If you are thinking of signing up with Kate at Pumped Fitness, just do it.! You'll have no regrets. Kate is such a positive and inspirational person, she's an absolute joy. Every class we had was different, and catered to all the fitness levels in our group.
We are coming to the end of our 100 day challenge, and I'm overwhelmed at how much my fitness and well-being have improved. I can only say a massive thank you to Kate and everyone I've met at Pumped for their kindness and support. When I started at Pumped, I could barely do 1 push up , now I do multiple reps every day!

I joined the Pumped family this year, and I wish I had done this years ago. Kate is a fantastic trainer, she is highly skilled and nothing is ever too much trouble. She knows how to get the very best out of you, even when you don't know how! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending anyone who is looking to improve their fitness and well being. Kate is a wonderful person and trainer who has helped me achieve so much in these last 2 years. I was struggling to run 100m without panting when I started and now I am training for my second half marathon event. She will guide, support and push you to go beyond what you think you are capable of. She just have the skill to unlock your inner power to achieve your goals and beyond.

Update from my review below: After moving overseas with my family almost 2 years ago I have now had the opportunity to train with Pumped via distance training. Both training in person at Pumped and via distance have both been amazing and I wouldn't have stuck with it if it wasn't for the outstanding support the trainers give. Kate has created a no judgement, supportive and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to make exciting goals and stick to them. I definitely recommend Pumped!
I joined Pumped just over a year ago and it was one of the best decisions I have made! I have 2 young children that keep me busy and had no energy, was completely unfit and generally just feeling 'blah'. I met with Kate for a coffee and a chat and came away feeling motivated to achieve my goals. Over the year, with Kate's teaching, guidance and support I achieved all my goals and and now feel fitter, faster, stronger (and lighter!) and more confident than I have in my adult life. Kate and Rachel are amazing trainers and the Pumped Family atmosphere is truly awesome, filled with encouraging, lovely ladies all there to support each other on our journeys. My mother joined Pumped over five years ago and it truly changed her life. She had always struggled with her health and fitness, so she started training under Kate and she is now a completely different person! Pumped is such a warm and welcoming place to train, Kate is an amazing motivator and all of her clients are such happy and friendly people to exercise with. I joined the Pumped family late last year as part of a team for an eight week challenge. I absolutely loved it! I found the way the challenge was set up was extremely motivating for someone like me, who is used to joining a gym, getting bored after a few weeks and giving up. I decided to join Kate’s 100 day challenge in January and have reached the half way mark today. I highly recommend this challenge to anyone! My fellow 100 day challengers are motivational, and supportive and it feels like we are a team encouraging each other to carry on through the challenge despite what life throws at us. On top of that you have Kate the owner of Pumped pushing us to our limit on circuit nights and arranging exercise meet ups outside of the gym such as the St Martins stairs and Run to Remember. She’s an inspirational leader and is a great motivator.
If you’re looking for a small group of amazing encouraging athletes of all ages and fitness levels with no judgement, Pumped is the perfect place 💪

Joining pumped was the best decision I ever made. Kate is truly one of the most kind hearted, passionate enthusiastic people you will ever meet! She doesn't just train you as a job she genuinely cares about each and every individual and has a special connection with everyone she trains. Kate is not only a trainer she is also a friend, therapist and life coach. Through my trainings with Kate not only have I achieved weight loss but also confidence, self worth and an overall happier wellbeing! Kate always encourages me to achieve more and when you don't believe in yourself she believes in you! She makes herself available through text 24/7 for extra support when needed! The great thing with pumped is not only do you get personal trainer you also get introduced to a whole new family all at different stages of their journey but able to support and encourage one another, I have meet so many inspiring individuals and made so many great exercise buddies! I've been training with Pumped for three years. I've just completed my third 100 day challenge and improved in all areas of my fitness. The trainers at Pumped are motivated and do everything in their considerable power to ensure that you are motivated too in order to achieve whatever your goals may be. Pumped Personal Training and Kate Lugtigheid saved my life! Just over 2 years ago I decided that I needed to make a change in my life, I wasn't happy. I first met Kate through netball and knew she was a dedicated & committed person. I had previously tried going to the gym but this didn't seem to do anything for me as I didn't have the drive to push myself. The difference between going to the gym and seeing a PT like Kate is that one-on-one experience. Not only does Kate push you to beyond what you thought was your limit, she helps you set realistic goals, pushes you to become a better person and works behind the scenes coming up with different ways to help you achieve anything you set yourself to do!
Since joining the Pumped Family, I have taken part in two of Kate's "100 Day Challenges" and completed both of these to 100%, taken part in the nationwide Catch Fitness 20 Week Challenge, in which I was successful in winning my category, I have completed 4 half Marathons and continuing to knock time of my previous run and I have lost 30KGs, along with attending fortnightly PT sessions and classes that Kate runs at her studio.
I am now the fittest, fastest and healthiest I have ever been. I am a role model to not only those new to Pumped, but also to my young nephews and niece who see me working hard to achieve my goals. Pumped Personal Training saved my life and without a doubt it was the best decision I have ever made in contacting Kate and I guarantee it will be the best decision you will ever make too!

My fitness journey has always been about zero commitment, highly-dependant on appetite suppressant, crash dieting, signed up to a gym and never turn up again after a few classes. But it finally took a leap after I joined Pumped in October 2017, when I was looking for a personal trainer to improve the body that I have mistreated for the longest time.
I am very lucky to have discovered Pumped and met Kate, the extraordinary trainer who is very sincere, caring and dedicated. She helps me to achieve my goals progressively, and without realising, I have achieved far beyond the initial goals that I thought was impossible. I learn to enjoy working out, embrace outdoor exercising, and I am now at my fittest and lightest than I’ve ever been (without taking any pills!). My friends and family are so amazed with how much my lifestyle has change in such a short time.

I joined Pumped because I was unfit and wanted to lose weight. I had tried for years on my own to get weight off with limited success. Meeting Kate and the Pumped Ladies has been the best thing I have done for myself in a long, long time. Kate is motivational, caring and the loveliest person. I have lost 10kg, developed muscles I didn't know I had and am stronger and better for it. Being a GCC (hint well past 50) I have so enjoyed being part of a group of young women who are all so welcoming, encouraging and I have gained new friends through this. Pumped is more than a gym, more than a session with a PT (although that is a highlight) - you become part of a family of supportive and interesting people.

Joining Pumped was one of the best things I've ever done! I've lost a lot of weight and increased my fitness so much. I found Pumped & personal trainer Kate Lugtigheid after a binge on chocolate last Easter. Under the guidance of Kate I've achieved more than I thought possible completing the Catch Fitness 20 week Challenge with success in two categories. I am currently completing the 100 Day Challenge. This is a great programme which has been fabulous for me for maintaining the progress made. Every day is a an exercise day but ranging from 1 minute of cardio and 1 rep of 5 different strength exercises up to 100 minutes of cardio and 100 reps of each of the strength exercises. The exercise challenge can be coupled with 100 other lifestyle challenges, one of which to be completed each day. We have weekly circuit classes for the participants. Kate is encouraging and supportive with daily feedback on our accomplishments and Pumped members are equally supportive of each other and celebrate each other's successes. Kate has developed & cultivated a fabulous friendly environment in which members enjoy working out together both in and outside of the gym. Kate thoroughly deserved her Personal Trainer of the Year title and together with her partner Chris & other trainer Rachel are worthy recipients of the Small Exercise Facility of the year. If, like me, you are looking to make a change then I thoroughly recommend you give Kate a call. It has been the most positive experience for me and I'm so much happier as a result!

Ever since I joined Pumped I’ve been getting fitter, smaller and happier. I’ve been doing things that I never thought I’d be able to do again. And I’ve made a whole bunch of new, fabulous friends!!
Kate has a great, holistic way to thinking about health and exercise. Her boxing and circuit classes are loads of fun and great for all levels. She always has a knack of texting you when you’re thinking about skipping a class or workout and motivating you to give it a go. I’m currently close to completing the 100 Day Challenge which has been both challenging (the clue is in the title) and rewarding. Kate is always challenging you to not only be better with exercise but in other aspects of your life too.
I have personal training with Rachel and LOVE IT! She creates a great supportive environment while pushing me to my limit. She encourages me to do things I’d never thought I’d be able to do while making the whole session fun. Her sense of humour makes time fly and you want to come back for more sessions. I’m completely spoilt for personal trainers now and cannot wait to see what she will make me do next!

I joined Pumped when I was looking for direction and motivation on my health and fitness journey. I cam across the 100 day challenge and instantly thought yes. This a decision I have never regretted and we are on day 93!
Right from the out set the support and inspiration from not just Kate, but the whole Pumped family(in particular my fellow 100 day challenge team mates) has been totally inspiring. Yes there have been speed bumps but these only make me more determined. I have done things I never thought I would having been encouraged to push myself. The results speak for themselves with my fitness level having increased considerably and by size decreased accordingly.
I have learnt to be the best I can be and not compare myself to others, we are all on our own personal journeys and I would highly recommend Pumped for anyone looking for guidance on their health and fitness journey.

I joined Pumped, when I finally realised I was not making it on my own. After years of trying to lose weight and get fit, I needed to have someone who could coach, teach, support and encourage me. I am happy to say this decison has saved my life. I have lost 45 kg and am now fitter and stronger than I have ever been, in my adult life. I am 53yrs old and it is a shame it took me this long to reach out for help. Kate Lugtiheid has nutured me through many battles and I have come through with a smile on my face. Her programmes, classes, personal PT sessions and postive support have lead me to the success I now have achieved with my health. She not only provides ongoing support and coaching, she teaches others to support each other. Kate at Pumped, is the whole package. She has a strong following of athletes, that support and look out for each other and you are never alone. I am just about to complete my second 100 Day Challenge with Pumped and I'm really pleased that I've done it. Its a great way to get back into exercising, or to push yourself further if that's what you need. You get to work at a level that it right for you while building up great habits and having the support of other awesome likeminded people. Kate and Rach are fabulous trainers who are there every step of the way and always have great advice or encouragement, whatever you might need. Pumped is a great place to go if you want to get something more but don't know where to start, I highly recommend it no matter where you might be on your health and fitness journey.

A self reflective journey of the 100 Day challenge. It teaches you about your own strengths and abilities while overriding your own discomfort.
At times you feel rejected by friends and family to join in your focus and direction. That's ok with me because I'm ok with the choice I've chosen to take both physically and socially. I have loved this journey of self love, self trust, self respect and self confidence.
To anyone who wants to get to know themselves a lot better I encourage you to participate in this challenge with Pumped. I am not going to say that it will be easy however the reward will be immense. Through the journey you will see the mirror of who you are and be amazed by the transformation. That is a self defining moment.
