L.I have been meaning to write this review for months & have finally got around to doing so.
Norfolk is the cleanest, friendly motel motor park I have ever stayed out. I have stayed many times over the years some for short stays sometimes for up to three weeks.Kim (the owner) is so considerate and nothing is ever too much trouble. If you need a quick comfortable stay or a long term stay check out the Norfolk Motel as very secure all the facilities, you even might get a morning cappuccino like I did.
J.At Norfolk you'll find great hosts you'll want to get to know! Offering superior hospitality in the Far Nth! This park is spic & span and neat as a pin! True hospitality and attention to the important things to make your stay as comfortable as can be - home away from home! Go Kim!!

K.We had an amazing family holiday in the Far North and our base was Norfolk Motel & Campervan Park. Our unit was neat as a pin, the family pool was fabulous, the owner was friendly and welcoming and her knowledge of the area as second to none. The facilities on offer were fantastic and made our stay even better. We look forward to staying with you again Kim and would recommend your place hand on heart to anyone.
T.We stayed here a few months back now and what a great stop over if you’re travelling to the far north. It is only a little over an hour to get to the cape. It’s situated back from the road and is very close to the awesome Bakerman Cafe where we ate brekky and got lunch to take away with us. Definitely one of the cleanest motels we’ve stayed in and Kim the host is so lovely and welcoming with a great knowledge of the area. We will be back again and again when we finally get Covid under control and I have no hesitation in giving this motel a 5 out of 5. Thank you Kim for your outstanding hospitality and I hope people are treating you with the kindness you deserve 😊

R.Our family stayed at the Norfolk Motel & Campervan Park for a week in the family Motel Unit. It was the cleanest Motel unit we have ever stayed in. The owner was very helpful and had great knowledge of the area, and a great person. The whole property was very clean and tidy. We all loved the pool. A great finish to everyday. Awanui was an absolutely fantastic location to base ourselves in to see the sites of the far north. Baker Man was a great cafe just across the road, great morning coffees and lovely food.

A.I really liked it here. The facilities were clean and tidy. There was a kitchen sink outside for your dishes... washing machine and dryer to use with a small fee, and a kitchen that had microwave, toaster, jug and fridge/freezer. It also has a bbq area and a clothes line.

C.We spent one night with our small camper van. The woman at the reception was very friendly. The whole place was extremely tidy and clean, especially the toilets and showers. We used the outdoor gas cooker which was very convenient for us. The night was quiet and we kind of felt like staying on a 5 star camping ground. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stay!

B.Kim is amazing. She went out of her way to help us. Clean showers with a dividing shower curtain so our clothes did not get wet. There is a chair in the shower cubicle to help keep clothes dry. Toilets very clean. Property well maintained. Lovely to listen to the birds calling. Happy to recommend

Tolets and showers were so clean and well maintained. The hole place is well looked after. 💜 the bbq area is perfict for you summer bbqs and it was nice to stay somewhere and fell safe. I could relax knowing my son was somewhere safe. thank you for having me and my whanau and we will be back. My son could not get enough of that pool :)

P.We stayed here beginning of December 2018 in a campervan (2 adults, 2 small kids). There are only a few sites (hard and grass surface), however, you will not miss anything here! There is a nice little pool, a well maintained playground for the kids and clean toilets and showers with no time limit on the hot water. We can definitely recommend this campground without compromise.
We also would like to mention Kim, who is a truly fantastic host. She really takes the extra time to make sure you will be comfortable and able to use all the facilities that are available during your stay. She also helps you with tour bookings (even last minute) and has great connections with local partners. This is very useful if you plan to make the trip up to Cape Reinga via 90 Mile Beach.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit NZ in the future.
Q.Kim is a wonderful hostess providing a very well managed and clean holiday park. The beautiful swimming pool area was a real bonus. We stayed two nights in a caravan site. Kim was a pleasure to meet and generously passed on her extensive knowledge of the area. We highly recommend the facilities.
D.My husband and I stayed in this beautiful place for several months in between homes and we can't say enough about how fantastic the owner/manager is. It was a home away from home with cleanliness, friendliness and just out right comfortableness. We have recommended the Norfolk to friends, family and acquaintances and anyone looking for a great place to stay.
We are very grateful to the owner for keeping the happy campers happy even when the obnoxious campers came a calling, and we found it hard to believe that some people just couldn't find it in themselves to enjoy their stay.

N.It was a lovely motel and the lady working there was unreal. The power went out for just like 10min but she made sure we knew what was happening and gave us a candle so that we had light if we needed it. We only spend there a night but would definitely go back. Highly recommend this motel to anyone passing by. 💜

C.Kim is such an amazing host and an absolute treasure. I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Norfolk a couple of times now and would not consider staying anywhere else when in the far north. Kim goes above and beyond and is very friendly. She keeps the rooms and grounds in an immaculate condition. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars from me.

From the moment we arrived, down the impressive driveway, where the motel and campervan site sits well seated back from the road and screened by beautiful hedging and native plants, we were warmly greeted by Kim. Her smile, knowledge and warm welcome were much appreciated after a long drive. We booked in and booked a tour at the same time. Her knowledge of the area and local amenities is extensive, enabling us to find precisely what we needed. The swimming pool was a welcome sight after a long drive and was used immediately. The facilities are excellent and well maintained. The only sad part was we wished we had more time to spend here, definitely recommend a visit. Thankyou for the pleasant and memorable stay.
C.Immaculately clean and tidy campground and motel. Quite small but that means it's really nice and peaceful as there are no big groups and and it backs onto some farmland and has only a little bit of noise from the road. Host very friendly and with a small number of sites there's lots of facilities per camper and no chance of having to wait to get your turn in the showers eccetera
L.AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Kim is so easy to deal with and is full of wonderful ideas to do around the area. I have since been up multiple times and will keep going back, Kim remembers me every time and no matter how busy she is she stops to catch up. K.property and grounds are always kept in immaculate condition. Staff are wonderful and easy to deal with. Good location close to local ammenities makes being away from home easy. VERY CLEAN!!! Covid-19 never had a chance here.

S.The staff is really friend and helpful. She has recommend us a few place to eat and buy. The shared bathroom and toliet are clean and well managed. If you happen to go there in a rainy day, just be careful the outside is flooded and wet.
K.right from the get go, the customer service couldnt be better, staff suggested local hotspots and things to do. i was amazed with the cleanliness of the room. there is a playground, plenty of space for outdoor games and the pool was as clear as a pool can get. fantastic place and fantastic people.

S.We booked in to charge our electric cars. They were very friendly and helpful. We paid the full day rate so we could use all the amenities while we charged our cars. As Kaitaia doesn't have a fast charger yet (at time of writing) this is an important link for EVs with smaller batteries (Nissan LEAF, Hyundai Ioniq, BMW i3) who want to travel further north to visit Cape Reinga.
The toilets are clean. There are showers and wifi. There are some nice cafes a short walk down the road.

We had a lovely stay here. Everything (toilets, showers, sinks) could not be cleaner. There is an outdoor gas cooking place and a barbecue station, waterboiler, microwave, toaster. Very kind owner.
We originally planned to to visit Reinga Cape with our campervan the day after our arrival. Then we decided to book a tour withe Harrison Cape runner. We were able to book the tour right in Norfolk Motel. And in the morning we were picked up at our stay. We were allowed to park our campervan within the fenced motel area during the tour. After the tour we were dropped out in the motel again. We had a great day and were glad to do it this way. We had no worries about parking.
I would do it this way again.

K.Norfolk Motet & Campervan Park is an ideal park on your way from or to Cape Reinga. It is a small but clean park with all the facilities you need for a night like power, warm shower and dump stations. You can use the kitchen or eat in the nearest village of Kaitaia
K.Incredibly wonderful motel manager who was very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Amenities are also in very good condition. Not far from Kaitaia and on the way to Cape Reinga.
P.Thought it was a bit expensive for the level of facilities. Shower in our unit was only just functional. Wanted to re arrange our booking but a bit inflexible. Other wise very clean and tidy.
