Amazing place to come for BBQ. Recommend going for the brisket and ribs but go for the Buffalo hot sauce. Service friendly and casual. I’m surprised it wasn’t more busy for on a Saturday at noon.

Rob was a great host at Brothers beers, really helpful and knowledgeable on the products and gave some excellent suggestions on the food. Plentiful beer options on tap and the food was excellent. Quirky joint with some eclectic design ideas and a very cool DVD collection!

Loved my time at Brothers Beer. Great knowledgeable staff who were really helpful in choosing what to drink (the guy from Belgium!!) . Fantastic selection of beers with a really diverse menu. Not overly expensive for the quality of good craft beers available. Would recommend this bar to any beer lover.

Two and a half years and I finally got back to the local beer heaven. So relaxing and unique, and has tons of board games for groups and magazines for solo entertainment. Not only do they have like 15 taps, but they also sell TONS of individual bottles too. Ultra friendly staff. Outdoor seating as well.
For note, bathrooms are a few doors down.

On a quiet Sunday afternoon we met up with friends here for a few pints of good craft beer. We were some of the only patrons visiting so pretty much had the place to ourselves; friendly enough service but the staff were clearly bored with the pace of proceedings. However this didn’t affect our experience, as we happily whiled away a few hours chatting and enjoying our drinks. My friends were into the cider so happily imbibed the Zeffer Crumble Cider on offer, while I went for more of a range, one IPA from the tap and a hearty Hallertau Stout from the fridge.
To accompany our drinks I ordered a four-cheese pizza, and it was top notch. The all important factor of a thin and crispy base accounted for, the topping of cheese was generous and oozing with a good dab of blue cheese for saltiness, and it arrived quickly and decently hot.
They do take the retro-hipster aesthetic to heart, everything from the chintzy furniture to the thunderbirds island playset on the counter. But these touches fill up the rather industrial space nicely and it certainly is a social hub on a Friday or Saturday night. A very commendable venue for a meetup for sure.

Great beer, great bartenders, if you bring great company you will have a great time. This was my first beer stop in Auckland and the bartender lead me through picking one of the better flights I have had the opportunity to enjoy. Cheers mate

Just had the $89 deal. Wings, ribs & brisket with 4 sides. Can easily feed 4 hungry people. Amazing value and the food was spot on!

Great 1-2 after brunch at Odettes. Flights of beer are $18. Lots of board games to kill the time. I didn’t get the pizzas but they looked amazing.

Great spot for a really tasty craft beer and nice food. The service was friendly and really helpful and knowledgable about the beers on offer. The food was really nice and the atmosphere and decor was nice and relaxed. I am glad to have found this little gem and recommend going slightly out of the CBD to give it a try.

Awesome beer selection, love the Thunderbird and Tintin references. Comfy couches in which you can enjoy your flight. The guys working here are super nice and helpful. A must go in Auckland🍺! (+there's free wifi)
