Highly recommend for boxing sessions! Jake coaches the fundamentals of boxing in a way that is easily understood and implemented. With learning any new skill it can be overwhelming but Jake always has a way of communicating and simplifying techniques. The training sessions are always fun and an awesome balance of challenging the mind and body.

Jake is more than a fitness trainer, Jake is a fitness educator and that makes all the difference to success. He is able to give you the "why" so that you really understand how to make the difference to your technique. He is patient, understanding, adapts his training to what you like. Jacob is an awesome boxing trainer, he tailors his classes to everyone's experience and mixes it up with technical, movement and combinations. He works well with each person in the group giving helpful tips and is always willing to demonstrate again if needed. Classes are fun but you also learn a lot and come away with a good sweat up. Jake is the best! I came to him looking for someone who could offer me a technical approach to boxing, rather than just a fitness class. And he is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. He is very patient and kind, but works you super hard. I leave every session with a bright red face, exhausted, but feeling like I have been listened to and my needs catered to. Definitely recommend. Jake 100% goes above and beyond for his clients.

Jakes boxing class is fun yet intense! . He gives clear instructions, alternative exercises if you are injured so that you can participate with the drills without aggravating your current injury, gives constructive feedback about your form and technique so that you can perform the skills properly and encourages his participants throughout the class. Jake takes our Empowered Youth group for boxing who are teens that are at risk and have experienced hardships, he is fantastic with them and they respond well to him, they are motivated for training and they show up every week. This has been a game changer. Highly recommend!

Trained with Jake for over a year while I was living in New Zealand, and I have nothing but praise for him as a coach.
Started as a total beginner and with his guidance, became confident enough to continue training when I left New Zealand for work.
He's patient, but makes sure that you are putting in the effort when it's go time.

I know Jacob for some years now and I still remember my first Box'n Burn classes back in 2015. He's an amazing teacher and pushes you to give at least 120%. Every time when I was like "ok, Im done, cant move a muscle for a week" he somehow managed to find my hidden energy reserves. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to achieve personal goals but lack the motivation, skills or routine. Cause he'll bring it all along and make you feel proud of your own progress.
