D.Great views. Cycle/walk track right there. Dump station, water and toilets. Just beware we were here once when two bikes were stolen off the back of a campervan and yes they were chained up

J.Has everything a campervan could need, beach, toilets, dumpstation etc. Very open space, no privacy, unless in vehicle. Public walkway on beach side, main road on other.

T.Pulled into Pump Track Campervan Park around midday yesterday and walked north along one of the many walkways in the Napier district with our little woof woof . There is a off leash exercise area here , but dog must be under control at all times and pick up after him/her. There was 11 motorhomes and 6 vans/cars here last night . 2 dump stations and fresh water available on site . You can see the sea from your motorhome a 100 mtr away . Play ground handy for your kids. A little bit noisy through out the night with the railway line nearby , but all good .
G.A very popular spot. Room for Eight only, self contained vehicles. And not hard to see why. Park side on to the beach, watch the sun rise over the ocean. Walk or cycle the walkway, and very clean toilets. ... Great job Napier City. There is even a bin for campers to use. Will stay again next visit.

R.Lucky to be able to stay here during level 4 lockdown at no charge. Great view and location, and kept regularly clean by Friendly Council staff.
M.Stunning place to camp for the night. Can be a bit noisy with the road, but a lovely spot. Downtown is 20min walk.

J.Stayed here so we could visit the aquarium , park space only, it is freedom but don't use beach as very dangerous and get there early as it fills from 12pm. The toilets are open all night but over used and the stench is powerful. Wardens make checks late at night
C.Self contained freedom camping . It has toilets but we didn’t use them. Good view of the sea really pretty , and close enough to the shops you can walk .
R.Im impressed with this facility. Napier cc have exceeded all expectations. Nzmca members are very greatful to NCC. We all dined in nearby restaurants and talked to welcoming business owners.
S.It is a great place to stay overnight. It is a real credit to the Napier city Council. With lovely clean public toilets close by and the children love the pump track and all the other activities on Marine Parade.

M.Great place to park for quick and easy walking to all shops and cafes. At night the noise of trains is quite loud if you are not used to this. Also right beside waterfront so excellent for walking or swimming.

Disadvantages: Little privacy, no toilet paper.
For drinking water dispensers and taps for water tanks. Only for self-contained vehicles because of strict controls.

Guter Platz, wenn man schnell was für die Nacht in Napier finden muss. Der Parkplatz ist nahe am Stadtzentrum, direkt an der Marine Parade.
Nachteile: Wenig Privatsphäre, kein Toilettenpapier.
Dafür Trinkwasserspender und Wasserhähne für Wassertanks. Nur für Self Contained Fahrzeuge, da strenge Kontrollen.
N.(Translated) This is a pretty basic parking lot. We stayed in the car and our expectations were not terribly high but even though it was Saturday we were able to fall asleep. It might help that it was winter and it was really cool in the evening / night so there were no other people than overnight stays. It has a road right next door so it can be loud.

Tämä on aika perus parkkipaikka. Yövyttiin autossa ja meidän odotukset ei ollut kauheen korkeet mutta vaikka oli lauantai niin saatiin nukuttua. Saatto auttaa että oli talvi ja tosi viilee ilta/yö niin ei ollu liiemmin muita kun yöpyjiä. Siinä on tie ihan vieressä niin voi olla äänekäs.

Sehr dicht am Wasser und es sind viele Stellplätze vorhanden. Allerdings direkt an Straße und Bahnschien. An Ruhe ist daher an diesem Ort nicht zu denken.
