed vibe, and we enjoyed hearing/seeing the ocean. Kids got to meet and play with other children staying. Great to get our coffee's and delicious scones from their Snapper Cafe every morning. We look forward to coming again. :)

Beautiful clean standard cabin. Accomodates 5. ( just 2 of us) Excellent cafe on site. Good facilities tidy and beach just 2.minutes walk from cabin. Lots of caravan sites available. Enjoying our weekend away!

We have just spent a glorious 4 days at this camp in our caravan. We had a wonderful sight overlooking the ocean and Napier Port. All facilities were clean and the owners and staff were friendly and accommodating.We especially loved the Pacific Islanders impromptu singing in the evening . Thankyou...We will be back

Don’t pay until you’re sure you want to stay. We didn’t have a booking and paid on arrival, then after a 15min walk around decided the whole top10 vibe wasn’t for us. Requested a refund so we could go find somewhere more suited to our needs but the guy in charge pointed to their 3-day policy and refused. Our mistake was to pay before having a good look round but I was surprised they would refuse a refund in this situation all the same. Why force an unhappy customer to stay? If your product isn’t suitable, refund the payment with good grace and move on. Unfortunately the battle to obtain a refund has soured the Napier experience for us. Having said that though, it’s a beautiful, tidy camping ground in a great location - albeit with small sites close together. And maybe not ideal for anyone who is more into the basic DOC way of doing things.

I just stayed here with my partner and my two kids for the weekend. Very nice setting, lovely relaxing location right by the beach, winery (Crab Farm), and fruit icecream place in Bayview. Great cafe here too which was busy with the vintage car club and cyclists from Napier. Great new clean cabin. All the staff were lovely. I highly recommend this place and will be going back soon!!

What an awesome spot owned by awesome people. I stayed at the park for a month in my caravan as I was in Napier for work and was so happy with my choice. The environment Gene and Jenny have created in their little paradise is awesome. The facilities are always nice and clean, the grounds always kept tidy and help always at hand if needed. Having a top notch Cafe on site just adds to the appeal the park has and I will definitely be back for a holiday sometime soon.

Beachfront site has unbeatable views of Napier and the Port and out to sea. Great contact and customer service when booking, emailing and on arrival. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing holiday park, perfect location, stayed with my three young kids. Nice and quiet, stayed on the beachfront cabin and it was perfect, just open the door and let the kids go! Cabin was on the spacious side, clean, full kitchen of appliances and homewares, complimentary hot drink sachets etc. Park for the kids and the cafe is amazing. Priced the same as town, food is cabinet or kitchen, coffee is Hawthorne. Had a lovely time and the girls didn't want to go home. Will definitely be back.

The owners here are amazing. We tried to book on the phone but someone was booking online at the same time so they gave us the unit and over rode the online booking. They were friendly and welcoming as were other guests. We booked a basic cabin and expected really basic. It had far more than we anticipated. The communal showers and bathroom were close and easily accessible. $1 for 5 minutes shower was pretty good and great pressure. We were arriving very late but the owners still came down to greet us and give us great directions to our cabin. The next morning we had coffee and breakfast in their Cafe and it was beautiful. Great conversation with the owners before we left. Top notch holiday park experience.i would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Havn't visited for a while. Nice to see upgrades/improvements in progress. Cafe good value, even though only cabinet food available on Monday and Tuesdays. Rest of the week menu looked like good value.

We rented a "self contained cabin" Aka what you'd expect in a hotel room Small fridge, toilet & shower etc Cons: 1 towel for 3 of us, no tea towel, 1 top sheet for 4 beds. They're renovating or doing maintenance. Necessary but closed road sections and ditches are a temporary negative. I don't know if there's wheelchair accessible units, I booked through bookings[dot]com. And I couldn't warn NBKHP that one of us is an ambulatory wheelchair user. Pro: kitchenette has Kettle, toaster, drinks caddie with tea coffee gf hot chocolate. Beach front, even at the back of the property you can hear the sea. There's a fan & tiny heat pump (I think). We didn't need them but I'm sure they're great in summer. Great for a family holiday & you can worry a bit less about being too loud for the adjacent room.

Lovely spot on the beach, very clean and tidy. Quality of linen and towels are a nice touch 👌 Will definitely be back.

Cabbins were awesome staff were super friendly chill with us ariving at 9:30pm grounds were super clean great pricing realy strong water pressure in the showers 2 10\10 would go again

The location was really great for for accessing the cycle trails. My husband and I have stayed at a few Kiwi Holiday Parks in different areas of NZ, and this one definitely wasn't the tidiest or nicest. I thought it was quite shabby and not kept as well or with as much care as the others we've stayed at. However, the staff was nice, and the park was fairly quiet, which was great. Probably would look for somewhere else to stay next time.

Booked cabin for two nights. Yes it was a basic Cabin floor needed a good clean especially under bed. With use of showers and Toilets. 2 of the 4 showers in the Womans area were out of order. $1 for 5 min shower ( undress first otherwise you could run out of time) My partner had a cold shower in the mens area. They did reimburse the $1 Seemed to be a lot of permanent stayers wirh Dogs. Thought it was a bit run down for the price so wont stay there again.

We have visited a few times now. With new owners this place is a must. We have a motorhome and enjoy the privacy with the hedges around. This park is very family friendly focused. Clean well maintained amenities with continued upgrading going on. It is close to bike tracks, wineries, shops and other amazing attractions. The cafe is well serviced with a lovely variety of foods and beverages. Staff go out of their way to make this an enjoyable experience. Well worth the trip.

Enjoyed my stay plus the cafe meal (all day breakfast)was great & not greasy.

Pleasant affordable cabin. Comfortable. Good fridge. Pleased to have toilet and shower in cabin. Helpful pleasant staff. Room fan not working portable fan rather grubby otherwise 5 star.

Stayed using Campsaver. A great experience. Tidy, clean and great hosts. Cafe coffee pretty good too for the trip home

Nice spot. Good playground for the kids and the staff were friendly. Glad I got a cabin at the back and not right by the beach because it was really windy when we were there. The beach is not nice for swimming, quite rough but did some fishing.

A pleasant camp beside the sea. Grassy sites with trees and shrubs. Clean facilities although only three toilets in each of the women's and men's blocks. Friendly, helpful staff. Cafe on site. Short drive into Napier.

Beautiful settings. Family friendly (well supervised pets also) though maybe the beach is not suitable for poor swimmers. Fishermen will love it. Plenty to see and do in the area. Thanks to the staff ... we got in on a cancelation.

New owners since December 2020 , the regulars at this camp say great improvements. We had the fish and chip saturday was good cooked on site take away only in the snapper cafe in camp

Nice site, very busy over easter weekend. Not enough showers and has a smallish kitchen for the number of campers here. Right on the waters edge so good position.

We loved our beach front motel, we stayed for 2 nights and it was worth every cent, I never wake up for sunrises but I didn’t miss one while staying here and our sunsets were beautiful, the room was clean and I loved the bunk beds they are triple bunks and we have a third child on the way so we are looking forward to bringing him back to stay once he is big enough. The motels were big enough for a family of 4 we all had plenty of space and they were super warm with the heat pumps running. It was super warm in winter I can wait to come back one summer.

The place is amazing with beach. All the facilities are clean and tidy all times.. had a great stay.. Will come here again.. Good cafeteria.. Its amazing to stay :):)

I probably should have paid more because the cabin we had was very sparse. No toilet. No sink. Fir what it was it would be fine for younger fitter people for whom home comforts are not so important

This holiday park is amazing! Great, clean and tidy kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. There is a nice covered bbq area with picnic tables. They have a nice Cafe that makes great coffee, fish and chips and sandwiches. 2 trampolines and large open grass areas. It's own beach access away from the public roads. There are wineries and bike trails within minutes and you are only 5 minutes from Napier! I definitely recommend coming and staying here,

Great place for camping with family! We've been here for a couple of times but this time we went here with our two dogs.. dog friendly (obviously) and they have good clean facility, staffs are always friendly and helpful. Good location, not far from Napier and we always stop here before we drive up to Gisborne so it's convenient for us. Will go back again soon!!!

So cool, tidy and organized. Close to the beach... i did not book beach front accommodation. Clean room, lively kitchen, easy access. We had own patking sopt. And the staff friendly.

Good facilities and shady sites. We were allowed to bring our well behaved (large) dog for the Auckland anniversary long weekend. While in the campground he was required to stay on lead but we were given a site where it was very easy to get him out to the beach to let him off to run etc. They were thoughtful and left the two sites either side of us empty too. Overall they made it super easy for us to be there with the dog and it was very much appreciated.

We stayed in a cabin with our own ensuite. Sheets and towels provided. The room was tidy and towels changed daily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Can't wait to stay again.

Slept in a tent here with my family, and some of my other family members slept in a cabin. Really nice place, lovely people, huge camp site!! Love how we weren't next to anyone either! So felt like we had our own space. The beach is really close too.

Stayed in our motorhome and it was fabulous. The new owners are very helpful and friendly. Excellent facilities. Dog friendly, great cafe and yummo fish and chips.

We enjoyed a lovely stay with our family here. Bathrooms were clean and nice, well maintained grounds. Great location.

If you are camping and want nice camp spots this is a great place. They have done a lot to plant trees to create privacy, shade and shelter and are flat. We looked at Hawkes Bay Holiday Park first but is right next to the road and very noisy but the facilities were very good. The facilities at Napier Beach Holiday Park are not as good but the noise and lovely camp sites make up for it.

Loved staying here in our caravan, very reasonable rates, and a great cafe on site 😋

We had one of the beach front motels. It is great to be able to lie on your bed and look at the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Friendly helpful staff. Nice little spot with good beach access and cycle ways to trek in to town. Fantastic that you can take a dog so long as secured on a lead. Great coffee at snapper cafe . Nice sheltered hedging between sites . Gardens and outdoor facilities could do with some love and bit of a pain paying to use showers on top of the site fees .

These guys are the real deal. Lovely location, clean ,no fuss Highly recommended. Dont come if you dont like happy people and the sound of the waves.

We had a beachfront site which was fantastic. The staff in the office was wonderful and very helpful we couldn’t have asked for better.

My favourite place to stay when over near Napier. Very clean motel-style cabins with lovely view of the sea. Everything you could need in one compact unit.

This Camping Ground is nicely situated- close to the beachfront. On arrival Laars - the young man who works in Reception/Bookings deserves recognition. Why? His Service to Serve attributes to this Camping site. Arrival and welcome is SO so vital with guests arriving. Laars has worked here for several years. So knows everything on the site well. Helpful. Insightful. Accommodating. Knowledgeable aroun the area. Very. Very. Polite. Kind. Considerate. Under pressure. The same caring attitude shines through. My ONE disappointment. The shower/toilet areas (Male & female) need cleaning and maintaining regularly. Overall. I would definately recommend this site to families/couples. THANK YOU for a lovely stay. Necia Puna-Williams

The new owner has made a huge improvement to the camp since we visited and booked 2 months ago. With improvements will be a great place to stay

Very nice park. Excellent facilities. Close to Napier city. Beach is stoney and challenging to walk on. Typical ocean swimming. I have recommended this park to many. Can't wait to return.

Camping is ok, campervan sites are fine and amenities are clean. The only ridiculous thing is charging $1 for 5 minute hot showers, and $5 for wifi. I understand there's a need to conserve water, but still, sounds petty when you charge $70+ per night for a family.

Excellent place to stay. We had an ocean view motel . Very clean and comfortable, great views, friendly staff and reasonable rates. We would definitely go and stay again.

Enough space for a tent and car. Stayed in the unpowered tent site. It was pretty packed because of the Phil Collins concert. Needed clearer marking on site where we were located. Or a better explanation on how the markers work. (Was our first time) locatio: #68 unpowered tent site. Definately going back there when there is another concert in Napier! :)

Great location tidy but the bedside clock buttons were broken and so couldn't be turned on without the alarm going off which is a issue as it's handy to check the time without turning on the light also the gate closing notice didn't have a time on it I could have asked but a time would be useful

In spite of it not being listed in the top RV/ caravan and camping parks, we loved the position, the facilities and the friends we made there had we not been on a cook's tours and under time constraints we would have extended our stay as our American friends did.

Average campground, freindly staff, grounds looked unkept but it's winter. Facilities clean and having a cafe on site was just a bonus

Our stay was during stormy weather. Very nice, tidy camp. Allowing dogs is a bonus. Sites set up for them. Certainly recommend this camp to others, especially motorhomers like ourselves.

(Translated) She gave me a surprise. I didn't have much hope, and I came here when the camps I knew were full. I never book campsites, to give myself more surprises. The first thing I realized here is the boss's intentions and the greatest respect for people. Each site is separated by a hedge to ensure maximum privacy. Although it was full, it didn't feel crowded at all, but it felt peaceful and clean. It directly affects the relationship between people. Other places are also harmonious, but here is more friendly.
