Great spot. Can get busy so arrive early. Toilets are right there. Shops just a short walk away. Great bays to walk along. We will return

Lovely spot, only 3 spaces between the permit signs so we were lucky to get the last one fairly early afternoon. Great fish & chips a 5 minute walk away.

The view and beach is stunning a beautiful destination in summer. Certified Campervans 2 night’s stopover in a prime location just on the Island View Reserve.

Stupidly the council has closed the toilet 🚻

+ : Wonderful spot. Only 4 places. The sunrise is wonderful. Directly from the sea, the sun goes up in front of you.

Close to beach. 3 parks or more depending on vehicle sizes. Quite lovely spot.

there are 4 places for camper vans - need to be early... perfect location at a great beach.

Right on the beach, good toilets, and good of the council to provide this place for campervan.

(Translated) By the beach, due east with a magnificent sunrise. The toilet is next door, and there is a (cold) shower. There is room for 5 vans if people park properly. (Original) Au bord de la plage, plein est avec un lever de soleil magnifique. Les toilettes sont juste a coté, et il y a une douche (froide). Il y a de la place pour 5 vans si les gens se garent correctement.

(Translated) A wonderful free campsite, with everything you need as a self contained camper. There is a nearby toilet with cold water showers outside and direct access to the sea. We found this to be one of the nicest free camping sites in New Zealand. (Original) Ein wunderschöner freier Campingplatz, mit allem was man als Self Contained Camper benötigt. Es gibt eine Nähe gelegene Toilette, wo außerhalb Kaltwasser Duschen sind und einen direkten Zugang zum Meer. Wir fanden das dies einer der schönsten freien Campersites in Neuseeland ist.
