Just had a second shower dome installed after a very good experience in our previous house with a shower dome for about 10 years. It eliminates moisture issues and enables you to run the shower at a lower temperature, thus saving money. Also the lack of moisture in the bathroom means paint jobs stay in great condition and no potential mould issues. Installation in Palmerston North from the Whanganui franchise holder was professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

We previously installed a showerdome in our ensuite years ago & it has been marvelous, no fogged up mirrors, no mold & mildew and super warm in the Winter. Today we installed another in the kids bathroom as they are getting older & washing more often. Great service (professionally installed by Install a Dome Christchurch) or you can install it yourself.

Having installed showderdomes in both of our previous homes, it was a no brainer to make it the first improvement we made on moving to our current home. Honestly, I can't think of anything else that you can do for your living environment that has such an enormous impact for low cost. The ordering process was simple and response time excellent. Installation was quick and non-disruptive and the benefit is always immediate. We have no hesitation at all in recommending a showerdome to anyone, and not a single person who has taken our suggestion has regretted it. Brilliant way to reduce moisture in your home.

Very happy with our 2 showerdomes. The installer (Simon) turned up exactly on time, did a professional job in the time he said and gave me a run down of the do’s and don’ts of how to care for the showerdome. The product really does cut out condensation in the bathroom and you can have the water at a slightly lower temperature. I would recommend.

I have had my 2nd Showerdome installed recently, made initial contact via the website and was then contacted by a Taupo installer. Once the work was done I noticed that the dome was crooked and not attached in some places and looked awful. I contacted the installer and the same 2 guys came and had a look and said they would return to improve the job....Then, the installation company owner rang and said they were happy with the job and would not return. I then asked Showerdome about the quality of installation and any remedies and was told that they did not deal with installation quality issues as the installers were independent. Good product being let down by one careless installer. I ended up getting A&T Glass in Taupo (A&T were not the original installer) to come and have a look and they then made improvements and all looks much better now. It would be good for Showerdome to have some sort of installation quality grade and mechanism for any issues that may arise. The Showerdome does work, just be careful about installation.

If you are looking for something to buy for your shower, look no further than Showerdome. Getting on installed has made showering much warmer. You will notice that it feels a lot warmer inside your shower,resulting in turning your hot water tap down. It also reduces your condensation, resulting in no more mould. It's a win win. Very happy with the installation and it cuts the condensation in the bathroom to virtually zero. I'm tall and was concerned it might feel claustrophobic under the dome, but its not an issue. Our fitting was for an alcove shower and because of the extra difficulty, I'm glad we had an installer to fit it.

We bought two Showerdomes recently, for two separate Showers, based on the recommendations of several friends and family members. Had to recently repaint the ceiling of one of the Bathrooms, which we think related to there being too much steam created and only a small window for ventilation. The reduction in the amount of steam in the Bathrooms has been very noticeable. The walls and mirror are dry and free of condensation. The increased amount of steam inside the Shower “box” is something that we will easily get used to and the temperature of the water can certainly be lowered. The five people who have used the Showers so far have all given positive reports. We were happy to find that cutting the Dome to the shape of our “boxes” was easier than anticipated. We used an Angle Grinder, with a very narrow cutting wheel but we didn’t go too close to the “line” with that as we thought that a slight misalignment would be too brutal. We made the final cut with a fine bladed hacksaw and that was perfect. The was no time when we thought that the dome would crack. All in all we are very please with the product and the recommendations have proved to be correct. Jeff and Penny Bridger

I highly recommend Showerdome. After a Google search to find details about the product I completed a request form and was contacted by my local installer within a couple of days. An appointment was made and design and size clarified. The fitting was quick and the result is brilliant. Warm showers, reduced heating bill and no steam. 👍

Our bathroom used to get very wet on the walls and ceiling even with the extraction fan on. Now with Showerdome, we don't bother turning the fan on at all and the walls, ceiling and mirror stay dry and steam free. A great product that was a breeze to install. I only wish I'd installed one years ago.

Installed a Showerdome in our previous 2 houses so getting one installed in the family bathroom of our new place was a no-brainer. And thought you had to have a relatively "standard" sized shower to get one but found that not to be the case, so just booked to have one installed over our walk-in shower in our en-suite.

We've had to turn the temperature down, which means less hot water used. The dome works very well. I do have a question. When you finish showering, do you leave the door closed and then open it later for say 30 minutes to remove the moisture? The reason I ask is I have concerns mold could build up in the shower if the water left doesn't escape at some stage. I checked your site for an answer but it didn't cover my query.

The process of buying was easy over the internet, the product arrived quickly, it was the right size. We installed it ourselves, the instructions were helpful but we needed to put some extra bits and pieces on it to fit our custom built shower. This was not a big obstacle. We do like how it keeps the moisture contained, the shower is warmer on these freezing mornings and the mirror doesn't fog up.

I love Shower Domes and have them on all 3 of our showers. We didn't need to install expensive extractor fans, which don't remove all the steam immediately anyway. Our bathrooms are always dry and I don't have to regularly wipe mould off the walls and ceiling. Why would you use anything else?!

Hi, the shower dome is a great investment/ invention. We have been using it for the last 6 months and noticed that our bathroom stays lovely and dry. 👍🏻 It’s also been a great place to stay to dry off with a towel in winter when it’s cold outside and you just want to keep warm. 👍🏻Showers are shorter too 👍🏻. The shower box like all shower boxes gets wet so we always use a squeegee to wipe down the sides. Nothing has changed there. We sometimes leave the door to the shower box open a little to dry the box out after our shower, which isn’t an issue. I just love it! Best investment for us!!

We don't have an exhaust fan in our guest bathroom and we were going to use Stein's Curved turtle Shell but their sizing was just too limiting and now we have Showerdome installed we are very happy with the product. My Dad ended up installing this for us as he's a handyman and we have hardly any condensation in our bathroom now after we got it installed. Shower Dome is one of those rare products that really is as good as the hype. Your bathroom will be free of fog and condensation, and you’ll be warmer in your shower which means you use less hot water. The only negative I’ve noticed is that the water noise is a little louder. Before the walls were like waterfalls as soon as the shower dome was installed the waterfall dried up in other words these things work. I would not be with one now. I install a showerdome in every house I move to. I have installed 5 so far and am currently arranging to extend an existing glass surround so I can install the dome above a rain shower rose. It is no only supremely practical, it is environmental too - you need a cooler water temp while showering and no chlorine-based cleaners to remove mold because it will no longer grow in your bathroom.

I moved to a new home in July. I found I had a lot of condensation settling on the bathroom walls after a shower. The walls were too high to wipe down so I had to leave the heat lamps and extractor fan running for 15 to 20 minutes after every shower. Even then I wasn't certain they were dry and was anticipating mould treatment and painting before long. As soon as the Showerdome was installed the problem was solved. I could see that when I opened the shower door the small amount of steam was immediately sucked away by the extractor fan. (All the rest of the steam had condensed within the shower cubicle, run down the walls and out through the drain!) So, I thoroughly recommend fitting a Showerdome, and also recommend getting one of the installers to fit it rather than DIY. They have done dozens, so know how to get it fitted tidily and correctly with no fuss.

Super easy contacting our installer ,he called around that day, as he was close by He rang and let me know that he was ordering our dome as it is an odd size , so would be a two day wait for courier due to covid19 install was delayed until level three. the installer took around two hrs he cleaned up any mess and was professional and friendly. We have purchased two showerdomes, the first one we installed ourselves, wasn't too hard but definately need a jigsaw to do it. The other we had installed, which was a lot less hassle. Very pleased with the results in both bathrooms, no musty damp smells anymore, no mould growth on the ceilings and best of all, it's really nice and warm when showering - no cold drafts coming in over the top. It probably reduces the hot water usage with not having to have the shower so hot. We can highly recommend installing a showerdome.

An *essential* addition to a shower. Didn't realise what we were missing until we installed our Showerdome. No more bathroom steam, dripping walls, or mouldy spots on the ceiling. Keeps all of the warmth in the shower too, so we don't have to run the water so hot, which benefits the hot water bill. We'll be installing one of these wherever we go from now on (unless the house has one already). It's worth installing a shower cubicle if you have an open bath or shower alcove - just to get the benefits of the Showerdome.

I love my showerdome - no steam at all so i never use my bathroom fan and no foggy mirrors. Some people think it is like s team room in your shower bu no steam is generated at all. This the second house I have installed a shower dome and I highly recommend it. Just remember to open it up after about half an hour to help dry out the shower!

Had a Showerdome fitted and it's been terrific. The negative is that once you switch off the shower you don't want to get out of the cubicle as it's so nice and cosy. It's amazing and can basically eliminate bathroom steam. I installed it myself with minimal fuss. The one warning is if you have a sliding door on your shower (as ours does) there is some shower modification needed to have this outcome. It's not made for sliding doors.

I was having major problems with water on the walls from my shower as it is a really hi pressure shower....i rang the team at Showerdome and got some advice and within the week had an installer out to my house and installed the product. Not wanting to suck all the heat out of the bathroom through the extractor fan or open the window and let in the cold, I would be left with a vapour filled room after a shower. I had Showerdome installed, and the problem was solved. No need to extract air or open the window, and no fog wetting the walls and mirrors. Success!

Its an amazing product, we used to have mouldy spots in the ceiling of the shower but after fixing the showerdome we totally got out of that issue.. We had a showerdome in our ensuite for a long time and it was wonderful so when we had to redo our ensuite and were considering getting an extractor fan for the other bathroom, I suddenly thought... a showerdome would be easier and cheaper to install than an extractor fan and ducting etc so we got showerdomes for each shower and as expected hardly any steam (as long as you can train your family to shut the door until after the shower has cooled down) no water running down the walls (even with 2 teenage girls, long showers) and we are happy customers again.

We installed a Showerdome in our children's bathroom around six years ago, it has reduced wear & maintenance in the bathroom, as it is much drier, the painted walls are in great shape compared to the second bathroom, without a showerdome where there is mould near the ceiling & the paint is peeling from half way up the walls, it has a very high stud & the moisture rises, I have to paint it this summer, I highly recommend showerdome to deduce maintenance costs, we will be buying a second before winter.
