I.I came across the Lot23 café/studio whilst taking a shortcut on foot, on my way to K'Rd, having just left my car for a service and WOF at the nearby and excellent Fredco Motors garage.
Since I like coffee and was was curious about the art they have on display, I asked for a long black in a large cup, with a bit of cold milk on the side. The coffee was apparently Brazilian. I am used to drinking Arabica. Well, the coffee they made for me was one of the nicest brews I have tasted in Auckland, and cost $4.00. Not bad. The art was a bit nouveau for my liking, though rather well done, I thought - though I am no real judge of art.
But that coffee- yum!
Highly recommended for the coffee alone.

coffee is as good as I remember from years back when we would crawl out of bed and drag ourselves around the corner for a strong espresso and hang out at Brazil Cafe with the other weirdos musicians, fellow junkies and freaks in the neighbourhood. its now an Indian restaurant.

T.A great place for coffee and a casual bite to eat for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. There is a sunny outdoor area and it has an overall cool vibe to it.
D.Relaxing place i went there for a musical event seating outside undercover cafe to order your coffee and pastry walk inside cafe down the corridors and into the studio where the event was taking place.big spacious studio with projector and screen .Amazing multi venue.
