Edith is incredible - can't recommend her highly enough! We did a pop up portrait session for our two kids, and her "bedside manner" is brilliant. Despite the shyness of our wee ones, she managed to draw them out, make them feel comfortable, and perfectly captured their personalities and relationship with each other. We will be booking a family session soon!

Had a family shoot recently with Edith with my husband, toddler and baby. Although the kids were quite tired during the shoot, the photos completely exceeded my expectations and we will definitely treasure theses for many years! I love the fact that none of the photos are staged but Edith focussed on capturing us in our natural elements playing games etc Edith was a pleasure to deal with during the whole process- highly recommend!

I am so glad I chose Edith Leigh Photography for my headshot photo session. I was looking for a photographer who could help me feel relaxed and take photographs outside in natural light. I was impressed with Edith’s website and her helpful tips to prepare for a photo shoot. It was great to be able to go out on location to my favourite place in Dunedin and Edith really went the extra mile to find a sheltered spot. I loved all the photos that came out of our session - the hardest part was choosing which ones to order!

Edith stepped up, last minute, when our original photographer couldn't make our arranged date for our staff photoshoot. She took her time looking for the perfect spot to shoot our team members to make sure the lighting was perfect. During each shoot Edith really got to know each team member and made them feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Edith had the final images so quickly and wow, the results were so natural looking. Our team absolutely loved their headshots; even going so far as to using them in their own professional platforms.

I am never keen on the getting photos taken, but I needed an update for my business. I had met Edith through the Dunedin Women in Business group and felt comfortable with her from the start. We did photos around home, and it felt closer to play than hard work to do the photo shoot - which is a big thing and it shines through in how the pictures look - like I am having fun. Electronic systems to select, pay and download were slick and allowed me to do things at odd hours! Thanks Edith, will certainly call on you again when I have to update my pics again, and maybe before if we have some family things to attend to :-)

Edith was very easy to work with, she took into account timing and made it easy for the process to run smoothly. She has such a calm manner with the children that they relaxed and she was able to take photos that really captured their personalities. They were the sorts of photos our parents appreciated and really wanted to buy. Such good quality. Will be using Edith from now on and would definitely recommend her.

Edith was fantastic - she took the time to meet with us to understand what we wanted and she delivered on this. Edith worked with our sons to ensure they enjoyed themselves while still getting the shots she needed/wanted. I was surprised by the quick turn around to view our photos. Edith's patience while we chose the photos was appreciated. We're so happy with our photo shoot and the photos which are memories to cherish.

Edith is amazing!! she produced the most breathtaking phots of our family - phots which included a covid lockdown post-ponment, working with 2 adults, a 4 year old, and 2 huskies!! she can truely do it all and has the patience of a saint. our beautiful photos have been framed and now take pride of place on our wall. the session was so easy and such a breeze, even the 4 year old loved it!! we could not recommend Edith enough, if you want timeless photos that make your heart smile every time you look at them, this is the women to see!! thank you Edith and we will defiantly work again with you in the future.

I really enjoyed my photo session with Edith! I needed some photos for a professional website and the whole process was just so easy - from talking to Edith on the phone, to getting more details via email to the actual photo shoot itself. Edith was very good at making me comfortable in front of the camera and I am very pleased with all the photos I got!

Totally recommend Edith! She was cheerfully obliging and throughly professional when working with our family. A few times we needed to change plans but nothing phased Edith. Just had an AWESOME (if chilly) photoshoot with Edith Leigh Photography! Edith came to my waterlogged garden and bravely squelched through the mud to get the perfect headshots. Impressed! A true pro through and through, she made me feel expertly guided to the right poses in weather that can't have been comfortable for her! Professional photoshoots do not have to be boring or strangely unnatural looking. I have had a lifetime of bad photo experiences but Edith knows how to make you excited for a photoshoot and then make, taking your photo FUN ... she captures the youness of you
