Billie is an absolute star and a pleasure to work with. My now husband Tom and I met with several wedding photographers early last year to capture our big day in December. It was clear to the both of us once we met Billie in person that she was the one. She has a calm, positive and cheerful attitude and we both felt extremely relaxed and in safe hands with her around. Billie has a clear love for love and every photo she took captured this whether it was the brief stolen glances, the holding of hands or the genuine broad grins and happy tears of all in attendance. Billie, thank you so much. We will treasure the photos you took forever. I hope any couple that reads this gets the chance to have the Billie Brook experience on their big day, they won't regret it!

Billie is outstanding! She shot a few weddings that my husband and I have been to and had taken some of our favourite photos of us. When we got engaged the first thing we knew for certain was we wanted Billie as our photographer – she was our non-negotiable. Her presence is so joyful and contagious and she made us super comfortable in front of the camera, even though we are generally pretty camera shy. We feel so thankful to have had Billie as part of our day, and she captured such beautiful candid moments. Our guests still rave to us about how cool our photographer was, she never got in the way and always looked like she was having a fab time! When the photos came through we couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. She captured all the joy and love of the day perfectly, and we have such incredible photos to cherish. Billie was our wedding photographer. Not only was she so easy to talk to throughout the process, she made ensure that our wedding day was covered exactly the way we wanted. She made us felt very relaxed and has an amazing ability to capture the real emotions throughout the day. She was professional, organised, but also incredibly flexible and open. We chose Billie to photograph our wedding in December 2021 at Anam Cara Gardens. Billie is super friendly, organised and a seasoned professional. She made us feel at ease right from when we first met her, through to the end of our special day. Billie did an amazing job capturing the special moments of our wedding day with beautiful natural photos of our friends and family. Billie went above and beyond to make sure the photography process was easy and fun. We absolutely love the photos and couldn’t recommend Billie highly enough as a wedding photographer.

Billie is an absolute superstar! She has captured my little family for two years now and every single image is frame worthy. My husband is incredibly awkward in front of the camera but Billie instantly puts him at ease. She is easy to work with, really flexible and professional! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our intimate, chilled out Wellington micro-wedding than Billie. From the outset, we felt really safe in her hands and relaxed knowing that she would be able to capture the moment for us. We had an initial zoom and then an in person consultation prior to the day, and what was also great was the back up plans in case of bad weather she had tucked up her sleeve. Her enthusiasm and approach made us both feel at ease throughout the whole process. The end result, including our gorgeous presentation box was a real treat and we have beautiful photos that we can cherish forever. We are so glad that Billie was recommended to us to photograph our wedding. Her work really speaks for itself, but we were so insanely amazed at how beautiful all our photos were, she is so extremely talented. She went above and beyond for us both on the day and leading up to it, she captured such special moments in such an incredible way. Not only does Billie have an amazing talent and eye for photography, but she has the personality to match, she is friendly, lively and has a good humorous side. Billie has an incredible way of making you feel at ease as she sneaks around the place capturing photos, she has an innate way of capturing the most intimate moments without you even realising she is there. She was one of the highlights of the day for us and our guests, so many of our guests raved about her and many have said they want to book her for their own weddings. I don’t think we will ever be able to thank Billie enough for all the amazing photos we received, they captured our day so perfectly, the emotions, the setting, and the ambience. Billie was our Wedding photographer in January 2016 and she absolutely nailed the brief that we discussed with her. She made the whole process easy and casual, and right from the first meeting she understood exactly what we wanted during our day. On the day itself she was an absolute legend and struck the perfect balance between making sure we got the best photos, but without intruding or making a big scene. Not only did we enjoy working with her, but the photos she sent through as the final cuts were absolutely fantastic - Surpassing our expectations and perfectly capturing what was an amazing day. Billie shot our wedding a few weeks ago, and she was absolutely incredible. She set a great tone on the day, and made us and our guests feel really comfortable. She was also an absolute stealth ninja. Our ceremony was in quite a small courtyard space, and we really didn't know where she was or if she was even taking photos! (She was). We are not photographers but we're both designers and we're... fussy. The photos are insanely good. There is a great variety of really sharp urban landscape shots, intimate shots of us a couple just being ourselves, family shots with our kids that we will treasure forever, and candid doco style capture of our guests that we love so much. We are both used to examining photoshoots and picking out a handful of good shots out of hundreds. We were blown away, and have hundreds that we want to print! It's a special thing to invite a stranger in to such a magic time, and we're so glad Billie was there with us. ✨

My wife and I were planning remotely to be married north of Wellington. While Billie came highly recommended by trusted Kiwi friends and relatives, we had to rely a bit on faith. That faith was richly rewarded. As a journalist who has worked with many remarkable photographers over the years, I can say that Billie is an exceptional talent, and absolutely loves her job. Her attention to detail, her eye for color, the way she captures candor and emotion are all priceless. Billie was effortlessly graceful and seamlessly flowed through both our Hindu and Quaker ceremonies. She captured photos that our family and guests will cherish for generations. In other words, we approve.
