E.Came to Anthology Lounge for a gig and it was great! Service was friendly and quick for drinks, the staff kept the tables tidy in between sets, and they were great to accommodate and support such an awesome night.
The bathrooms were a bit of a mess but that's what happens at a gig I suppose.
J.Excellent live music venue, downstairs and directly opposite Cocos Cantina on K Road. Excellent bar selection with Scapegrace Gin and beautiful wines - not a cheap Jacobs Creek or Kopiko Bay in sight! LOL
T.Anthology Lounge beneath Cotto on K Rd is the perfect chill out wine and cocktail lounge with the option of live music. Staff is fantastic and attentive and bar itself is brooding, intimately lit with an ambiance of live jazz underground club. The wine selection is fantastic and their cocktails are impressive. Highly recommended!

J.From the door man's warm reception to the professionalism of the ops manager running the place one of the best examples of hospo thanks Cymone and the bouncers James and David made our night 😊 nice sized space and bar to host a gig or party would highly recommend.
E.Nice venue, great artwork, v good staff who kept their cool in a packed audience...and remembered what people were ordering when they came for seconds...or thirds! Ponsonby prices on drinks but I loved the fact it was real fizzy mixers not tap. Only having 2 toilets was causing large queues, and a bit more seating would be perfect after an hour or two of dancing! Would happily attend more live music here.
E.Brendon Lovegrove has created a great new venue for comedy. With new and established acts, and an intimate venue, you'll be laughing all night long. I highly recommend a visit here on Thursday nights, you won't be disappointed.
R.Beautiful space, great staff and cocktails. Perfect after some delicious food upstairs at Cotto! Looking forward to checking out as the space evolves and on a night with a crowd / music - was quiet and late on a Wednesday when we went.
Edit: Not a particularly great time on our next visit.. normally love the service from Cotto and downstairs but this was definitely an off night for Anthology. Ah well, will give it another shot soon!
F.Involved with JX Live production crew for shooting a music video for New Zealand jazz band Munkhouse. Great venue for hire for live bands, staff experienced, calm and friendly.
S.Went to see a friends band play. First time here and the place had a good vibe. Very cosy, small bar but friendly staff from those on the floor to those at the bar.
L.Nice place. I went with my partner to listen jazz. The atmosphere is good and comfortable. A little bit cold but it is ok. I recommend it.

M.Has a underground feel. With a class of it's own. Cannot quite explain it's uniqness, but I love the place and recommend a visit. Staff and atmosphere is so warm.

S.Anthology Lounge has a resoundingly simple effect of sexy elegance due to its unapologetic yet humble and dedicated prompt nature of service and dispensation of local knowledge, especially whereas concerned with their upcoming variety of gigs, I’d highly recommend this venue for the warm nature of its staff and it’s general atmosphere in which you are very much a part of creating! 😉😌❤️🙏🏼🤙🏼
N.Not a bad place, I wasn't here for too long. Only went to watch a friend play. I quite liked the industrial feel it had with the exposed ceiling.
