Lastnight was fun i really enjoyed my first time at a club/event , i met some pretty cool people & the staff are kind, friendlyy & jus awsome , teapot drinks r real yummy n cheap , love the vibe the venue seemed small n a few bathroom issues... that will surely be delt with but despite that cassette 9 is really good place to go for a night out , loved the experience thankyous

Hip little spot with a great balcony and gorgeous, friendly and helpful staff. They have a pub dog 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and a wide selection of drinks. I found the teapot cocktails a bit too sweet for my palate but I think they are made to share as shots given the presentation. Worth a visit! (FYI no disabled access)

Cassette Nine will be my hangout spot whenever I am in New Zealand. My friends and I walked past looking for a place to eat. It was after 9pm so most restaurants were no longer serving food. Moses, the bouncer, gave us some food options then began talking about the establishment, the DJs, the Tuesday international visitors raffle (yes they raffle off excursions and other prizes so visitors so can get to experience NZ for free), etc... we left to find food but returned to check it out. The music was great and we danced the night away. If you go tell Moses we sent you 😊

I had booked and paid for a private venue hire at Cassette but was later informed they could no longer accommodate my party. Fortunately the lovely Natalie has gone above and beyond to find a new venue so my party can go ahead. I can not thank her enough for all her efforts. Wonderful customer service. Thanks so much!

It's a hit and miss, if you're after some of the finest up and coming live music this is the place to go! However, gigs only happen irregularly, make sure to check on Facebook whether there are any events on. There will definitely be music here every night, just not live music all the time.

The teapots here are really good and tasty. There is quite a large variety of drinks and food. The food is really yum. There is a good seating area but also space to dance later on in the night. The staff are always friendly. There is often live music on here. Lots of fun times have been had here.

This bar is really unique. They serve all their alcohol in teapots and the bartenders are really friendly. The ambience is really good...good lighting and colour scheme. It is nice and quiet on the weekdays and a raging party on the weekend. I recommend it for anyone looking for a sick night on the town.

This is a bar but honestly its a great place for an early dinner with friends, especially during the weekday when there is less people around. The menu is limited to mainly burgers and fried chicken, but they know how to do it well. The guy who served our table was super friendly and such a cool dude to chat to. After dinner, you can always stay for drinks and wait for the place to fill up with more people if you then decide you are in the party mood.

Teapots are a super cool idea and there's plenty to choose from. They have Speights on tap which is what brings me here to be honest! It's actually quite nice mid afternoon when it is a bit quieter. Staff seem friendly too :)

The time at cassette nine was really good. Delicious cocktails were also the best. But I just want to let people know about the experience I had here. The feeling of the bar itself is very good, so if you do not want to read about anything else, I'd like youguys to hand it over! Thank you :) So.. I still have memories of racism. 1. A man suddenly put his cup on our table and then left the bar (the cup was empty, so the cup had to be returned to the bar). We were very angry at the rude behavior he was throwing away the trash (an empty cup he had eaten all of it inside) to us. 2. And the staff continued to open the kettle-shaped bottle containing the liquor we were eating, without any words of appreciation. we felt like we were being ignored because he suddenly showed up and ran through the liquor bottle we were still eating. I think his actions were rude to others. We clearly have the ability to speak in English. Nevertheless, some people acted rude to us simply because we are Asian. I was enjoying the time at the bar, but some events made my mood unpleasant. But one thing is clear. casette nine itself is perfect and the best bar!

Love this place! Teapot is a must try! Cassette Nine is a very stylish bar. Normally after 10pm they would have live DJ and then you know it’s the time to dance! This is a relatively small place, but I like how everything is laid out. There are quite a few booths available if you planning for a group of people out. I love this place as it has great music and vibe, which I could still talk to my friends when going out without yelling to each other, but could enjoy some fun music at the same time. So if you are the same, Cassette Nine is a must-go bar for you!

Favorite club in Auckland CBD. Most of the time really nice music. The bathrooms are not the best but yeah the rest is good. The teapots and their balcony are the best things here. Try the teapots!! The prices are alright. Good happy hours offers.

Went here for a colleague's last day and got wasted. We had some tasty cocktails which are served in Tea Pots (Yes, you read it right. No, I wasn't that wasted yet). These were followed by some beers and tequilla shots. The place has a live band like most of the good places in Auckland. They band wasn't particularly good. Like it. Just dont love it. :-)

I do love Cassette 9, an excellent bar, awesome vibe and more often than not they have really good gigs! Although on Saturday the 21st Nov, I was served by an extremely rude girl, who was absolutely horrible and clearly had a additude problem. I would not return if I knew she was there working. Otherwise, great!
