Cool spot on the corner here 👌🏼 Only dropped in for a cheeky wine after a spot of shopping up the road, but loved the decor, atmosphere and the fries!

The place was nice, the staff in the reception or recieving area was nice and food is okay. However, our waiter was kinda rude to us. We went for a good time and left feeling bummed about it. We kinda just left cause we thought, he was having a bad time but nonetheless it ruined the night for us, that's why I'm giving it a three star.

Fantastic service here. The guys sat us down, took our order and delivered our drinks to the table. They even came and asked if we wanted another when we were nearing the end. When I had a second beer and my wife didn't want one, they bought her a glass of ice water with lime wedge. Lovely spot by the window on a warm day.

If you like a quiet drink this may not be for you... but if music on 11/10 doesnt faze you then it is a great little spot for a drink and some good tucker after your shopaholic wife has dragged you from one end of Ponsenby St to the other... PS they must have read this as they just turned it down to 8/10 and changed it to good old Fleetwood Mac... : -)

The owner was very accommodating to our needs and was lovely to deal with. He went over and above to assist us which is very rare in Auckland. A great stop off for bikers as there is great parking right outside with the owners blessing to park there also which most places dont allow. 5 star!!

Not a massive fan of this bar as I've had rather mixed experiences in the past. It was quiet this particular Friday night and we were only here to see a friend hit the decks. Would probably come again as the staff are cool.

A couple mates and I went on a little bar search last night and came across this place. The staff are friendly, and welcoming. The drinks were delicious. My favourite was the Passionfruit and Mango Mojito. Next time I go back, I would like to try the food as the food I saw leaving the kitchen looked very appetising. Great work guys, I looked forward to coming back!!!

II remember this place as one of Auckland earliest restaurants. Pleasing to find it still fulfilling this function, had some lovely wine, sitting on a outside table/bench watching the world rushing by. Owner/manager very friendly and made our visit special.

Professional, friendly staff and a cool vibe all round. Given the furniture I thinks it's modelled after a old fashioned high school chapel. The food there is surprisingly good, highly recommend the Gao buns of they are still on the menu.😁

Holy communion is the best time to go. Sunday sermons are ok, but if BR is there he tends to get on it and a bit lippy - ‘preaching’ some might say. The Pastor is a good dude, but don’t let him take you upstairs to the office - you’ll come back with a centre parting.

Great pub food, the potato’s served with my steak were top of the range and exactly what I was craving. Good selection of beers from Monteith’s and music was played at a volume that wasn’t obnoxious. Big thanks to Warren (my partner left her jacket with her purse at the venue) our vacation could have been in dire straits without the honesty of yourself and your staff members.

Great spot to grab a drink as it is in a good location in Ponsonby. I wouldn't eat here, just because there are so many amazing restaurants to eat at on the same road. The bathrooms are a bit dated and tired.

Popped in for a glass of wine and some lunch. We had the fish tacos, Pork ribs, which were fab and a lot of meat which just fell off the bone. And the Apple slaw on the side. Some of the best ribs I have tasted, you really have to eat here.

Grilled chicken is amazing and flavourful. Years ago I had this chicken beast stuffed with crushed pistachios and it was the best food I'd ever had in my life. If you guys ever want to make that again I would be so happy! Also, mac n cheese bites were divine.
