I don't even know where to start in what to say about Luisa and Api, it actually makes me want to cry thinking about our whole experience working with these 2 - they are the most special people who were a huge part of our wedding day! From the moment I found out about Luisa (through a recommendation) it was just the most special experience. Our first catch up to talk through our day I instantly knew that we were going to click and that she absolutely understood us as a couple and what we would be wanting to achieve through our photos and video! Understanding her packages and which would be most suitable for us, and even working with us to make it work well since we had an 'extra long day' starting our ceremony so early!! We planned our wedding in less than 4 months so to work with someone who was so professional with such a caring nature was exactly what we needed. Luisa made a comment to me that you end up spending most of your day with your photographer and videographer and she is absolutely right. Luisa and Api were right there without even knowing it (in the nicest possible way) and captured the true essence of our day. We wanted to capture the love and laughter and be able to tell a story about our day through the photos, and that is exactly what has happened. The video Api made was absolutely phenomenal!!! I watch it all the time! We had our 2 little boys, 4 & 1.5 present at the wedding and it is the most amazing memory for them. We have shared our photos and videos and people are absolutely blown away by them just like we are. Anyone who attended our wedding look at both and comment all the time how much Luisa and Api perfectly captured exactly what the day was like, and they were also taken through a journey of remembering while watching/ looking at them. They both also went above and beyond by working an incredibly long day in order to capture some of our dance floor action! These words aren't even enough for what they meant to our day and I can't recommend them enough!! Luisa recently took some photos for my business. I needed to get some updated brand imagery done but was a little apprehensive since I'm a photographer myself and haven't been on the other end of the camera much. Luisa did such an amazing job, I felt really comfortable and she helped me with direction when I needed it which made me relax into our session. She managed to capture so many different angles and settings during our shoot that I can use for a number of different purposes on web, social media and print. I would highly recommend Luisa to anyone wanting to get a refresh for their brand imagery - she is fantastic at what she does.

We met Luisa at a wedding fair and we knew straight away we wanted to work with her because of her super friendly and fun personality. She was so easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and very helpful, answering all of our questions. On the day Luisa was very organized, professional and very fun. We are typically camera-shy but Luisa confidently directed us and we really enjoyed the process. We ended up having a lot of guests not being able to come due to covid so we asked last minute if Api could video our ceremony for us to share with those who couldn't be there. Api made an awesome video that he edited and sent to us the day after our wedding. Where do I begin?? Luisa is an absolute dream to work with. She is so responsive and patient, suggested where and what we could do for the styling of the shoot well before the wedding and her confidence just comforted me (me and my husband eloped to Wanaka with a couple friends and had no idea what to expect when we planned our wedding here as our original date had to be cancelled due to COVID). We are both camera shy and honestly I couldn’t have felt more comfortable with Luisa, she is easy going and super friendly. Luisa is an absolute creative & incredible photographer. When I first came across her Instagram, I immediately fell in love with her eye for capturing moments & her editing is so so beautiful. For our wedding photographer, we didn't just want someone who took great photos, we wanted someone with vision and passion. Luisa has everything! It is a joy to watch her work and to see how much she cares about catching the right light, the special moments, unique images and your photo wish list. She is extremely hard working as well as fun to be around. She's great at giving guidance on where to be or how to move your body for the best photos and she makes everything so easy. We were so comfortable to be behind the camera with her. I would recommend her in a heart beat because her excitement and energy is contagious and you feel like you're the only couple she's ever photographed. We also had Api doing our videography and haven't seen two people work better together. They are funny and warm and an amazing team! We only had to wait a matter of days for our sneak peek photos which is so important. I know some couples have had to wait months for a photo, and all you want to do after it's all over is relive the day over and over.
