Amazing!!!! Still buzzing months later! Everytime we look through our photos we are so happy we spent money on such a memorable experience. Worth every penny and more. The team are incredible, talented and extremely accomodating - no idea is too wild. Everyone at the wedding commented on how they just fit in and they didn't even realise they were there. Would reccomend 100 times over.

We had the most incredible wedding photos with Amber. She was professional, a great communicator and flexible to work with. She took the time to meet with us, and find out what was most important to us so that when we got to the day, everything ran perfectly. Our photos are everything we dreamed of, and we've had so many compliments from friends and family. Amber got such gorgeous candid photos, in a short amount of time, so we could spend most of the night partying with her and our guests! Would definitely recommend choosing Perspectives

Where to start- I don't know that we will be able to do justice to Isaac's incredible work but we will certainly try but we think the photos attached probably speak for themselves! Isaac was like a well oiled machine on the day- he seemed to just be everywhere all at once capturing all the special moments as they happened. We have hundreds of photos to remember our special day yet at the time it didn't feel like we were being constantly photographed and forcing smiles! It was very real & natural. The beautiful landscape of where we were married was captured sooo well & we are so thankful to have such a beautiful collection of photos to remember the day. Beyond the photos Isaac was such a pleasure to be around for the day, such a fun, positive & energetic person. We were also blown away by the beautiful gift we received in the mail which was completely unexpected. Please consider Perspectives for your special day! We promise you won't regret it!!!

We ended up planning a wedding at relatively short notice and when we reached out to Perspectives their communication and planning was fantastic. Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding day Amber, the photos were amazing and you were so easy to work with. My wife was super conscious about being on display - Amber made the whole process quick and painless for both of us... with great outcomes. She really was fantastic and I can't recommend her highly enough to do her justice.

We were privileged to have Amber and Jared at our wedding and to say they are amazing is a severe understatement. These guys are absolutely insane! Far out! We can't thank them enough for all their hard work especially given the challenges around capturing a wedding during the winter. Our day was jam-packed but they really went above and beyond and captured everything so beautifully and without being invasive either. It's as if they were invisible the entire day. We certainly didn't make it easy for them with things running behind schedule to begin with, but they were so adaptable and calm with Jared making the occasional quip to ensure we were relaxed too (and it worked!). We loved working with Amber before the reception as well; she was so likeable and made everyone feel super relaxed. It's clear from the outset why Perspectives is the best in the business. We cannot recommend them enough. They really are second to none!

Jared from Perspectives created the most incredible video of our wedding day. We are so thrilled with our highlights video, and in awe of Jared's talent. We have watched it so many times and love being able to share it with friends and family. The long form footage of the ceremony and reception speeches is great too and captures so much more than we expected. Jared was fantastic to deal with, easy going and really invested in creating something special for us. We look forward to watching it many times in the years to come!

To paint an accurate picture of just how great the Perspectives Team were to deal with, it makes sense to tell you what the most important considerations were for us, when we were choosing a Photographer/Media Team for our wedding. 1) We live in Australia and got married on Waiheke Island, NZ - so having suppliers that understood that and could effectively work with us in a different country/time zone was a must, because it means you likely need that little bit more support and guidance as you try to plan your wedding from a distance; 2) Vibe: Having suppliers that were relaxed and chilled to deal with was also important for us, because it can be a stressful time planning a wedding, let alone planning it from a different country. Having a relaxed, professional Media Team was an important consideration for us. More specifically, having a Team that was relaxed because they were professional and well prepared, as opposed to being ‘unfazed’ about our big day, was important to us. The one consistent piece of feedback I constantly received when we began planning our wedding was ‘Weddings are expensive. Save where you can but whatever you do, don’t skimp on the photographer – you’ll regret it!’ I would give anyone planning a wedding the same advice, because the pictures are what your kids and grand kids will see. From the outset, Issac, Jared and the whole Team at Perspectives we’re amazing to work with. We engaged Perspectives’ services for our Summer wedding on Waiheke Island, after finding them on Instagram (luckily). If you haven’t seen their work on Instagram, do yourself a favour – it really speaks for itself. Isaac’s approach to his photography immediately grabbed our attention – we loved the look of his work and we were sold on the quality of his photos first and foremost. The even more pleasant surprise was how great they all were to deal with. Because we live in Perth, Australia, it was so important to us that our wedding Service providers were professional, engaged & insightful. Perspectives were all of that and much more. Starting with our very first Skype meeting (circa) 6 months out from the wedding day, Perspectives were completely accessible to us via email & Skype throughout our planning process (even Skyping us on weekends), which lead to an in-person meeting 6 days prior to our wedding over coffee in Aucklands CBD. The guys really know their stuff which took the stress out of the process for us & they had some great, simple ideas/hacks for our big day that would enhance our photos and video. Isaac & Jared have done this hundreds of times before, so they really had a calming effect on us throughout our preparation, which gave us complete confidence in their experience and skills. On the day itself the Team were punctual, professional and almost invisible. It really felt like they weren’t there until they needed to be and that's clear from the amazing candid shots they were able to capture of our big day. Isaac also did an amazing job of corralling our 80+ guests for the long list of group photos we had requested. For our actual Wedding Photos (Bride & Groom only), Issac and Alex’s experience really shone through. They were clear in their directions, but not at all pushy or invasive. Again, it was like they weren’t there, until they spoke up and asked us for things or made us laugh for that perfect candid photo. Our pictures are amazing! We couldn’t be happier with how they came out. Isaac even found time to send through a brief photo slide show of our day, just a few days after our wedding day. We also received all of our photos (800+) while on our honeymoon a fortnight later – unbelievably quick! I know people who have had to wait up to 6 months for their pictures and video. We can't recommend Perspectives highly enough! The Perspectives Team were a pleasure to deal with and made a hugely positive contribution to our day! 6 out of 5 stars easily & worth every cent of their fee. Don’t think about it – just book them, you won’t regret it!

Great service, I highly highly highly recommend Perspectives Photo +Cinema!! We booked Perspectives not only based on their AMAZING portfolio alone, they are great people to work with. They are so professional, yet so approachable and laid back. They know a lot about the wedding industry and are more than happy to share tips and recommend awesome vendors too. Long overdue review! Jared’s creativity with our wedding highlight film was one of a kind! Both my husband and I loved it. Had heaps of fun and positive feedback from friends and families who have seen it too! Jared made it so unique and it was both so fun and moving every time we watch it (I have seen it so many times myself when we first got it)! We also loved the way Jared created our ceremony, first dance and speeches film! Jared was super easy to work with and lovely to have around! Thank you for getting to know us and using what you know about us to add into the creation of your cinematic films. After almost 6 months of planning a weeding overseas, the pandemic made us change plans to have a wedding here in NZ instead. Organising a wedding with 250+ guests at such short notice was no easy feat and the team at Perspectives made the process that much easier by being so responsive and proactive with their communications. They are all about capturing the best vibes and candid moments from the occasion on photo and film and boy did they deliver! The planning and execution was transparent and flawless plus their ability to capture the precious moments was very evident in their work. You don't really notice that they're there which is pleasantly surprising when you see the quality of the end results. These guys really know how to work with what they've got (and we had our outdoor ceremony interrupted by rain and wind!) and make everyone feel at ease! We can't thank Amber, Jared and Zahn enough for the amazing work they did for us and for the price you pay, it really is the best value you'll get. 11/10 recommend to anyone having their wedding or other special events!

We didn’t totally realise how lucky we were to have the Perspectives team at our wedding when we first booked them. When our plans changed (multiple times due to COVID) and we decided to have a small ceremony, they adapted with us and we really appreciated their flexibility, and prompt and clear communication. Amber and Jared’s passion for their craft was clearly evident from our stunning wedding photos and videos. The quality of these was particularly appreciated by our extended family and friends who were unable to be with us during our wedding. Amber and Jared managed to capture the essence of our Indian wedding spectacularly and our location shoots were better than anything we could have imagined! They made us feel at ease throughout our wedding ceremony and photoshoot. They also added multiple thoughtful touches throughout the weekend which went above and beyond. A huge thank you to Amber, Jared and Paul for their amazing work. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

This review is long overdue but Jarrod and the Perspectives team did an absolutely outstanding job of our wedding films, on Waiheke. They worked so well alongside our photographer, and were barely noticeable at the wedding. The finished result was better than we could have hoped for - a moving, beautiful capture of the day, with a highlights video and then long form films of each section. We are so happy we decided to film our wedding, particularly as we lost our Dad some time afterwards, so it is amazing to have his speech recorded on film for us and his grandchildren to see. Highly recommend the team at Perspectives for a beautiful job.

Amber from Perspectives Photo + Cinema was the photographer for my wedding. She is extremely down-to-earth, adaptable, creative in her own right, and her communication was friendly, clear and concise. She offers wonderful insight into the profession and really goes the extra mile for her clients by scouting unfamiliar territories for all the best shots. Amber didn't miss a beat, and becomes that hype woman you didn't think you needed, but you do! My Fiancē and I have nothing but positive experiences with Amber, and without a dealt, would recommend her for anyone that's looking for timeless, creative and unique photo experiences. We were so lucky that both our timetables happened to align, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Thanks again Amber! x

We cannot recommend using Amber and Zahn enough. We have spent the whole weekend looking at our photos over and over again and cannot get over how truly stunning they are. In the lead up to our wedding Amber was an amazing communicator and worked with us to understand what we wanted from our photos. She was an absolute professional and even scouted our venue. She had a plan of multiple photo locations which was a life saver on the day when one location was made unavailable to our venue. On the day Amber and Zahn were the best. They have a great working dynamic and both had a calming presence which made the experience so relaxed for us that half the time we forgot they were there. They also kept things moving and on time so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We had absolute trust in Amber and Zahn and they definitely delivered. You guys were an absolute dream to work with and we cannot thank you enough for capturing our day so beautifully!

Jared and Amber are the best investment for your wedding. Enough said. Every bride wants to look their best and Jared and Amber truely are the best people to make it happen. Not only do they produce exceptional results, they make the experience of going off and taking photos fun and relaxing (especially for someone like me who doesn't feel comfortable in front of a camera). I cannot rave about them enough and will forever recommend them. They are funny, warm, kind and absolute ninjas at the best of times. They are also the best communicators, when plans weren't going to plan, we knew we would have a photographer and videographer. Phenomenal photos and video and zero stress. It took one look at the Perspectives album (on display during our venue scouting) to make us fall in love with their work and decide there and then that this is how we want to remember our wedding. Amber and Jared were so attentive, professional, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Not only are they extremely good at what they do, they went above and beyond to make everything perfect like scouting out locations in the dark, lending me boots to spare my wedding shoes in muddy grass, and saving the day with a hair tie when my veil had a mind of its own! Along with Jay and Priscilla, they were like invisible photo video ninjas, capturing everything and everyone but so discreetly that many of the photos made me wonder how they managed to take them! Our photos are stunning, the videos make me cry with happiness, and our family and friends rave about how beautifully our photos and videos turned out. Let these guys capture your life milestones, you won’t regret it 🙌

Wow, wow, wow! After searching tirelessly for a wedding photographer and videographer we finally found what we were looking for! Their work stood out by a mile and immediately knew we had to choose Perspectives. Amber, Jared and their team were phenomenal! We were blown away! They made us feel at ease from day dot; laid back yet organized, funny, and so bubbly! They had full of ideas and tips for our big day. All our memories from the wedding day have been captured perfectly from start to finish. We felt that they really made the effort to get to know us and ensured that the photos and films of our wedding reflected our personalities which offered a really nice personal touch. PLUS the photos and films were edited super quickly!! Thank you so much guys!

We cannot recommend Isaac from Perspectives Photo + Cinema highly enough. His communication before, during and after our wedding was excellent. After much research, we chose to work with Isaac because we trusted him to capture our day naturally and to focus on raw, candid moments. He is calm, personable and professional - and has awesome fashion sense! We didn't want a photographer who would use lots of filters or drastically alter images so that they didn't accurately represent what it was actually like on the day, or someone who would spend lots of time directing us into poses. Isaac made us feel at ease and we were able to just be ourselves. We are completely in love with our photos and have already looked through them a million times to relive the best day of our lives. Numerous people have commented on Isaac's ability to capture a 'feeling'... the emotions and overall atmosphere of the day. Isaac went above and beyond in every way and we are so grateful for his positive energy and hard work. Thank you!

My now husband and I had the awesome team at Perspectives film our wedding day. Jared and Jola are super friendly, incredible people. They filmed our day but did it all candid, and we felt like they were just a part of the guests. We were extremely comfortable around them and it really shows on film because we're ourselves in the film. Their video of our wedding captured my husband and I PERFECTLY, we love the video SO MUCH! They are absolutely perfect people to work with, and would hire them again in a heartbeat! You cannot go wrong with them and I cannot recommend them enough!!

I highly recommend Isaac at Perspectives. We booked them based on their beautiful portfolio and because we wanted something creative and not too posed. I usually get quite stiff in front of the camera but Isaac made us feel very comfortable. He really helped us plan our day so that we weren't rushing too much and we got amazing location photos while still making it back in good time to celebrate with our guests. Isaac spent the entire day with us and our photos tell the story of the whole experience, which we love. Isaac worked really hard and we received sneak peeks within a week and the full set within 4 weeks, much faster than expected! We can't thank him enough :)

This is the only time in my life I’m mad at google for allowing only 5 stars out of 5 because really it’s been a 20 star out of 5 star photography and cinematography. Tim and I were recommended Perspectives via his sister who happens to travel the world and take amazing photos, so we had to hire these guys. Turns out my best friend in her high school days found Perspectives (10 years ago) and vowed to use them if she ever got married. Tim and I are now part of the Perspectives fan club, Prez and Vice Prez, self nominated. Jared Brandon does the filming on the day and he does same day edits. Who in their right mind would do something so complex and execute it so perfectly? Well Jared Brandon does. At 9pm at night during our reception at Mudbrick he had our highlight reel of our wedding day ready to go and it was honestly just the best to recap our day again with all our loved ones. Where do I even begin with our wedding photos? When Isaac sent us the photos, me and Tim felt so much joy and happy emotions seeing the photos. I believe when a photograph moves you to smile or feel something, it is truly done outstandingly. I am by no means a photographer but the composition, contrast, the variation of the photos is superb. I can not fault these guys, if anything Isaacs large biceps had distracted some guests but that’s really it. Best believe I will hire these guys again if I get married a second a time. (Haha jokes) (but really) worth every dime!

I can't recommend them enough, everyone has been asking who our photographer/videographer was! We've been to a few weddings already with perspective as the photography team, and the photos they take never disappoint. What we loved most what that they were able to capture the moment and emotions of the day. Nina and I were both very nervous on the wedding day, but they made it very comfortable for us - they were very accommodating to our wedding schedule (hectic!) and was being patient with us. I can't thank them enough for capturing one of our most important days in our life, when we go back to look at our photos/videos again - all those emotions we felt on the day come rushing back. My husband and I cannot recommend Perspectives enough! We want to thank Jared and Jola for capturing our day beautifully. Before our wedding, communication was very comfortable, easy and quick. The team was able to answer all our questions, ease any concerns and accommodate our needs. Jared, is so full of experience and is not afraid to share that with you too! He's got such great insight and calms any nerves when being in front of the camera (you don't even realise they're there once the day starts!) We recently got our highlights and feature film, and we cannot get enough of them. Each time we watch them, we love them even more. It is crazy, but it really shows the talent when Perspectives are able capture everything that is important to you and not only show you your special day, but also tell a story about the both of you as couple. The sweet moments, the inside jokes and even moments that you don't realise have become moments. I promise you won't go wrong with them!

Jarrod did an amazing job of the filming for our wedding. He spent time with us ahead of the wedding to understand us and what we wanted, and put together a truly wonderful and very moving film. Definitely recommended!

We have just received our photos from Isaac and Amber and are totally amazed! Isaac did two shoots for us, a private engagement shoot at Muriwai Beach and a party shoot at my house in Henderson. Both shoots were the most natural and enjoyable experiences we could have asked for. Isaac and Amber have gone above and beyond and made these Kiwi kids living in Australia very happy! Some comments from our guests on the party photos; "Absolutely awesome photos, really captured the party, just beautiful" "All the photos are amazing, he (Isaac) did an amazing job!" Isaac and Amber really went above and beyond for us on our special day. Rather than having their specific ideas about the photos they wanted out of our wedding or a 'set list' they put us at ease right from the start and really listened to what our day was about, what it meant to us and what WE wanted, even setting up timelines to ensure they wouldn't miss anything important. In turn our photos reflect perfectly the emotion and feeling of our day and we couldn't be happier! These two are so much fun and nothing was a drama throughout the whole process. So easy to communicate with and they ensure you are happy the whole way through. We were on a tight budget, and splashed out for photography knowing it would be the only thing we had at the end, and if we could do it again - we would choose them! So many of our guests commented about the extremes they went to - hiding in bushes, laying on the ground, they just seemed to be everywhere at once capturing everything! We have had so many compliments, and guests from the wedding feel like they are going back there when they see the photos because the emotion is captured exactly how the day was. The other thing that we really liked is they show photos from EVERY wedding on their blog, not just selected photos that they have chosen carefully, and for us this made it really obvious that they were really good at what they do! And more importantly, they absolutely love what they do and this passion shines through in their work. You spend the whole day with your photographers so this is really essential! We are so over the moon, and now have a beautiful set of images to treasure forever, its so hard to put into words how much this has meant to us, we are encouraging everyone we know to head their way - you wont be disappointed!

A well deserved 5 Star rating. Amber was outstanding right from our first meeting, pre-event planning, liaising with Venue team, through to timely delivery of sneak preview and complete album of amazing photos.. Amber spent quality time with us throughout the day and captured so many great images yet never was intrusive. We actually forgot she was there. Amber really captured the mood of the event, had infectious energy and made two rather camera shy people feel completely at ease. Our experience with Perspectives and Amber simply could not have been better. 5 Stars+++

We were so incredibly lucky to book Jared and Jola to capture our wedding! They are so knowledgeable, experienced and passionate; I had no doubt that they would do an awesome job. I was blown away by the result of their hard work, definitely exceeded my expectations! The same goes for all our friends and family who were stunned by the videos. Perspectives is amazing! I had spotted their work on facebook some time ago, and after quite some time of admiring everything they done, I booked them to do our wedding. Our wedding was pretty not at all traditional, and I only wanted photos at the ceremony and then some at the night party. Isaac was so obliging! Doing amazing photos, shot the ceremony beautifully and then happily came back and snapped the night party! He was more than happy to tailor what he was doing to us, rather than the other way around and we are beyond thrilled with the photos! He completely listened to what we wanted, and there's not a single photo I don't like. The hardest part is deciding which get to go on the wall!

I can't recommend Perspectives enough! They were so great at communicating through the whole process, made us feel at ease in front of the camera, captured amazing photos and moments from the day, and delivered the photos and videos quickly after the day! They have an amazing ability of focusing on the candid moments and capturing the emotions on the day. Everyone needs ISAAC to take photos at their wedding! I cannot describe how happy we are with our experience. From the moment I met Isaac, I felt a warmth and positivity that was just perfect. He clearly loves his job, and truly enjoys being part of the wedding process. He is completely there for you and your partner and wants to make your wedding and photos exactly what you want - no questions asked. On top of all that, he does have a lot of experience and some amazing ideas and EVERYTHING he suggested was better than we could have ever imagined. We had a large wedding (170) with 100 of the guests traveling from overseas. As a result of that, we didn't want to leave the wedding for photos too long. Isaac suggested the First Look, and although we were hesitant at first - both of us felt it was our top moment of the day. The experience was amazing and the photos are to die for! Isaac takes photos of everything that's just happening, you don't feel like your cheeks are sore from smiling and posing for the camera and he catches all the little moments and tells the perfect story of the day. Most of the time, you don't even notice Issac is there, and when you do - he ADDS to the day. He is so fun and lovely and all of our friends and family wanted to become his bestie! He even let my mum try out his special camera for a shot. On top of all this - the photos are UNREAL! We could not be happier, and my partner was very worried he wasn't photogenic and didn't even want a photographer in the first place. Every dealing with Isaac and Perspectives has been nothing but lovely and professional. We were so thrilled to get the blog of photos so quickly after the wedding which was an amazing treat too. The photos and whole experience was honestly worth every penny and we could not recommend this guys more!

Issac and Amber were so professional in organizing the photography for our Wedding day. Isaac came out the day before to join in on our dress rehearsal at the church, meeting with the priest and discussed how to best take the photos. They both came to our hotel to take pre-wedding photos and after the ceremony met us again for the location shots. They had good communication with us and each other to ensure a faultless production. They gave us a dropbox link so that while we were in Japan, my relatives could see some of the photos of the wedding day. The photos came to us after post production on a printed cd in a presentation folder that will ensure our memories will last a lifetime. Thanks so much Issac and Amber for producing our dream photos.

In August this year my Husband and I married in my home town of Landerneau in France. We were lucky enough to have Isaac and Priscilla come all the Way from NZ to capture that magical day for us. They were both so wonderful and enthusiastic and a real pleasure to have them there on such a special occasion. There skill and knowledge of taking a great photo and working with our different language family’s was fantastic. In the end words do not do it justice you just have to look at the end result and see the magic they put into every photo that they took. I could not recommend them higher enough for anyone’s wedding and i hope to have them again for any other special occasions we might have in the future.

ISAAC was the photographer for our daughters wedding last Saturday 24th Feb. I can honestly say he went over and beyond our expectations. He was THERE from mid morning until midnight, but when I say there, I mean it in every way. He was empathetic to all the emotions from anxiety and the odd tear to our exuberant antics and our joy. He was aware of dynamics and personalities, different peoples roles and took shot after shot all day and all night. However, as any Chef will say the proof is always in the first mouthful and when THREE days after the Wedding and yes I did say 3 days post Wedding, when our daughter Georgia received a ‘Sneak pre-view’ slideshow from Isaac, we realized we had a 5 Star Michelan Chef of Photograhic ability. His photos made us all cry as we all went wow, wow, wow, shot after shot! Every photo especially the non-staged photo’s captured something very intrinsic and special about important people in our lives that we will have forever and beyond.
