We're really happy that we chose Chris as our wedding photographer. He is the perfect mix of relaxed and professional, which made everyone feel immediately at ease with him and this is evident in his photos - they feel really relaxed and natural. He spent considerable time with us prior to our day too to go over photo locations and also gave us great advice. Overall he went above and beyond, working tirelessly to capture the moment and meet our many requests with genuine enthusiasm, and we were over the moon with the results - beautifully processed photos and also a lovely slideshow with music. We can't recommend him highly enough!

Chris was absolutely fantastic as our wedding photographer! Not only were his photos absolutely stunning and exactly everything we had hoped for (and to be honest way more)! But his presence on the big day was easy going, professional and great with our kids. He went with the flow and captured the feel of the day perfectly. Chris managed to also capture such elegant photos, all in the “real moment” as they happened. We felt at ease with Chris and like he wasn’t even there allot of the time, so we had those special moments as a couple as well. I would highly recommend Chris to everyone!!

Chris was an absolute gem to work with and we got so much feedback from all of our guests. He has also given us the most beautiful gift of all - memories. The turn around from our wedding to getting our photos was unbelievably quick, which when your whole day is a blur - has meant the world. Chris is a great guy - fun, super professional, quick and helpful with his correspondence, and made the whole photography aspect of our wedding easy. We really appreciated that he took the time to arrange to meet us prior to our wedding to scope the venue, and run us through his plans for the day as well as took on what ideas we had and liked. On the day, he was around catching the best moments, but never in the way. He also managed the ‘rounding up’ of everyone after the ceremony for the photos we wanted - no easy feat! We love the photos we’ve received and are so impressed with the quality and his eye for great photo opportunities. We had a great time with him and couldn’t recommend him more.

Chris was recommended by another professional photographer as being very professional and good at his job. He was really lovely and genuine to work with and helpful discussing our day in terms of logistics when I wasn't very organised with planning when we first met over coffee. He was cooperative when it came to accommodating our wants and because we didn't want the photos to take up too big a portion of the day, he was super efficient and raced around very enthusiastically to get as many pics as poss in a short timeframe and generous with time taking lots of photos without us even noticing really. We were very happy with the results, he made a 41 yr old old with a toy boy husband who is 12 years younger look better than him so you can't really ask for much more than that...!!! Thanks Chris!! Chris took our wedding photos this year and we highly recommend him. We absolutely love the finished product. He was fantastic at communicating before and during the wedding. He listened to what we wanted and came up with some great ideas. Was keen to give anything a go. He was great at putting the groups together, but the spontaneous shots of people in the crowd are amazing. What was fantastic was how fast he had photos back to us. Chris is fantastic!

Choosing the right photographer has a huge impact on your special day! We could not have chosen better with Chris. From our first meeting we knew he understood us. He was the first photographer we met with and the only one - as we cancelled other appointments following this. We loved his natural style of photography and being able to capture the moment naturally - without you even noticing him there. Each photo so full of emotion taking you right back to your wedding day. We were both quite nervous about our photo shoot but this ended up being one of our favorite moments in the day. Chris is professional, accommodating, talented and energetic. He delivered above what was promised and I completely recommend him. I chose Chris because of his portfolios online; I loved the style of photos he took. I also assumed that the albums were cherry picked with only his favourite portfolios - which I now think was an incorrect assumption. When our turn came along, our (sneak peak) photos went up on the site just like everyone else’s. It was a difficult decision to invest so much of the wedding budget in photography. Our wedding was relatively small; we had the ceremony at a public park followed by a reception in a church hall. The amount of preparation and skill Chris returned was well worth it. My biggest concern was that he would not be well suited to giving guidance to two individuals who struggle to pose for photos. (His preference is to catch natural photos.) This was not something we needed to be worried about, as he gave us plenty of tips on how to hold ourselves when the time came (mainly for the bride – I think that is to be expected). After the big day, we had friends and family coming to comment on how great Chris was throughout the event, and commend us on our choice. When we received the photos, they were every bit as marvellous as we had hoped for. I didn’t want this review to be of his photo quality or style – see his website for examples of his work. Instead, what his website doesn’t show is that he was really a superb person to have there on the day. Chris was flexible with everything we discussed, and accommodated every request. He delivered above expectations, and was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional, met our needs, and was great at catching unexpected moments in the day.

We searched high and low for the "right" Auckland photographer to take some photos of our family at the beach (in time for Christmas presents!). Eventually we chose Chris because we liked his relaxed, documentary style of photography. He was super friendly from the start and bent over backwards to fit our shoot in so that we had time to get the photos made into beautiful photo books for the grandparents Christmas presents! We used Chris Loufte as our wedding photographer for our sunny Auckland wedding in mid July. Chris really eased our nerves with his experience and helped us work out what we forgot to plan. The day ran perfectly and we could just go about our business while he was busy in the background. He spent a lot of time to check locations so we could get the best photo's and had back up plans for rainy weather so we had at least one area of the wedding we could forget about. Chris shot our wedding on the 6th January 2017. Throughout the lead-up to the wedding he invested a lot of time in meeting with us and exchanging emails in order to get the best idea of what we wanted. On the day itself, he was extremely easy to work with - very kind, funny and chatty which put us all at ease. He clearly knows his stuff and knew how to get the best shots. He took many candid photos which we enjoyed, and managed to stay 'in the background' so to speak during our ceremony; we barely noticed that he was taking photos. Five Stars it most definitely not enough to rate Chris Loufte!! Planning a SURPRISE wedding, 30 days out from the wedding day, and from abroad is a challenge in itself! Booking and working with Chris was by far one of the easiest things to tick off the list... Here's why! Chris responds to every email within 24 hours (usually within the hour). He is extremely flexible in order to get to you and meet you. He asks you what you want - scouts locations, prior to your day, that meet your 'what you want' gains permission if need be to shoot at a location in order for your day to run smoothly! He is prepared!! (You know you have the best photographer when he grabs a ladder out of his boot, in order to get that shot)!! What ever you may expect, Chris will go far and beyond! Post Wedding - Unlike all the other wedding photography stories I have heard, Chris has stayed in constant contact with my husband and I, and kept us both up to date with the time frame of receiving the final product! TIME FRAME MET!!! The Final Product - The essence of the day, the love between my husband and I, the genuine happiness of family and friends has been captured in every shot! Chris has captured every precious moment that you know, will never be repeated. His ability to foresee how a moment will be reflected in an image and throw himself in every position in order to get the perfect angle for that moment blows my mind! I cannot rave enough about on how much we LOVED working with Chris and how grateful we are that he chose to be a part of our day! Phenomenal service, a fabulous human, spectacular end result! WOW! One of many words that describe our fabulous Wedding Photographer, Chris Loufte! Although Chris is based in Auckland he was happy to fly all the way to Sunny Nelson to provide us with the most magical photos that captured our perfect day!! My husband and I can not speak highly enough of Chris and his work. He was professional but friendly the whole time - right from our fist meeting through to the big day. He always put our desires first and then made it happen. Chris made us feel at ease in front of the camera and became "just one of the boys"! All our guests were impressed with how he instructed the photos and - credit to him - dealt with our grumpy priest!!
