I cannot stress how fun Kate's shoots are, or how creative and passionate she is!! This delightful human being will literally do ANYTHING for a great shot! Examples: 📸 Our engagement shoot: got soaked by a wave for the perfect shot 📷 Our Wedding shoot: crawled through cowpats to get the perfect shot 📷 Our family shoot: laid down in wet sand for the most perfect shot Ever considered getting a photo shoot but felt too awkward or shy? Kate is your gal!! We're the most awkward family ever and usually feel so uncomfortable being photographed, but with Kate we felt so comfortable and for the whole shoot we were laughing our heads off, totally at ease, having heaps of fun! Photo shoots don't have to be serious or about posing or trying too hard, they're about having fun, being yourself, and looking truly happy, which is exactly what you get with Ryan's Daughter, and the results honestly speak for themselves. Of all the things I love to praise about, Kate's work is seriously at the top of my list! We are so lucky to have the most wonderful family photographer who we keep going back to again and again, for every important milestone and the bits in between!! Thank you Kate!! ❤️❤️

Writing Kate a review is an absolute pleasure. Not only did we feel so welcomed and warm in New Zealand, Kate made us so comfortable in front of the camera, letting us be ourselves at the same time. She was fun to work with and did not act like she was doing a job. It felt very casual and awesome. At both our pregnancy and newborn shoots Kate created a relaxed atmosphere that resulted in beautiful, authentic images of our new family. We loved the beachfront location Kate suggested for our pregnancy shoot - a beautiful back drop for photos that capture the excitement and anticipation of that special time. After welcoming our wee girl, Kate once again provided us with wonderful photos. They are special keepsakes documenting those magical (chaotic) weeks with our newborn. At each shoot Kate's friendly approach put us at ease in front of the camera. The result has been beautiful, natural photos that truly capture our family at each stage.
