This is THE place to go if you need any help with your camera! I inherited a camera but it was missing a few things. I went to a few other shops but they weren't much help, so I came to photo warehouse and staff gave me some great advice about SD cards, and helped me sort out lens protection, a lens cap and a bag to keep the camera safe. The staff are super passionate about cameras, took the time to explain everything to me and had great advice. I cannot recommend them enough!

I always get really great service from the staff at photo warehouse- they helped me with developing photos for the first time and the process was so quick and easy I’ve been going back ever since. Definitely would recommend them for anyone needing film or photo supplies.

Amazing service from Ken who was so kind to share his expertise regarding binoculars. I bought a really nice pair of Nikon binos that were a great upgrade to our previous ones. One of the only places where you can physically hold and test the binos before buying.

Prior to going into store I sent through some enquiries via email and got really great help from Fergus who immediately picked that I was asking about astrophotography when I forgot to explicitly mention it. My mother and I went in on a Saturday and were served by Ken. My mum is new to astrophotography and although she had a rough idea in mind of what she wanted, she wasn't 100% sure. She also had a limited budget. Ken was FANTASTIC. He took the time to explain things to my mother in a non-condescending way, he helped her with her unique issues (she has arthritis in her hand, so he let her hold the tripods for a while to see if she could comfortably carry them), and he didn't try to sell her the 'biggest, best and most expensive' but rather the best for her price range and needs. Ken, you have now got customers for life and we will be coming back for any and all accessories etc. Thank you so much for making the experience stress free and exciting for my mother.

I had ordered stuff from PW online but hadn't gone into any of their stores, so had to visit while in Wellington. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. They understood I was on a budget and didn't try to oversell or push me. I would absolutely recommend this store to any new photographers.

Ken's patience and listening skills ensured I bought a camera that ably suited my needs. His after sales service is great. Harriette's photoshopping skills are A1+. All staff members make me feel welcome when I come into the shop. I am a completely satisfied customer.

Just popped in to take a look a some lenses and was pleasantly surprised by the service. The assistant had heaps of personal experience to share which I really appreciated - didn't try to upsell either. Prices and range quite good for what I was looking at.

I purchased a lens from Photo Warehouse. Fergus assisted me with my purchase and also helped me with my inquiries regarding other camera accessories. Fergus was very helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciated his patience. Photo Warehouse had a great range of camera gear and I will be back!

Dropped some film off this morning and they told me just after I paid that the processing time was 3 - 4 weeks. It would have been helpful if they had mentioned this beforehand as this is unusually long.

Ordered a tripod from them and opted for normal post as I didn't need it in a hurry, they sent it overnight at no extra cost. Had an issue with an online order, called up and was asked what the issues were, told them and the guy tried to help as much as he could, but since he didn't usually deal with online stuff he asked me to email the head of online sales, that was 10am, by 2:30pm I had received a reply, they had checked my order status and he processed it the following day and it was sent overnight at no additional cost again. Great staff, friendly to talk to, happy to help and if they can't they put you onto someone who can! Prices are the best I have seen in NZ! Unlike other stores whose prices are on average $30+ more expensive or can't get the item you want without making you wait over a month!

A bit underwhelming really... So I am just starting out on my DSLR journey and I went in to get the gear, spend some money and get some advice. Eventually we were served by a staff member who was not terribly enthusiastic or helpful - be nice to see some excitement especially when you spend 3K on gear to get you underway.. Plus no deals outside of what is advertised? Thought we could mix up other lenses with the DSLR body? Didn't really come across being that keen to assist there BUT I was happy enough with what I purchased. Great range also.. Really good range. I will be back to get more lenses, UV filters, memory cards etc in the future.

Always friendly and helpful. Harriette always goes over and above for my photo needs and gives me good advice about the products - canvases, finished of photos. I’ve been a customer for over 5 years, and don’t go anywhere else to get photos printed.

Very professional..I actually look good on my passport photo for the first time in my life.They have a system that can be set to the type of photo you want to the standards the application requires.You can buy everything for your camara here. They sell selfie sticks and Nikon camaras.Staff are knowledgeable and they are open on a Sunday.

Foreign passport photo were quick and exactly to the requirements for Canada, including cutting and stamping. It was $5 more than the other place I had first gone to but worth it in professionalism, quality, and meeting the country requirements.

They have a huge variety of camera gear which is amazing, Although they don't have much of videography. Prices a very expensive. Some of the staff are very helpful. Some other are not that good.

Very fast service, They can automatically verify that your passport photo will be approved by the Passport office. Good location and not very busy at 12 noon on a Wednesday.

Brought in jpeg files of passport photos from an app. They didn’t print to proper size- and there were shadow problems on the pic. They took new passport photos- turned out great. Friendly and professional service

A great range of gear and knowledgeable staff. Prices can be a bit high on a normal day but they do some very good sales so watch for those.

Good bunch of people and always keen to talk camera , and that is exactly what you want when you got to a camera store . Honest suggestions and they are happy to point you in the right direction when your looking for a good camera .

Might be great in store but online is a struggle. No reply to webmail trying to ask a few questions when wanting to buy a $5000 camera and no one answers the phone. Tried another store (Photogear) super helpful and will go there from now on.

Various electronics stores in Wellington were named to me that might have this part in their range (Original) Habe zwar nicht das bekommen, was ich gesucht haben (Austauschlinse für go pro hero back 7) dafür aber sehr hilfsbereite und nette Verkäufer erlebt. Mir wurden diverse Elektoläden in Wellington genannt, die dieses Teil evtl. im Sortiment haben konnten
