Meghan is incredibly knowledgeable and professional when it comes to photography. Her friendly, can-do attitude makes her workshops a total joy and you will absolutely learn lots about taking better photos and being more creative. Highly recommended.

As a photography tutor, you want your tutor to help you out not just with the technical aspects of your camera but also with compositions and even handhold you in areas where you have difficulty, Meghan's workshops are just that! She creates a safe environment for everyone participating so if you are a beginner who has just picked up photography or someone who has been shooting for a few years and wants to smoothen rough edges. I would highly recommend her workshops to anyone who is has passion for photography and would like to take it to the next level.

Meghan's knowledge of the places you visit on a workshop is second to none. Having great locations like this really assists in getting the best out of everyone's photography. We found her to be a great teacher and she makes you excited to try different types of photography that you may not have had a preference for. For me it was the astro part of the workshop - I had never tried this before but ended up loving it. I highly recommend Meghan's workshops and look forward to doing another.

Meghan runs a great workshop. Lots of information given and you're taken to different locations so you can practice what you've learnt. Some days are long but always fun and you never want them to finish. A great course Meghan. Many new and easily understood tips. Gear section on filters was very useful. I found the setting section excellent with specific emphasis on the histogram. Very good info on focusing as well as white balance. Composition section had great "artistic" suggestions to pay attention to with a detailed astro portion. The editing/post production module was a good overview for someone with minimal experience.Thanks for developing this.

I highly recommend Meghan's Workshops. Just completed a wonderful workshop in the Catlins - not an easy place to plan for, it was very well organised. She along with co-host Laurie Winter are a wealth of photographic knowledge and were focused on moving the participants up a level in their photographic journey. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and can't wait to go on another one. Meghan was great at planning the locations like this stunning sunrise at Brighton Beach

One of NZ's best landscape photographers in my opinion. So hard to pick a favourite shot but I think this A0 Canvas of a beach horizon we got from Meghan Maloney Photography is pretty stella! such good quality and really prompt service. Can't recommend highly enough!

Having not picked up my camera for a while, and then getting a newer model, I was feeling quite rusty with my photography skills. Meghan’s Landscape photography course was just what I needed to get me back in the saddle. One of the modules goes through all the settings on your camera, regardless of model, and I learnt so much more than I would have done with the instruction booklet. I’ve now got prerecorded buttons for my favourite landscape situations, for example. Meghan’s enthusiasm is inspiring, and I look forward to her regular newsletters complete with tips. Her knowledge is deep and broad, and I feel lucky to have come across her courses. I’m looking forwards to joining her on a workshop weekend in the near future I hope. An amazing workshop where you get to both travel to incredible destinations as well as learn the art of landscape photography. No matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, Meghan will be able to teach you and extend your skills in a casual, easy going manner. Her trip was well planned and she looked after all members, no matter their physical ability. From composition, to technical skills and editing, you will cover the full spectrum of skills.
