Ben was absolutely fantastic to have as our wedding photographer. He was super prompt and clear in all communication, and he had everything well under control during the pre-wedding stage. On the day he made us feel super comfortable and relaxed. His approach, and photography style, lead to an amazing wedding photo selection for us to look back on forever. There’s not one bad photo - they are all great! Would 11/10 recommend.

My wife and I are so pleased that we got in touch with Benjamin and Elise for our wedding photography. Not only were they super professional and talented but also very warm hearted and cooperative. What could have been very daunting for us, was made smooth as a breeze. Our preferences and comfort was always placed first and hence we are smiling in every single photo. Being on a tight budget, Benjamin and Elise were very accommodating and tailored a package according to our situation. We booked Benjamin and Elise Photography for our wedding in March 2021. We are so happy with the photos and the way Benjamin was able to document our special day. Benjamin was professional but relaxed and fitted perfectly into our day. He made us feel at ease in front of the camera. A lot of our guests also commented on how great Benjamin was, especially getting involved in the dancefloor while snapping pics. Elise came to photograph our family in our home and we were really happy with how she helped us settle into a comfortable vibe. It was a really unfamiliar experience for us and we were quite out of our comfort zone at first but Elise was really good. She did a great job capturing the incidental moments with three young children and got some stunning shots. She has a really good eye for colour, light, and aethetics. Benjamin was amazing to work with since the first contact. Our wedding was meant to happen a couple days before New Zealand went to alert level 4 (covid) and Benjamin didn't hesitate to help us out with putting the event on hold until we had another date. On the wedding day, he was on time, easy to work with and sociable. Got compliments from many guests. He interacted just enough to make everyone comfortable with his presence but also to not note his presence while taking the shots. Now the most wanted part of this review: The photos just look amazing (quality and scene). We loved how Benjamin captured natural moments and not only the cheesy photos. The photos were all spontaneous and so emotional that we really felt like we were living that moment again when we received the full album. His professionalism from sending the contract to the final photo album was outstanding. I would totally recommend him for whoever is looking for professional, emotional quality photos as well as great person to work with.

Where do we even start with Benjamin and Elise…They are hands down the best photographers ever. Benjamin and Elise captured the biggest day of our lives in a way that far exceeded our (already high) expectations. From when we booked them, to our wedding day and then to actually receiving the photos, they were professional, friendly and made the process so easy for us. On our wedding day they put us at ease. We were able to put all our trust in them to capture the day which allowed us to relax and soak up the best day of our lives. The pictures themselves were unreal! We chose Benjamin and Elise to capture our wedding day after seeing their amazing photos of our friends Hawaii wedding. Unfortunately Elise fell ill on the week of the wedding but they organised an equally lovely and talented photographer, Melissa, to step in her place. Benjamin was very flexible and accommodating to the ideas we had. We took a helicopter up the top of the Tararua ranges for our photo shoot, which none of us had scoped first. Benjamin quickly chose the perfect setting and made us feel very relaxed and natural during the shoot. They were both a pleasure to have around on the day. Benjamin and Melissa also did a great job at capturing all the candid moments of our guests enjoying their day which we really love. Thank you again! Would totally recommend!
