I went on a Monday afternoon, so it was very quiet. It looks like a lovely place, where people can hang out and catch up. There's TVs everywhere, pool tables, and a designated smoking area. There are two big outdoor areas, which is lovely in summer. I did think that $10 was quite steep for a beer, even if it was imported. I also thought the food menu was a bit dear, so I didn't order food. I asked the one lady if I could take some photos, and she said yes. But then the (I think owner) got upset and asked why I was taking photos. It's still think it is a nice place, which somewhat reminds me of home (South Africa). The decor was a bit typical and generic "Africa".

Plenty of parking on site or out the front available. Outdoor seating during the warmer months is also very spacious. The bar itself is large with plenty of beers on tap as well as all your favourite spirits. Pool tables and gaming machines are on site along with the option for karaoke. Pricing is a wee bit high, overall relaxing place for a cold drink

Little off the beaten track located more in an industrial area so plenty of parking and large outdoor areas. Nicely African theme inside and out with staff genuinely friendly and efficient.

Awesome atmosphere to wine and dine, very spacious and staff are great with a exquisite line of food to eat and enjoy. Family had a wonderful time and fully loved the meals. Would recommend this place to all and definitely return for another round 👍

Cosy quiet place but very low quality coffee (machine made noise brewed). Live band on Saturday noons. Don’t expect any flash or quick service.

One of my favorite bars on the Shore. Plenty of room and rarely really crowded, it provides people with my wants and needs - a place to have a reasonably quiet, peaceful drink and chat with friends - the perfect venue. A full range of drinks and good food options - all at very reasonable prices and with very good bar staff and a genuine pommy owner/chef! Also great venue for birthdays and events but you need to book in advance as its very popular for celebrations of this nature. Oh - and don't miss the sexy costume waitresses from 5pm to 7pm on Thursdays!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the bar staff for their patience and kind attitude last Saturday. I brought my staff in after attending the funeral of a staff member who died tragically at the age of 25. He was well liked by all his work colleagues in our small family business. The Bar staff at Out of Africa were particularly kind and patient when some our our guys over indulged due to the loss of their friend. The Bar staff were professional and followed the required rules but handled things in a sensitive manner. Thank you again, we will come back next time under happier circumstances.

Accidentally attended on a Thursday which we discovered was bikini Thursday. Not really being a perv I felt a little out of place. At 7pm the bikinis disappeared and it turned into a normal evening of pool and drinks. Would not recommend before 7pm on a Thursday if you're on a first date other then that it's pretty much what you expect from a neighbourhood bar.
