N.HIGHLY recommend Katie doing family photos. She captured our whanau naturally and "in the moment". It was an incredibly icy evening, one that we were not expecting and will never forget! Despite our young children struggling, she managed to guide us and capture some really special moments for us. Thank you for making the most of the unfortunate weather and our children's runny noses, red cheeks and watery eyes. We will be back next year!
A.I am so so happy i got my newborn photo shoot with Katie! The images were absolute perfection, it was so hard to choose which ones to go with! Katie is such a friendly & outgoing person which made the photo shoot a fun and relaxed experience. Will be coming back to Katie for family photos very soon. Cannot recommend her enough
A.Katie did a wonderful job of capturing family photos for us. We played chicken with the weather and won with some fantastic golden photos in a grassy field. She really has an eye for beauty and we have some wonderful shots of our kids and family for posterity. Absolutely will use her again.
K.Katie is such an amazing photographer who managed to click some of the most beautiful moments for our one year old to mark his first birthday. Although our baby wasn't in his best mood but Katie was able to capture best moments of our family by being patient & cheering up our baby. J.Katie was fabulous from the start. We have had both Maternity and Newborn photos taken and she went above and beyond to accommodate us with a run of horrible weather and lockdown. The photos we received were incredible, we struggled to narrow it down! We look forward to getting more photos with Katie in the future
N.Katie did an excellent job with our newborn shoot! We absolutely love the images and are finding it rather difficult to choose which to print as they're all just gorgeous! It was so difficult to choose between studio and lifestyle after seeing Katie's portfolio, we opted for studio, I was however so tempted to do both! Down to earth, professional and a good eye, Katie provided us with the images we had hoped for.
L.We have used Katie Hurlow Photography twice for our family photos. She is the absolute BEST! Not only does she produce the most wonderful photos, but she is so easy to work with too. Katie is fantastic with the kids. She very quickly creates a rapport with them (helping them to warm up to her and the camera!) and is able to make the session really fun for them. Our kids had the time of their lives! From little games, to dancing and fun high fives... she is able to capture the kids (and parents) in a very "real" way. (She even managed to get amazing photos of my shy 2-year old..... thats no easy task!) Her ability to do this all so well meant that there was no stress for us, as the parents, to get our children to "perform" for the camera. She also gives great direction which avoids that feeling of awkwardness that can happen in front of the camera of "what do I do?!!" We could just relax into it. We highly recommend Katie Hurlow Photography!
