Rachel isnt just a photographer, she is an amazing artist! She is a beautiful person to work with, and we felt comfortable with her from initially meeting her, right up until and including our wedding day It is obvious this is her passion as she goes above and beyond for you, with nothing ever being too difficult. We absolutely love what she captured from our wedding day, and have had nothing but amazing feedback from guests (For the photographs and how amazing she is on the day). We had no idea how we should have been standing but Rachel will gently guide you (while having fun) to the best position to create that amazing art. We will forever cherish Rachels artwork she has created of our wedding day and 100 percent recommend you snap her up as your photographer! You will not be disappointed! It was firm that we were going to use Rachel for our elopement. Her photos are truly magical which caught my eyes straight away. I wanted my photos to be unique and I got exactly that. You can not only see, but feel the emotions in her photos. When we met Rachel on our special day we instantly felt comfortable. We had no idea how to pose or what to do, but Rachel guided us throughout. It is very obvious that this was not just a job for her, it’s her passion. Rachel is an absolutely incredible photographer. When my husband and I were searching for a photographer for our wedding, we found it difficult to find a photographer that captured the styles we wanted; until we came across Two Little Starfish. We knew immediately we would like to work with Rachel. Her style covered the dreamy, romantic, moody pictures we wanted, as well as documentary style for the day. When we skyped with Rachel, she was very personable, easy-going, and we were confident that she would be the perfect wedding photographer for us. On our wedding day, Rachel was dedicated, and was clearly passionate for the art of photography. Rachel is a magician behind the camera lens and has a great talent to spot excellent photo opportunities. She was there early in the morning, and stayed till late at night, all the while, energetic, full of laughs and kept the photoshoots light and cheerful. My husband and I can not recommend Rachel enough. From our first Skype call we felt Rachel’s beautiful calm nature. It might be a daunting thought to have someone with a camera in your personal space capturing such a special day but Rachel made us feel so at ease and we hardly noticed her while she worked her magic. We opted not to have too many creative photos taken and love how Rachel captured all those genuine heartfelt moments, stolen glances, cheeky grins and intimate moments. We were so grateful for all the photos of our guests too. So many smiles and heads thrown back in laughter. She really captured the love that was in the air. You can get so caught up with everything during your wedding day that those are some of the things you miss out on, so we are so grateful she was able to capture that for us. Wow, where to begin?! Rachel is amazing, her creative eye captured the true essence and beauty of our wedding day. Looking through the photos we recieved flooded us with with the exact emotions we were feeling on the day, a true moment captured in time. Its amazing being able to relive our special day. What Rachel captured on our wedding day was just spectacular. From the beginning when we first met Rachel, she was so lovely and helpful. We had never been involved with professional photography, so didn’t really know what to ask or what we really wanted, but Rachel had all the answers and nothing was a problem. She is an amazing creative and talented photographer. We could not be more over the moon with our wedding photographs and will treasure them forever. We also did a night shoot, the photo is jaw dropping, with the milky way, and the moon rising on the horizon. She has manipulated a couple of our photos too which are just stunning. Can't recommend Rachel from Two Little Starfish Photography highly enough! The photography was one aspect of our wedding day that was really important to me and I'm so glad we chose her to capture our day. Rachel made everything really easy and put in a lot of effort prior to the day to talk with us and visit our venue. Rachel and Eric Jordan...what can I say that hasn’t been said already!? I’ve spent hours thinking of the right words to describe our gratitude and aroha (love) we have for these two. Words fail me, writing this is hard as nothing seems to be good enough... but here it goes... Creative masters in their own right, deep inside their minds with their art and passion, Rachel and Eric delivered the goods on a godly level on the day of our wedding. The next few days after, Rach sent sneak previews followed by “ahhhs” and “ohhs” of friends and family. We were amazed!!! Our full wedding set not long sent after, followed by a pre-organised creative photo shoot suggested by Rachel which we were so grateful for. A fun day with rich singing ACDC while we danced and she took photos!! Finally, hitting it for a home run with a husband in tears as we watched our Cinematic, shot and edited by the talented and professional Eric Jordan....this making the husband and wife duo untouchable with their strive for perfection and beauty. The time that went into editing this... the NZ music, the moments with the surprises that led me to happy tears did not go unnoticed. I knew Eric was one of the best in his field, but our Cinematic was so much more than what we expected. Once again, overdelivering with ultimate excellence. Having a parents who are artist I've been privy to the mind of those who "Create".. They have a high tolerance for disorder and disarray - (the after reception drinks lol) ; the ability to extract order from chaos (the challenge of the group/family photos) ; independence (we wanted them to feel part of the festivities); unconventionality; and a willingness to take risks. This summed up everything we could wish for when we choose them to capture our special day. We trusted them with everything, the hardest thing as a Bride-To-Be is letting go of the reigns and allowing the professionals to take over. The result...perfection. It's EXACTLY what we wanted and more. We felt beyond spoilt. A million 'thank you's' will never be enough to show our gratitude. You cant go wrong when booking Rach and Eric, save that little bit extra for the full package (photos and cinematic) you won't regret it. She is not just a photographer but an artist with a passion and each and every photo taken is high quality.
