J.A nice surprise. This campground is right in the city, yet peaceful and tranquil. It's well maintained, clean and tidy with everything you need. Great views of the inner harbour too. I would definitely recommend staying here.
M.Great facilities & spot. We were meant to stay for a concert in Tauranga, but that was cancelled, so we ended up still coming and travelling around Tauranga & Mount Maunganui. Not far away from everything, great food and drink around, location was good. No issues at all. Would stay again.

L.Small(not so small actually). The owner is a very nice lady. We arrived late and booked late but the owner managed to keep one site for us. The location is very super too. you can walk on the side of beach on the deck. It provides nice kitchen with Gas stove! and laundry, clean toilet and shower place.
The only shortage is there is no playground for kids. But you can easily walk around the beach, so not a problem.
A.It's such a beautiful place to stay. So quiet and peaceful. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Super clean grounds and safe. Will definitely be back again :)

R.I liked this place, hosts were great, our pitch was big enough, and we had an end pitch against the shore. Hook up and water on each pitch, toilets and shower block was clean. Plenty of communal amenities for tent guests eg kitchen facilities. Shops were a short drive away or a petrol garage at the corner of the road for some essentials. Good place to stay...
I.Good facilities, quiet, friendly staff.
J.Awesome place to stay, and it's got a beach right beside it,. It is always very clean. The service from the staff are amazing. We left our cooker behind, and they replied almost instantly to courier it back. They checked a price for sending it back, and they thought the price to be too high, sent us an email about it so we could find something. We stayed in a tent for 5 days, and it was amazing. Definitely would stay again.
B.Dan is a wonderful, very friendly host where nothing was a problem. Amenities and grounds beautifully pristine & clean, loved it. Definitely can highly recommend as a place to stay. Top notch
K.A Fantastic Place to stay
I stayed here in my caravan, in July, for 3 weeks. The park grounds are kept very tidy (they will be beaut in summer when the flowers bloom) and a lovely view out over the water. The facilities are very clean and tidy and a well appointed kitchen and laundry with all floors just refurbished. Dan and Kerri are just so very nice people and always happy to help in any way. The bus stop just around the corner makes it a great way to see and get around Tauranga.
I really enjoyed my stay and will be back, as well as recommending it to others while on my travels.

A.Stayed one night on a spacious site. It was very close to the city and staff was very friendly. Right on the water, not a swimming site for us, but our dog loved it. We love any spot we can take our dog! It was very quiet and the bathroom was very tidy. Price for two was $40 for one night. The only thing was our tent was right next to the recycling facilities and someone decided to recycle glass bottles at 11 pm at night, rude! Overall, a good spot for one night.
L.A great camping ground, right next to the water (and we got no mosquitoes, yay), and good facilities (the bathroom code wasn't always working for me though, it took me a bit to "get it just right"). The only thing: our camping spot was a bit tight - we had very little room between us and our neighbors. We were happy spending a night here.
a.Very nice place to stay, close from the city centre, just a few meters from the sea. Amazing people, who helped us to go back to France. Enough space on each site, facilities were very clean, wifi is efficient, and the lounge is cosy. We'll be back here on our next trip to NZ.

J.We have been living in our motorhome full-time for the last four months, staying in a number of freedom camping places and also campgrounds. Tauranga Tourist Park has to be the nicest. We stayed a couple of nights and have been back four times since it feels like coming home, great position close to town and the hospital, staff & owners are helpful and friendly, everything is very clean and tidy, showers are hot, kitchen clean, a nice BBQ area. There are only two things wrong with it as far as I can see, no hook on the back of the toilet door and we can’t stay longer! Thought maybe we can fix these, then it will be perfect.

I.Smaller camp ground, but clean and tidy with pleasant hosts. Handy to estuary walkway/cycle trail. Getting back out onto the main road is tricky, best to turn left only as a right hand turn will be very tricky.
V.Great place to stay. Very clean. The only problem was that the kitchen was a bit to small so we had no enough space to cook with the rest of the people there.

Z.The place is good, but everyone feels vulnerable for two reasons: you can be given a 2 week notice to leave and that's it, provided you annoyed one of the others, for example, if your car meows outside and keeps the neighbours up when they gotta get up early, and the other reason is that they are leasing council land, so when their lease expires, unless they can get it renewed, they're gone and everyone has to just pack up and go. So a very troubling situation. Troubles in paradise, I suppose. :)

There is a kitchen, a cozy lounge, refrigerators, a freezer, washer and dryer, toilets and showers. The place is very well maintained and always clean! The family has even created a small herb garden for the guests. ;-) There is a jetty on the water! Generally it is a nice location, from here you can quickly drive into the city.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr schön! Die Familie, die sich um den Platz kümmert ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Es gibt eine Küche, einen gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum, Kühlschränke, eine Gefriertruhe, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Toiletten und Duschen. Der Platz ist sehr gepflegt und immer sauber! Die Familie hat sogar einen kleinen Kräutergarten für die Gäste angelegt. ;-) Es gibt einen Steg am Wasser! Generell ist es eine schöne Lage, von hier kann man schnell in die Stadt fahren.
