When I joined the gym, I didn't know what kind of exercise was right for me, so I tried various machines and classes, but I wasn't sure if that was the correct answer for my goals.
Each session with Mikiko has a different menu, and it is adjusted to my physical condition and mood of the day. Mikiko will push you to your limits but she won’t overdo it.
I always look forward to my sessions with Mikiko, not just the content of the training, but also talking about everything that happened in my daily life,
Mikiko is not concerned only with my body but also my mental fitness, so I feel that my body and mind have become healthy with Mikiko’s training.
Meeting Mikiko has changed my life for the better, and I’ve continued my sessions with her even during my pregnancy. I am always grateful for her help!

I went to Mikiko when I was just getting back in the fitness journey. I was studying pretty hard at the time and found it difficult to focus on my physical well-being. Ultimately I wanted to lose weight and set up good habits that would last long term.
18 months later and I'm still with Mikiko! She was super attentive to my goals and was happy to adjust programs based on my needs at the time. After having injured myself from bad PT trainer for two years, I developed a severe trauma when it came to workout and my body was getting worse. I took courage to have a session with Mikiko after pain in my body worsened. Mikiko understood immediately where my problem was in our first free consultation and she has given me so much knowledge and information justifying my trauma and pain. After the first session, I knew I would be okay to trust her and since then, my body has gone through extensive rehab. session with her gaining so much strength and control over my own body. I go to Lesmills for personal training by Mikiko 45minutes a week.
I used to have stiff shoulders and neck due to lack of exercise.
I get sick when I exercise hard.
So Mikiko guides me below.
First 20 minutes machine exercise and then 45 minutes flexible exercise. After the class, my body becomes lighter and I feel better.
She makes a training menu to suit my physical condition on that day.
I enjoy every time without getting tired, because it is a different menu every time.

I was once struggle at my workout; just because I dont know which equipment should I use, which part of my body should I work on. Randomly(and luckily ) I saw one PT training a lady at the gym and it looked more fun than usual exercise. So I contacted that trainer, and it became one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. Mikiko is different and unique from other trainers I had before. She studies my body structure , my habbits, my career, my routine, and even the way I eat; then she designs the program for me and it will only work for me best. Training with her change my mindset that being skinny doesn’t mean healthy. And with the programme she sets for each , it doesn’t get easier but I see myself get stronger both physically and mentally.

Been training with Mikiko since June 2020 and I have not once regretted this. I came across her online about a year ago and as I discovered more about herself, her journey and passion I really wanted to meet in person and learn from her - so finally did after lockdown.
My primary goal was posture correction. From day one Mikiko has assessed and thoroughly explained my body habits, weak muscles, our plans and more. During each session she recognises any new exercise achievement you make - whether it's big or small - and floods you with compliments, using the photos she takes to explain in detail what was good & why. She is very patient, I am quite a forgetful person but she reminds me each time (about exercises, nutrition, how to stretch etc) and even adds more information to it. Needless to say she is also very friendly.
This is my fourth month and it is great to see the changes myself. I have received comments from friends and colleagues about how my posture has significantly improved. (one said I even look taller! :D)
TLDR; best instructor ever, highly recommend working with her.

I've been training with Mikiko for years! Her style is not like anyone else and makes you feel comfortable on every level. Some of the things (among many other things) I've learnt from Mikiko is confidence and acceptance. Everything else follows once you get into that mindset :)

After being unable to exercise for nearly 2 years with a lower back injury I started training with Mikiko at LesMills to get me back into shape. Given the complexity of my injury and weaknesses I developed, I needed a skilled trainer who could ease me back into it. I feel lucky to have found Mikiko (a Level 3 trainer) who has helped me do this without risking a repeat injury. She has done this by understanding my general condition, reading my MRI, and talking to my physicians. We then took a careful approach to our sessions focusing on rebuilding core & general strength. This has been through balanced & targeted exercises, and when required massage and focused stretching. I highly recommend Mikiko for someone is a similar position. Even better – go see her before you have an injury. If you work in office like me, prevention is a far better goal to have. Look after your body (particularly your back) and don’t leave it too late. Go see Mikiko!

I started working with Mikiko when my kids (28 and 24) and I , having had some great hiking adventures in Oman, thought it would be a cool thing to do to “climb” (it’s actually a rather long but very high altitude hike) Mt Kilimanjaro. At age 68, I was in reasonable condition, but I felt it would take much more than that as I began training 7 months before the date of the expedition. Mikiko structured our twice-weekly personal training sessions to help with some of the less-considered aspects of conditioning, which she nevertheless assured me would be essential to preparing myself for the challenges ahead. We worked primarily on legs and core in one of the sessions, and upper-body and core the other, each of them concluding with a series of cardio exercises which would assure my complete and utter exhaustion by session’s end.
She alternated the types of exercises we’d do at each session, always explaining the target areas of the body and the aspect of trekking which would be assisted by the work. The variety of the sessions kept them interesting and challenging, and we could track the improvement in my conditioning. She gave me a great amount of confidence that we were making tangible improvements in a number of critical areas.
When I left for Africa in December, she expressed confidence in the improvement in all aspects of my conditioning. When we were on the trek, it was demanding, but I felt well prepared for the challenges. On several occasions, most memorably when we were hiking down a trail which had become a waterfall in the driving rain, I was able to catch and support myself with the walking sticks when my footing gave way; instead of tumbling down the canyon, I said to myself “thanks Mikiko”. We summited, and I think I was the oldest climber to make it to the top that week, but as Mikiko always says to me, “age is just a number”.
When I returned, after a month of rest and relaxation, I got back into the training regimen, feeling that it had made a tremendous difference in my well-being and quality of life, and I hope to continue on with her for many more years.

始める前は疲労感が常にある状態で起床時にはとくにひどい疲労感があった。姿勢の悪さも気になっていたが姿勢を良くしようとしても腰が痛くなり続かなかった。
そんな中、mikikoさんのプログラムがあるとTwitterで知り、考え方や指導方法に元々興味を持っていたため参加することにした。
セッション中の雰囲気としては和やかなかんじでそれぞれが置いてかれないよう配慮されていたり、それぞれがじっくりと自分自身と向き合うことができる環境であった。
終わってみての感想としては、とにかくすごい、の一言。疲労感がなくなったのはもちろん、二重顎やくまがなくなったり、気持ちが明るくなったり、睡眠の質が良くなったり想像の上をいく効果を実感している。オンラインだが常に一人一人に寄り添ったサポートで近い距離感で相談することができた。また与えるだけでなく、これから長く自分自身と自分が向き合えるよう考える機会をたくさんくださり、Programが終わったあとも生き生きと過ごせるよう構成されていた。
Mikikoさんの手厚い分析・知識量・楽しい会話、Programのほんわかした雰囲気、無理のないprogram内容がすごく好きだった。あっという間の8週間でした。またやりたい!
変わったとかんじるところはとくに後ろ姿!写真で見るとまるでパーソナルに1年は通い詰めたかのようになっていた。運動ほぼしてないのに。
あとは二重顎がなくなったこと、朝すっきり目覚められるようになったこと、悩みを引きずらなくなったこと。
毎日仕事で忙しく辛いと感じてる人、痩せなきゃいけないと感じてる人、疲れやすい人にとくにおすすめ。あとは気分が沈んでる人も。
