Cameron pools has a great facility for both leisurely swimming and for those who want to train. Lanes are marked either for fast, medium, or play. The pools are really clean and we'll maintained, the same can be said about the sauna and changing rooms. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. There is also a dedicated gym section, a small store to purchase flippers, goggles and swim caps along with other items. At the main entrance there is a cafe but this was closed when I visited. Overall a really great swimming pool.

Nice place. Well maintained by YMCA which is I guess owned by Auckland council. Affordable entry or membership fees. They have fully furnished gym, pool, sauna, steam room and group exercise classes as well. They also provide swimming lessons for kids and adults.

The facility itself and the staff are good. Poor lane discipline in the pool, expect to have kids playing in your swimming lane. Lots of people in the gym sit on the equipment, play on their phones and don't seem to be doing any exercise. Maybe pay the staff more?

Good Local Facilities Sauna is on point but due to 'Red light' restrictions is unfortunately Limited to 4 at a time so please be prepared to wait and share with your fellow Humans or Alien Hybrids Spa has a limit of 10 so it's party time in the Hot Tub Time Machine...

I use it regularly thrice a week but found maintenance, housekeeping not up to standard. The bath areas/ walls are slimy and the pool, needs cleaning.. over the past 6-8 months there has been a decline

The place is community driven. Some staff really care. However, the change rooms really make you cringe very dirty and yucky. My son refuses to shower. Please can the council do something about it?

We go there for our toddler's swimming lessons. The pool and it's changing rooms are always very clean. The coach are friendly. The pool is always warm too.

Staff are good but it can depend on the shift. Clean pool area. spa, sauna and steam room been recently redone. Not really suitable for people in wheelchairs as it's always to get into the pool and spa. Gym surrounds the pool both up and down stairs. Has small pool ship and cafe onsite. Swimming lessons here are really well done with great instructors.

Swimming, spa and dancing classes are very good there. But sometimes, there are too many people there, so you have to avoid the Peak off time. A male white guy at reception is the Best customer service person there. You feeling at home when you go there at his duty.

Cam Pools has gotten considerably better since its upgrade in the start of 2018. I would give it 5 stars if the sauna door didn't have a gaping hole at the bottom which causes the heat to dissipate rather quickly. The range of gym equipment is extensive and in good condition. Pools are clean and staff are very hospitable. Cameron Pools is my go to swimming hole and I visit at least once a week.

Mixed feelings about this place. Way too many things going at one time. Spa and Jacuzzi were on/off a quite some time. No place dedicated for casual swimmers or self learners. Staff is very good but seems they also don't have much choice than to follow the traditions.

Cameron Pools is operated by the YMCA in conjunction with Auckland Council. It also has a gym and provides discounts to those on a Green Prescription. They offer swimming lessons and group classes. Cameron Pools also provides a sauna and steam spa. The Pools have good hours, so you can visit after work which is cool if you have a busy schedule. Sometimes the pool is busy, but you can ring ahead and check on lane availability. The changing rooms are nice and clean as well.

Service has deteriorated in recent months. Whenever we are there either one thing or another is not working. Sometimes the sauna not working, sometimes the bubbles in the spa not working. Most frustrating is the group that booked the Nan's pool on Tuesday do not keep to time and management doesn't care a damn about it. When they should have vacated by 7:15 pm last evening, they still haven't when we have to leave at 7:50 pm. Very bad. Hope things changes soon.

Staff are super friendly & helpful. The swim scool has great teachers & instructors, especially Tracey - she's amazing! Has been teaching our 3yr old since he was 6mths old & is now also teaching our 10mth old. Renovations were done the last 2 years & the staff sis a great job of continuing to run the swim school without any disruption to us families.

I've been in the swimming for almost a decade. 2.5 years I've been part on nans pool and 3.5 years I've joined on swim school. And then I've hang.around the pool for two days for almost each week. The service was very friendly to me and the price is affordable using my membership card to entry to the pool area.

Love this place is great with great pool, giant spa, steam and sauna rooms & 2 gyms plus a dedicated kids pool. Great staff and heaps of parking. Oh, also has a swim shop, cafe and swim school.

I love these pools! Only drawback is that one lifeguard fancies himself a DJ and plays gangsta rap annoyingly loud whenever he is on. Other then that, it's a great place!

Our baby takes his swim lessons here, in the kid pool. It's fun and interactive. (He started when he was 8months old) The parent gets to go in with the baby and follow the instructions given.

Beautiful location, but their coomon pool area is not that clean compared to Mt Albert wave pool. Parking? Thousands!!! Its a nice place to walk and relax too.. Lots of kids activities around the area like slides,swings etc

1. Somebody wrote 9 months ago, " Showers only dribble water ". This is still true in the men's showers. (OK if only 1 or two are showering.) This is counter-productive and silly, because soap can be washed off far faster if there is a "slucing" action provided by squirty water. Also, a person showering wastes water while having to press the button every few seconds. These must be simple plumbing corrections - put a flow limiter (if needed at all) for each shower instead of what seems to be a single limiter covering all showers. 2. There seems to be no evidence of anybody in management actually reading these reviews. It would be courteous to provide relevant responses, as Onehunga does. Does nobody care? It comes across as rude.

The centre is pretty good , speaking in terms of the pool and the jacuzzi however the cafe which is to the right of the entrance as you come in is a real find the lady is really friendly and has some great conversation! :)

Arnold Fawcett. A truly honest physio. No bull. Tells you what he thinks is wrong. If unsure tells you what he will work on first. Great assessment and sound problem solving skills. We r on in severe pain. Walked out easier. Look forward to next session. As a physio myself I would definitely recommend this chap.
