S.Perfection! This simple word describes the not so simple task Jess had when photographing our wedding - being one of the last for the season due to covid-19. It came right down to the wire but once we had the okay there was no stopping us from going through with things and we got to have our dream day as planned on the 20.03.20. Jess was with us all of the way which was a big ask considering all of the unknowns - but we got there and what a perfect day it was. Jess was amazing to work with from first contact right up to the day - and beyond. Jess is easy going and so passionate about her work, making you feel completely comfortable, even when you're having a cheeky snog! I knew we'd struck gold when I first came across Jess's work and this was confirmed when we received our photo's back (in record time). Our photographs are beyond amazing, there are some very special shots and moments that we will forever treasure. Thank you so much Jess!

Jess was recommended to us by the Duke of Marlborough and we are so glad we chose her.
She was so easy to talk to and work with, was super flexible and so cheerful and just really lovely on our wedding day. The day went by in a flash, especially the photo session.
We went with the 9-hour package and could not have chosen a better photographer. The photos turned out absolutely incredible and we got so many more than we expected - and it’s so hard to pick our favorites now. 😂
I.Jess is great with first timers and help them build confidence in front of a camera. The photos are absolutely beautiful and capture the unique features and personality of the models.

A.Jess was the photographer for our wedding in February 2020. Jess is talented, kind and wonderful to work with. My husband and I are not used to taking professional photos but Jess made us feel so comfortable on the big day.
We were so happy opening our digital gallery and seeing all of the beautifully shot and edited photos. Jess got all the shots we could have hoped for and many more. We've picked our favourites and it was no trouble getting them printed and framed for the wall - the high resolution and quality of the photos gave us a lot of options.
Jess was a dream to work with. She is very professional and was always responsive in our communications leading up to the wedding. I would recommend booking Jess for any special event!

L.Jess photographed our wedding and more recently has done a family session with us to mark our son turning one.
Once again Jess has blown us away with her talent and skill. In our opinion, Jess is undoubtedly the best in Northland and could rival any other wedding/portrait photographer in New Zealand. Her photos are natural, timeless, emotive and beautiful. Technically and creatively she is brilliant.
On top of this, she is warm, easy going and professional. For our wedding, she spent the entire day running ahead of us with heavy equipment, but her enthusiasm never waned and you could tell she was passionate about getting the best shots.
This second time was no different and Jess was so great with our son, engaging with him and having fun. She brought along her young daughter who was the perfect assistant, waving toys around and making us laugh.
What is so great is that the smiles she captured are genuine- we had lots of fun during the shoot. This is what Jess does so well - she puts you at ease and is so quick and relaxed, she really knows what she is doing. We couldn’t get over how many winning shots she got and the variety of shots also.
We will treasure these images for many years to come. Our only regret is that we didn’t get around to doing newborn photos with Jess. Jess is a true professional and we highly recommend her.

S.Jess is an absolute legend! We got married at home on the 14th of March, not long before the lockdown took affect. One of the first things we booked when planning our wedding was our photographer. We took a road trip up to Kerikeri to meet Jess and we knew straight away she was the right person for the job. She made us feel like friends, not clients. On our big day, despite all the nerves, Jess was so chilled and just blended into the background capturing all the action. When it came to the group and bridal party shots she gave us heaps of direction so we didn’t look or feel awkward and even dealt with the challenge of us throwing our 8 month old baby into the mix! Our day was beyond our expectations and Jess magically captured the love, laughter and overall vibe perfectly!
