Great place to escape to in the Manawatu. Great for walks and running. Also top spot for exercising your dogs. The only black mark against it are the cyclists who think the shared pathway is a training track. Someone or animal is going to be seriously hurt one day.

Excellent cycle way and walkway, easy going, good for all ages.

Awesome walk way but the riverside drive car park isn't a safe place after dark , street lights would help this a lot. Public toilets would be nice too.

Ideal walkway for running, biking and even rollarblading, if your ever in palmy for a day or two, i highly recommend going for a jog down there
