Right from the first inquiry, Aaron was responsive, helpful and considerate of our situation (leaked in the hot water cylinder). Of all the companies we contacted Aaron was the only one t offer us simple advice to confirm what the issue might be and help progress the resolution more quickly. Once we identified that we needed to replace the cylinder (we change to gas hot water) Aaron was again the most responsive .to our request and was able to squeeze us into an already busy line up for him with others ranging from a few days longer to after the holiday season....... Finally, despite the day of install being absolutely miserable Aaron was professional and cheerful, delivering everything that he said he would when he said he would. In all honesty - I could not recommend Smartflow highly enough.

Aaron did work on my laundry renovation. He did a great job and was very quick replying to my requests for the work to be done. He turned up on time and completed the work very quickly. His charges were very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aaron and Smartflow Plumbing and Gas to anyone needing a good reliable plumber.

Aaron was prompt to reply to our initial request, diagnosed and fixed a hot water system leak in the roof as quickly as possible. He also made an extra fixture to alleviate any possibility of leaks in the roof penetrating the plaster ceiling again. He took photos of the problem and explained it very clearly. His charges were very reasonable.

Aaron was very good at explaining his recommended solution and why he chose that option. In my case he explained why we couldnt improve the water pressure significantly without replacing the hot water cylinder. Consequently we will endure the low water pressure for now and save our money for the bathroom rennovation later in the year! Upshot is i saved some money and am now clear on solutions to incorporate in our renno in a few months time , very happy😁 we will definately have Aaron back for the rennovation😊

Aaron was great to deal with and didn’t hesitate booking in an appointment even with short notice. He was clear in his communication about what needed to be done and was honest about it being a short term fix. Due to his professionalism and friendly approach, I asked to to finish the job within the next week; which he did. Awesome service! Aaron was quick on the scene and prompt with repairing the leak. Out of the 4 plumbing companies I've used, this one will now be the first one I'll call. He was very knowledgeable and provided good advice regarding preventative measures and potential risks with my piping.

Aaron has been brilliant to deal with. He has been responsive with coming out to assess what needs to be done with both jobs that I have used him for (fixing our gas fire and then leaking header tank at our rental). I worked with Aaron to connect up gas heating for my cooktop n water, along with installing a gas fire alongside eqc repairs. I found Aaron an absolute gem to work with. Nothing to difficult n he explained how everything works clearly. I had complete trust in him to be left to do the work n has always been willing to come round or advise me if I had any queries or concerns. Would highly recommend him!

Great plumbing knowledge and always willing to share and explain in layman's terms. Smartflow installed a new hot water heater then reviewed and optimized the reticulation. I now have a lovely hot and high pressure shower immediately after turning the mixer! The workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding, a very professional finish.

Aaron responded to my phone message the same day and came around the next day to fix my leaking hot water cylinder pipe, and also installed a pedestal basin in the bathroom. All the work was done efficiently and neatly, and for a very reasonable fee. I was very happy with his efforts.

Aaron carried out all plumbing and gas work on my new build house in Akaroa, in the past he also carried out one off jobs in a villa we own in Christchurch. An easy going person who delivers what he said he would, on time and for the price agreed upfront. I really liked how methodical he is, especially the time spent pre install making sure everything is right upfront.
