Catherine from Refresh Physio is an amazing Pilates instructor. I have been attending her classes for a few years running and she never fails to set up variations of interesting challenges. The main reason I joined the class was to help with my back pain from my sedentary office lifestyle especially when doing very long hours. Her sessions proved very effective for me and I am now enjoying doing them twice a week!

Catherine has been my Physio for about 15 years now and over that time she has fixed many of my aches and pains. She has magic hands and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Her knowledge is unsurpassed and her practice is based on the most up to date science. She is also a fantastic and highly respected Pilates instructor .

I go to Catherine for physio and pilates. The treatment I get is holistic and treats my whole body. I have a neck issue that Catherine has been treating and that issue is assisted by the core stengthening I do at her pilates class. The class is challenging, but I saw improvement in pain management pretty quickly. It is local and social and Catherine empowers her patients and attendees to keep moving and take control of their pain.

Give credit were's credit is due. As a 44 year old injury plagued footballer I went to Catherine for Physio. Her treatment was simple and straight forward. Catherine pointed me in the right direction then I put in the hard yards. From thinking my playing days were over I was back competing. This Sunday we won the Wellington 11 a side Cup. Nothing but good words to say about this place. Catherine Millar has been my physio for 15+ years. In that time she's fixed my cronic back issue, buggered achille tendons and just recently, a painful hamstring injury. If you want the best care, look no further. Catherine is it!

Catherine's classes are always challenging yet however exhausted one might feel at the beginning of the class, you have a lot more energy at the end. Her playful personality makes an hour of torture seem fun and there's always a few laughs. I began attending because of a foot injury, and despite the challenge of exercises I haven't been able to stop and 8 years has passed by. The satisfaction of knowing you're developing a strong core and other muscle groups entices you to go back each week, without a doubt.
