This is a big camp and quite full but it doesn't feel cramped. The price was really reasonable and the staff very efficient and helpful. Showers are great and everywhere is clean and well maintained. A lovely park.

Clean and plenty of amenities available. There where signs up advices there was a lack of staff, but all looked great. Spacious place for our van and tent. And walking distance to #thatwanakatree. Will sure come back as it's a great place.

It was fine. That's unfortunately about it. The part of the park we stayed in our caravan in felt more like a parking lot. Certainly wasn't the 'nice side' of the park. We had no wifi, it wouldn't reach and unfortunately the Wanaka cell network was overloaded so we barely got cell reception/data either. The neighbours didn't obey the sound curfews with loud music at 2am. But, it was new years. Manager did try to help to be fair. Bathrooms were always a mess. Very busy park. Would be fine not at new years if you stayed on the waterfront side I think.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights in a standard cabin. We arrived after hours, our cabin was clean, tidy with a comfortable bed. Camp facilities are excellent. I was impressed with recycled newspaper in cabin rubbish bin instead of plastic bin liners. Every bit helps. Would recommend.

We had an enjoyable stay here for a couple of nights. Close to the lake and walking distance from the township. Toilets and showers are basic but clean. Unfortunately one toilet block was shut due to lack of staff. Separate bins for glass, recycling and waste. Staff were a bit cold and messed up our payment when we arrived (we clearly asked for two nights). Then came to find us because we hadn't checked out, then chased multiple times for us to come and pay for the second night (calling us again while we were on site when we had said we would come past to pay). Holiday Park is open to all i.e. don't ask for a QR code.

Great holiday park. Good, clean bathrooms with unlimited hot showers. Very handy for town, only 5 minutes walk to he heart of Wanaka of the famous Wanaka tree!

Great location and the facilities are pretty good. However, for a busy time of year they needed to clean the bathrooms more than once a day! Their "no glass" policy was puzzling, as the glass bins were full every day. If you're pitching a tent, bring some solid pegs and a ground tarp, as the sites are rock hard. Easy walk to the lake & town.

Awesome stay over Christmas/New Years. Well managed security and management of visitors so no issues for families with young kids at NY. Lots of kids for our 9 year old to play with, lots of facilities, everything clean and well maintained and just a 5 minute walk to town or the lake.

Stayed in a cabin - very neat and clean. All the facilities were good. Were meant to stay three nights but I got injured on the mountain and had to leave early. They kindly refunded us for the last night. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for one night in April in a cabin with a double bed and bunks. Was just what we needed. The room was very warm and clean. Amenities were clean and tidy. Good showers 😊 close driving distance to town or walking distance to waterfront. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Cherry on top was a phone call the next day advising me they had found my ear buds in the room when cleaning up. Then they organised for them to be sent back to my home in the North Island. Not many places you'll find this kind of service still. Would happily stay here again if I ever visit Wanaka again.

I have stayed here before while working in Wanaka over the past few years. Never written a review as I had never felt the need to. This time there was no toiletries no soap , face cloth or shampoo. Not the end of the world normally, but on this occasion the were needed. Also I never noticed before but there were no bedside lights or a bedside switch for the main lights. Not what I have come to expect from self contained cabins/ suites in this beautiful part of New Zealand

Well laid out camp. It was very full for our stay so the toilet block could have done with a bit more more cleaning. We had an issue with another camper but unfortunately the management were not much help. We did however get some help from the local police after the office gave us their number

Wanaka is a lovely place to stay. Great site. Kitchen, dining and tv area very nice and very clean too. Good toilet facilities but the shower design is weird and some flooding causing wt floors. The lake is so beautiful and safe.

Stayed here for originally what was supposed to be one night but loved it so much we decided to push back our trip and stay another. The view of the lakes from the campervans is amazing! The fact every campervan site also has a picnic table is such a nice touch. I also liked that where you parked the campervan was on rocks/gravel not grass so during the rainy days you wouldnt get your campervan dirty with muddy feet. The kitchen is BIG and super clean - it has multiple microwaves, stoves, sinks with dishwashing liquids and cloths. The bathrooms were also immaculate every time i utilised them. You also get free premium wi-fi.Service at front desk was also great and receptionist recommended us the rocky mountain walk which we did and loved. Wish we could have stayed here longer

Stayed in a camper with a bonus using nzmca campsaver. Absolutely delightful staff that went out of their way to look after us The grounds are well laid out with generous sites. The facilities are new, clean and well maintained. Proximity to the lake and township make it a no brainer to stay anywhere else. We will be back.

Facilities were very complete and clean. Location is very strategic, near to ThatWanakaTree and near to town. Unlimited hot showers. They have a lot of showers and toilets to accommodate all the residents. The only bad is their kitchen, they do not provide any cooking utensils there and sometimes it is very dirty. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

Very nice and perfect location as it very close to Wanaka tree, lake and CBD. Nice playground very thoughtful as it is very much needed for family with kids. Management need to understand that tourist are travelling and coming from long road trip, so keep 24 hours facilities like kitchen and other amenities. We saw people were cooking with their mobile torch after 10 pm, very inconsiderate. Learn something from Ross Top 10 holiday park.

We stayed 1 night. It’s cozy, clean and warm. Shower and toilets are clean. It wasn’t busy to wait for queue to shower i was happy for this. Some places has not enough shower so i had to wait 😅😅 kitchen was clean and cool. Free wifi for a bit. I will probably visit here again next time in ski season 👍🏻👍🏻

I stayed at this campground for 2 months during lockdown. Everything was very well arranged, great facilities, best showers in New Zealand and the location is so beautiful. Surrounded by mountains, the lake and town :)

It was ok .we organised a group to spend 3 to 4 nights there..on 5 powered sites...the deciding factor was they advertised Camp Saver..when each of the parties booked in we were told ..no we dont do winter camp saver any more..only summer camp saver..Why would they do summer camp saver when they are very busy(ie discounting when high demand)...but not winter camp saver when they need the bussiness!?.(lower demand)..anyway it was a good weekend and i only mention cos i dont understand their logic.

A really nice camsite in walking distance to the lake and all the restaurants. We came for one night only and stayed 3 in the end. A lot of showers and toilets and clean. Laundy option for a reasonable price. Amazing kitchen area :)

Relatively quiet, fairly flat tent spots with very hard ground. facilities are poorly designed and finished with exposed wallboard seems, showers heads are too low unless you are well under average male height, it is difficult to keep everything that you brought into the shower with you dry.

Good shared facilities - kitchen, bathroom, laundry. Basic cabin had beds with bottom sheets, pillows & pillow cases, table, shelves, heater, outdoor cape cod seats & table. Upgraded to deluxe cabin for second night, had same plus tv, small fridge, all linen, nicer carpet, courtyard ~ definitely more comfortable. Some staff were friendly, others ok. My complaint would be they only take 4 night minimum bookings during peak summer period. But managed to get 2 nights on the day.

Location is 5 stars: very close to the lake, city centre and main city amenities. They have good outdoor spaces in the camping grounds, including childrens playground. Sites are of ok size with many points of water distributted around them. Soil was very hard when we were there; make sure you bring a good mallet! Abolition blocks are ok but should be bigger for the number of people the camping ground accommodates. During the very busy New Year period the maintenance needs improvement and be prepared to wait in the line for shower or use the sink. We had some unforeseen issues with our car and we had to change our in and out dates many times before and during our stay; the staff was very nice and accommodating, even though it was a very busy period, what we were very pleased and thankful for. They had security controlling ins and outs and also around the grouns during the whole New Year cellebration; security personnel were very nice and effective always checking and acting to prevent any incidents. In summary, we felt welcome and had a very pleasant stay overthere. If we would be back? For sure.

Good family friendly campsite. Hot showers in a brand new complex which is easily accessible. Has bbq facilities $1 roughly 20 minutes cook time or free gas stoves inside. No cutlery or pots if that's what you were looking for. Highly recommend.

Disappointing we paid $25 each for a room with 6 beds that was like cell block H. The kitchen was very dirty. There should be signs ask people to clear up there mess and put a date on bags. Night before paid same price with Top ten in Fox Glacier it was like 4 star accommodation Lakeview 2 star but the views of the lake stunning.

Location is great especially if you don't have a car, but it is a bit expensive for what you get and can get quite busy. Cabins are ok but if you are not in a shaded spot it will get REALLY hot in summer. Staff wasn't very friendly. No free wifi (most places these days offer at least 100 or 250mb free). Bathroom wasn't that clean, it would be wise to put flyscreens on the windows to keep the bugs away as it makes the place filthy. Facilities are getting cleaned around 6pm which is quite annoying as it is when most people check in. We weren't told that there was two bathrooms for women, so I walked in the only one I knew of in the evening and it was closed for cleaning. I walked in to ask the cleaner if there was another bathroom, and was just told very rudely "closed for cleaning! Closed for cleaning!". The place was very busy and quite noisy at night, with young people partying until late. I wouldn't stay there again, there are better campgrounds in and around Wanaka.

Stayed here overnight for work with a workmate and found the place to be well layed out. Arrived late but the staff had left the key out for us. Stayed in a cabin and used the central toilets and showers. Everything was clean and tidy.

Beautiful ground and great view of the lake. My 3 year old son loved the play ground and shaddy tent spot... Perfect for a nap in the afternoon. Minus directly from him: Yucky kitchen! I have to admit that the worse kitchen we had during this camping hopping trip. Dirty and sticky countertop and smelly fridge. It's a shame because the kitchen is spacious and have a lot of potential.

This camp is well located to the town and those who don't like a long walk. It's got good views of the lake from one side and boasts all the amenities you'd expect in a camp this pricey...but there are plenty of cons to make that redundant. For example, we had a Traveller in his van pull up by us, stay another night without paying, invite his two friends to sleep in the van while he slept on the grass and took a piss next to our tent. There is a noise curfew at 11 which most people abide by, however if you're drinking and laughing as loud as you can, that's ignored. Bottles can be thrown into the bins at any time of the night too. The kitchen is a small space of chaos where more travellers will use up all the power sockets in one go, they won't clean the tables and the fridges are always packed so don't count on storing anything...if you did, it'll be stolen and eaten. $80 for two nights gets you a tent spot, you'll need to pay for wifi and washing though. (The wifi reaches about 10m). I also hope you like kids...there are hundreds running riot here. There is also no limitation on tent sizes, so even if you book one space, don't worry, you can bring your house. Saying all that, where else are you gonna go in Wanaka?

Decent room for groups, nice communal shower (hot water works really good), nice kitchen, amazing views, 10 mins walk to shops.

An average site in a good location in Wanaka, not far from the lake. It's a fairly large site with plenty of room, but slightly dated. The communal facilities were OK, but the bathroom was a bit of a bug cemetery in the mornings and could have been cleaner. WiFi is available but is paid for. You can easily walk to town from here if you fancy a drink, as they have a strict no alcohol policy on site.

Stayed at a powered site , really enjoyed this place! Great facilities , so close to town , great views , found a extra bonus being right across from the play ground 😀

The cabins have only one power point and a low wattage light bulb. Not particularly cheap, but the owners are doing a major upgrade so the communal bathroom and kitchen facilities are excellent.

Great holiday park for families. Ammenities are good and clean. Plenty of space for bikes,games of cricket etc. Only a 5min walk from town and sheltered from most of the wind.

Ok campground, the dumpstation is a public one outside the gate, that was full and overflown last time we were there. Other than unpleasant dumping experience, this campground is quite comfortable and convenient.

Marika (the admin) was so lovely, friendly and helpful - made the first 10min at the park already a good experience. The main common area is MASSIVE and super well kept. Sooo going back there again if i can.

Room and facilities felt dated and the heater in the main living area of the tourist flat isn't really sufficient to warm the room.

Große Anlage mit verschiedenen Unterkunftsformen. Wir hatten eine Delux Kabine gebucht für 2 Personen. Die Größe war überschaubar, da ein Doppelbett und ein Hochbett darin standen. Der Tisch war in die Ecke gequetscht, sodass daran nur 1 Person sitzen konnte. Bad und Küche direkt in der Nähe und aktzeptabel sauber. Leider gab es gar keine Küchenutensilien zum Kochen. Die musste man an der Rezeption leihen (50$ Pfand) aber überraschender Weise auch bezahlen (10$). Darüber war ich verwundert und auch verärgert, da wir die Sachen für 1 Mahlzeit gebraucht haben. Es gab zu wenige Sitzmöglichkeiten in der Küche und auch draußen. + Kühlschrank im Zimmer + Sehr bequeme Matratzen
