Carla is such an amazing photographer! She photographed our wedding in February and her friendly chill vibe made the whole process a breeze. Carla was so helpful in the planning stages and then on the day she was fun to have around and absolutely brilliant at organizing the bridal party and guests when needed, to get the perfect shot. When we received our sneak peak our jaws hit the floor! We couldn’t believe how amazing the photos were! We were even more in awe of her talent when we received all our photos, they are all so beautiful and perfectly capture the love and happiness throughout the day. Thank you so much Carla!

We highly recommend Carla as a wedding photographer. My now husband and I are from Auckland, and never met Carla until the day of the wedding, in Queenstown. We picked her because we felt that her photos captured all the right moments from every wedding. We were at first anxious about not having the opportunity to meet her in person before the wedding day, because we had a traditional Filipino wedding with rituals during the ceremony. However the moment we met Carla, all our worries left us because she was super friendly, efficient and attentive. She told us not to worry because she will be capturing everything, and she kept her promise, she captured EVERYTHING! All the moments that mattered and more! Carla made us feel comfortable during the shoots and we had so much fun. She was very patient and flexible when all our guests started requesting photos with us, and she even stayed a bit longer than agreed when speeches started to run over time. Carla captured beautiful photos of our guests as well. We treasure every photo and we're so glad we picked Carla. It was definitely the best decision ever!!! Carla is amazing! She was so helpful, responsive and friendly while we were planning our wedding and we absolutely loved having her with us on the day. She makes everyone relaxed and have fun and is so easy to work with. We all really enjoyed having our bridal party photos as well as going off for an hour for amazing scenery and photos. Carla is such an amazing photographer! She made it easy for my husband and I to pose for her to beautifully capture our love in photographs! We never usually have nice photographs as we are a very goofy couple! It was wonderful to see that Carla was able to capture our serious, sweet, and goofy side! We loved the idea of being asked some questions about our relationship although it took me a while to answer them as I was a bit tipsy over one glass of bubbles on an empty stomach. Haha! Carla photographed our wedding back in May 2019 at The Officers Mess, Fort Takapuna (Auckland) and I would highly recommend booking her for your wedding. She went above and beyond to help us during the planning process and was always super responsive with emails/messages. The tips she gave us covered absolutely everything we needed to know for the day and encouraged us to make details of our wedding unique to us. On the day, you would not have even known Carla was there taking photos…she was non-intrusive and not only captured all the shots we asked for, but captured candid moments that we would have otherwise not seen. My husband and I were a little nervous about getting our couple shots together but Carla made us feel super comfortable, relaxed and had us in fits of laughter…we never felt rushed and really enjoyed the time to ourselves. The beautiful Carla Mitchell! Both my fiance and I could not be happier with Carla. She worked her magic from the get go! I had contacted her back in 2017 regarding our engagement shoot is Queenstown of 2018. She was very responsive and patient with us as we were not set on our plans for NZ. And knowing me, once trying to plan things by email, I generally expect a response straight away and Carla proved that she genuinely wanted to be involved in our journey by responding pretty much within 24hours!! On the actual shoot in June 2018, we put all our trust in her knowledge of the town and she absolutely delivered. My partner and I are big on adventure! Carla took us to extreme obstacles with the amazing views that captured all sides of both my partner and I and we couldn't be more ecstatic with the outcome of all our captured photos. Carla made us feel so at home and her professional skills in this industry definitely projects in her devotion to her customers. Turn around for the edited photos took less than two weeks and we were so happy with all of them!! We got a few printed on canvas for our wedding and a future home. Exciting!!! I spent a few days to search for photographers in Queenstown and chose Carla for her ability to tell stories of couples through her photos. Our photo shoot session had to be split into 2 days due to bad weather and Carla never failed to make the best arrangment for me and my partner as we were travelling from overseas with a fixed itinerary. I thought that posing would be awkward for me and my partner but it turned out to be all good in a natural way. All our friends and families are impressed with the photos and we thank Carla for bringing out the best in me and my partner. Now that we have an album of our own that tells our stories, one that is created by Carla Mitchell.

My wife has made it a tradition to have a mini photo shoot whenever we travel to an exotic location. I've always debated with her that it's not necessary, however she always wins out. So when we booked our trip to Queenstown, NZ, the search started. I messaged a few different photographers however, Carla was the first to respond. Good communication is very important when you're trying to make plans half way across the world. She sent over her rates and her album and everything was in line with what we wanted. She even texted when we landed to coordinate a pick up. We hopped in her vehicle and the photo shoot began! The process was fun and she found some hidden gems. After we done we have one special request. The photo shoot was for our anniversary so we asked for a sneak peek with a short turn around time. Sure enough she made it in time and the photos blew us away. If you're in search of a photographer in Queenstown, Carla is your pick!!! You won't regret it.

Carla is just amazing. Her photo booth was a hit at our wedding on the weekend. She really encourages everyone to have a go and use the props. The photo booth is gorgeous to look at and would fit in with any wedding. We hired Carla's awesome photo booth for our wedding. Everyone loved it! We also bought the magnet frames for the photos as gifts for all our guests and these are pinned up on everyone's fridges at home now- including ours! We got the guest book for ourselves too which is such a fun keep sake from our wedding day. The quality of the book is excellent- we had a photo booth at another wedding celebration in the UK a few weeks after and the quality wasn't very good and all the pages are deformed and so a lot of the photos became unstuck. Buying the photo book through Carla was perfect! All the props were in excellent condition and with the style of the photo booth being so open there was plenty of room to move around and just watching others enjoying the photo booth was very entertaining! We recently utilised the services of Carla Mitchell's Photobooth for a combined first birthday party. What a resounding success! The photos were outstanding, anyone who can work with children and tired Mums and make them look fabulous is incredible. I have been able to subsequently print the photos and give them to our guests as gifts as so many people wanted additional prints. They are also hugely popular as new FB profile pics and have been shared widely via Instragram. Carla was a consumate professional to work with and I would highly recommend her work for any event, but in particular special events, weddings and anytime you want memories to keep in a modern and funky way.

Our session with Carla was fantastic, we ended up booking with late notice, time constraints and intermitent lighting/weather issues she managed to provided an unforgettable experience, filled with laughter. She has a wonderful way of warming people up and bring out the love and emotion between a couple which can not be overvalued in her role. Ensuring you end up with incredible photos is her main priority and this shows through her coaching you through motions and movements ensuring you are comfortable and confident and that you absoloutly get your moneys worth. We recieved our photos earlier than expected, providing an early xmas present and were blown away with the quality and quantity of the photos.
