Quite a few vegan options! Ratatouille, chips and dumplings were so nice. Our waiter was amazing as well. Not too badly priced too.

Great place for a feed.. was really happy to see Gurnard available.. unfortunately it was a little over cooked.. I should have gone for no batter and enjoy my fav fish nude/pan fried.. but it all tasted excellent.. the chippies are perfect. Good service and staff. I always enjoy it here.

Food was great, nothing fancy but very decent pub fare. Staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. Obviously a local hangout, which is always a good sign. Cold beers and a feed, what more can you ask for :)

Great wee spot. Lovely people, unpretentious and old skool charm. Food is a simple and nicely done menu. Hard working bunch of people there and would certainly recommend and go back there but remember its old skool NZ (don't expect all the food you order to come out at the same time) and all the better for it!

Well I guess it was a long weekend and they had run out out certain parts of their menu.. so I ordered steak it was really good! But just a bit stingy on their wine pours..aways under the line??? You know a glass of wine is extremely expensive as it is without pouring it short..won't be back in a hurry..

Great venue. Friendly and efficient staff. Food and drinks menu offer a good selection. Spare Ribs are beautiful as is the fresh fish. A great small community feel about the place. Well worth a visit.

The manager Amy such a lovely sweet lady, who runs a amazing team you can see the bond the Staff have. Rack of ribs is the bomb, meat just falls of the bone, delicious! Better then anywhere else!! S&P squid is also highly addictive!

The food was, quick, inexpensive, and a really nice adult meal. The kids meals were great too. And the 2 ladies on deck were both charming and super efficient. Kinda glad the best fish and chips shop in nz had turned up its toes and we ended up here as a result. Awesome value

Good coffee, great food, can do shared plates if you ask. Someone else can drive next time so I can try their wine selection. Admittedly a quiet night but I like it quiet. (It also helped that the Silver Ferns won the world cup on TV; sorry but they probably can't offer that as a regular feature. 😋)

Great friendly service. We arrived with 6 adults and 5 kids, put the kids at a separate table and we were treated so well. We even got the low down on the history from our entertaining waiter. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great food and prices. Relaxed atmosphere. We had Steak meal, CCC burger meal a kids sausage meal and a Blue Cheese burger meal. Nothing left over. Will definitely be back again!
