Cuba Street is an iconic and prominent street in the capital city of New Zealand, Wellington. The Cuba precinct is Wellington's cultural centre. The street is famous for its Bohemian nature and style. It also has scores of cafés, restaurants, record shops, bookshops, and charity shops. Sometimes, there are aspiring artists busking on the side walks. It's due to its quirkiness that makes Cuba Street the most popular tourist destination in Wellington. As you stroll along the street, you will come across the Bucket Fountain. Can't miss it.

Cuba Street in Wellington New Zealand is one of the prominent and iconic streets in the city. Between Dixon Street and Ghuznee Street there is a pedestrian mall. I guess the best time to visit would at night when the lights from the various bars, restaurants are on. There are some very interesting sights in the street such as the colourful water feature. Definitely we'll worth a visit.

Loved cuba street. Variety of shops, some a bit qwerky, some expensive but great cafes there

Small, handy carpark in Cuba Street opposite Kaffee Eis, close to Army Surplus. It's ad claims that it is cheaper to park there for the day than on the street and this could be true. Parking rates start from $3, earlybird is $18.
It is located less than half a block north of the Ghuznee Street-end of Cuba Mall (where many of the eateries eg. Sal's, Top Kitchen, Hotel Bristol, are based). Look for the old, distinctive buildings at / near the intersection here which will act as landmarks if you're new to the area (cf. my pics).
