I have been working with Carl for a year now and he is a fantastic personal trainer. Carl is very easy to get along with and he really invests in you as a person. His focus is on your holistic health (including diet, sleep, stress, etc), not just working you out in the gym. Training with Carl is the right balance of fun and a challenge, and he tailors each session to your needs - whether that be a stretch/ rehab day, or a push. I absolutely love training with Carl, he has genuinely changed my life.

I highly recommend Carl for anyone looking for a personal trainer in Wellington! Carl has a ton of experience and knowledge, and is great at working with complete beginners too. He makes every session fun, challenging and engaging while tailoring things to meet your needs. He’s got a great sense of humour and sessions with him always have me laughing. Would definitely recommend Carl to anyone who is looking to start or continue their journey with a personal trailer :)

Carl is a fantastic personal trainer - he is so supportive of me in my journey to reconnect with my body and functional strength. From a Physio background myself; I clearly recognise how well researched what we are exploring togeather is. The variety of calisthenics, dumbbell and mobility exercises are so engaging - Carl helps you feel comfortable pushing yourself.

My time working with Carl has been fantastic.
Carl himself is both knowledgeable and fun to work with. I never feel like I’m being judged, even when struggling with something that feels like it should be easy. Whatever level you start at is good and can only get better from there.
He’s also really understanding that “sometimes life happens” and stays encouraging, helping with the little things to try focus on each week to build up.
I especially enjoy the little games he makes out of certain exercises, explaining them with anecdotes of how he learned about them. It helps makes things fun, and before you realize it, you’ve already done a whole ton of exercises!
I definitely recommend working with Carl if you’re given the chance. Thanks again Carl!

Carl is professional, knowledgeable and fun to work with and has been helping me work on my goals of living without chronic back pain. He motivates me to continue working on it despite my acute allergy to effort and exercises. I don't know I could keep doing it without the ONI coaches. ONI coaches and moving more in general helped me more in 2 years than a decade and tens of thousands of dollars spent on physiotherapy, massage therapy and osteopathy. Thanks ONI and coach Carl!

I can highly recommend Carl for anyone looking for a professional personal trainer in Wellington. Carl has given me confidence to do a wide range of different exercises at the gym, with clear guidance on form and technique. He is very supportive and provides good motivation. I've been lucky enough to work with Carl since June 2020 and he has quite simply changed my life - for me he is the best personal trainer in Wellington! I came to him with my confidence at zero, having injured my knee just before lockdown and feeling pretty low about what my body could do. I immediately found Carl a warm and friendly person, who I clicked with and I knew that we would make a good team. Carl helped me to rehabilitate my knee and start to do things (like deadlifts, kettlebell swings and press-ups) that I never thought I would do. I've signed up for another year of personal training - that's how good he is, and I am excited to see what we can achieve together.
