R.Older motel rooms but very clean, comfortable, tea/coffee available, toiletries provided, and the sofa bed made up. After hours key pickup instructions given. One less towel in the room than people though
J.Grear stay in Taupo. Its within the city area so most things are within walking distance. You cant see the lake from the ground floor but the rooms on the 1st floor have a good view of the mountains and some parts of the lake. Comfortable room, with AC, the twin room is a good size for a family.
Margaret and Kevin are lovely people and great hosts. The spa is good addition to this motel and the carparks are well spaced. Good amenities in the rooms and everything was clean and tidy on arrival. Check out my detailed pictures of the room and surrounding area.
g.Room was great, they were super friendly and when I locked my keys in my ute the owners happily helped and brought out some wire so I could fish them of the seat. Definitely coming back!
P.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chevron motel. We were met with such a warm and friendly welcome. Our room had been heated for our arrival and it was immaculate. Upon our return the following day after a long day at an event, our room had been serviced and was so lovely to walk into. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much for making our stay an enjoyable and stress free one :)

L.Excellent value for what we paid. Close to town and the 2 Bdrm family room was perfect for our family of four. Room was a little dated in some parts, but very warm and comfortable with a good heatpump and electric blankets on all the beds. We also used the Hot Tub.
We did not have a view from our downstairs room and I would probably request an upstairs room, if we visit again.
