M.Great friendly welcome, clean rooms, very comfortable king bed and facilities were very well kept. Plenty of space in room 10. Even ran a day long buisness meeting comfortably there with the big screen as my laptops second screen. Couldn't fault a thing and the hospitality was awesome. Definitely book again.
F.Love it! The host is amazingly friendly and our kids got spoiled every time we visited. The rooms are really well maintained and very clean, from our recent experience. Will definitely stay over again next time we travel up north.

B.I don't like ratings 5 stars because I don't want good places to get booked out.
But it's soo good I feel I need to. Close to town, clean and comfy, super friendly, and a fair price. It's a 5 out of 5 for me.
L.The host was very welcoming and the room was lovely and clean. Unfortunately a couple of things let it down. This motel advertises Netflix and 50+ sky channels. Couldn’t access Netflix and when I asked how to I was ignored. Sky channels were very very limited.
There was also a privacy issue with our room with people able to see in even when the blinds are drawn as the curtains don’t cover the whole window. I could also hear the bath in the room next to us being used.
Good location though and peaceful. Thank you.
_.Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautifully presented room which looked and smelt so clean!! The lady we dealt with was so friendly and kind and gave us treats for the kids when we arrived which was amazing after a long drive. Will definitely stay here again and 100% recommend. Keep up the great work.

The location is a few streets back from the lake. For us this great as there is no traffic noise. Highly recommend Ashbrook.

b.Room was immaculatey clean. Our one night stay was excellent. Welcomed on arrival with treats for the kids. Nothing was a problem. Very suitable for young families. Big parking spaces right outside your room and tv In the other room for the children. Highly recommend if your looking to get a great night's sleep. Close to the c.b.d but far enough away to be away from Taupos hussle and bustle.
Owners are very respectful and cater to any need.
l.What a lovely lady Maggie is, such a fantastic host, very welcoming on our arrival, I had booked direct will her a few days before, as I was bringing my wife away for her birthday, and needed a pet friendly Motel, as we have a little dog.
our daughter had sent flowers to the Motel from Australia, and Maggie had placed them in the unit, she also came down later with a box of chocolates and some discount vouchers.
We were given a one bedroom unit, with a spa bath, the unit was immaculately clean, everything was spotless, ( we managed motels in Hawkes Bay, ) in fact the whole complex was loverly, with hanging baskets of floers outside every unit and partisans between the units for privacy.
This is definitely one Motel we will be going back to and would highly recommend to anyone.

c.Great location, friendly staff, awesome little units... But the best thing is the spa bath. Soak your bones, cook a meal and chill out to a decent screen. You're good, and the price is very reasonable.
K.Very comfortable motel recently renovated and very friendly staff. No traffic noise and close to town to get food etc. The bed was very comfortable and there is sky tv available. Plenty of parking and nice chocolate dipped Oreos as a gift when you check in.
R.Super friendly reception. Our unit is exceptionally clean and well presented. The extra tv in the second bedroom would definitely a bonus for people with children.
J.Maggie went over and above for us - helping make our wedding day in September very special by putting our friends in the unit next to us - then accommodating us again in November - there was always extra treats for us and a flexibility with check out
L.Polite and nice.Rooms are very clean and smart looking.But beds were not very comfortable-to hard for us (the opinion of 4 adults). But overall it was a nice stay and competitive pricing.

R.It was super clean always. They were always very keen to get into the room to change towels and clean up each day. Sometimes rushing us a little to get it done b4 10am or as early as possible.
I had a wee dog and they were really good about having her there as well. I am proud to say that she is well house trained and does not damage property . The owner came in to unblock our bathroom sink at 10pm at night. Very helpful and great service. Great value. Well worth the stay. Great parking and access to our unit for my elderly Mother also, which helped and made our time in Taupo even better. Thanks for the awesome accommodation Ken.
T.what a clean well looked after motel lady in the office very friendly an welcoming the kids got lolly pops and sweet treats on arrival which they loved plus fresh fruit very happy campers 😁

B.Amazing 3 nights. Host was super lovely, very accommodating and bringing us lots of treats, chippies, biscuits, lollies etc. Very clean, quiet and modern. Close to town, thanks for having us!
R.We had a 1 bedroom unit. The staff were friendly, awesome shower, wifi was good, parking was a little tight but ok and it was nice and clean. The only real issue was the tiles were really slippery when wet and because it had been raining everything we bought in from the car was wet which made the tiles wet and slippery.
M.Very clean room with everything you need at a great price. Only intended to stay one night but was so comfortable we booked a second night. Really liked being able to park right outside room for easy luggage loading and unloading and was great having a spa bath at night to unwind. Will be looking to book again next time I'm in Taupo.

K.Very nice and spacious room. 2 actually. The bathroom was clean and big. You have dinner table and kitchenette. In the back garden you could hang your laundry. We even caught the owner who advised us for the tours and even drove us to the center to go catch a boat tour.
