L.After asking for quotes for the installation of a new gas stove and electric oven at several places, Hutt Gas were the only ones with a reasonable quote AND able to do the job within a month. All other places had a three to four month waiting list. The ladies who did the insatallation were professional and punctual. The office ladies were very helpful too. We have already lined up another job with them. Totally recommendable.

D.We have used Hutt Gas & Plumbing on a number of occasions, to repair leaks, fix cisterns, and replace vent pipes, but primarily for gas services such as gas appliance installation, maintenance and most recently removal of an old unflued heater. They have always been proficient, polite and on time, including calling ahead to confirm their appointment and ETA. Their workmanship is excellent. What we really appreciate is the little extras unrelated to the job they were on, like putting sealant where required in the bathroom after noticing the renovators didn't do it, and fixing the access gate to the crawl space under the house when it had come loose from its hinges.
H.Plumber/gas fitter came to service our aging instant hot water system. Great service, and very friendly communication. Will definitely use them again when we need to replace the unit ( which could be quite soon! )

J.Booked a service for my Bosch gas C/H boiler. Service engineer phoned and asked if he could come early due to a cancellation. Arrived on time and proceeded to carry out service. He had never worked on this type of boiler but proceeded to expertly carry out the service in the manner he had been shown by the manufacturer. All his work was methodical and very tidy. Very impressed. Will use again for oncoming services/ repairs.

F.Thanks so much to the team at Hutt Gas & Plumbing for the super fast service repairing our only source of heating, a gas central heating system, just before a nasty southerly was due to hit during lockdown. The technician was around within an hour of our call for help and totally observed all the strict protocols of the lockdown requirements. He fixed the problem without any issues for which we are very grateful. We highly recommend them!

The service in all respects is of a very high standard and importantly this has been consistent over a number of years. Service people are invariably polite and their attention to detail is most reassuring. At the end of any work the appliance and the area around is left in a very clean and tidy manner. The office staff are very easy to deal with and excel in their representation of the company. Recommend highly and without doubt will continue to use their services for our gas appliances.

We had multiple issues around a busy time of year however this did not stop them from doing the best they could. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. J.These guys have done a number of jobs for me. I have new tenants who said they had found a small gas leak, they have a new born so time was an imperative. I was out of town at the time. I phoned with the details then Colleen phone back to say they had sent someone around, then they phoned again to advised it was sorted (quicker than tenants). They are my go to given the high level of service etc. J

(Well, as minimal as was possible when everything was being shifted from one side of the kitchen to another!) Olivia from Hutt Gas and Plumbing came two days after we called (on-time, and early) and plumbed off the washer, AND removed it, AND even took care of the joinery that we needed done.
This was all done in the time we had booked, with no fuss or problem.
She also looked at some of our other pipes and showed us some stuff to keep an eye on.
Can't recommend this outfit highly enough, and while I hope to never have to call a plumber again, we wouldn't use anyone else if we did need a plumber.
P.Thoroughly competent, very responsive and friendly firm. They bought together all the plumbing and electrical skills needed to replace a hot water cylinder at short notice. I'd happily deal with Hutt Gas & Plumbing again...

A.Awesome company, thanks to Josh, Miri and Mel for making it all happen. Our fire place stopped working mid-winter, they squeezed us in immediately. It turned out we needed a new part which looks weeks to arrive on courier mid Covid. They kept us up to date and within 20mins of it arriving they let us know, booked us in and Josh arrived again 2 hours later. He was fantastic, so professional and thorough. He paid super attention to detail so all the logs in our gas fire were put back perfectly. It's never looked or worked as good. Thanks team
