Love this place, especially in times of Covid - like a well oiled machine. Loads of seating outside and by the water. Order online and manage your tab online. Great relaxed and friendly service. Food is fresh, tasty and much better than most pub grub. Excellent place to go if you can kayak in!

Have been a few times and had an awesome experience. Food, ambience, beer all fantastic! Staff always exceptional - accommodating and friendly. Post lock down I’m grateful they enforce the vaccine passport and check ID- it made our group of friends and family safe and we could relax and really enjoy ourselves post a tough long lockdown. Also have incredible ventilation with the hanger windows open. Shout out to the New Year’s Day staff who were so upbeat and powered through what seemed like a very busy day! My recommendations are the spicy calamari/ squid and a cold Catalina lager! Photo of our view from our New Year’s Day lunch.

I have always liked little creatures. Like the new outside area and the simple ordering method. Food always good. Beer excellent. A good local. I even have the t-shirt somewhere that they were giving away when they were opening.

Good vibes, good service and good food ! Due to COVID, they only have one entrance and heaps of people go to front (exit). They should really put a better sign of where the entrance is!

The Creatures Bar is a great place to meet friends & family at. So much to choose from the menu. Lovely wines and craft beer. My friends love catching the ferry over to meet me for lunch. The new Seaside Beer Garden overlooking the water was a great addition. Well done guys. I look forward to seeing you all again.

These guys have it together in every way location, great food, good selection of many drinks and the service is exceptional. We felt very secure going there they ask for our passport and ID really doing there best to protect us as customers and the business. Prices medium to high but for the location you have to expect that. Portions are generous Will always go back when we can

Delicious loaded fries! Best I've had in a long time. Limited menu due to COVID but they seem to have kept the favourites. Just be mindful that if you are seated outside there is no table service.

Absolutely love the vibe and food there! We are vegetarians and was blown away by the delicious truffle mushrooms pizza and the loaded fries! Buffalo cauliflowers are so good too!!! Really 10/10 for food and also the service! Thank you for feeding us with such good food and taking care of us too.

Went today and sat in their outside garden area where you scan a code to order and pay at the table with less interactions. Such an awesome set up and really well done. The staff were all lovely and processes used are the best I’ve seen in hospo so far. Thanks team for an awesome lunch!

Older review below. Ben fixed all that was wrong and I have been back 2 times since. Problem with the food seems to be just on that day. Exactly the same food was perfect. They have talked to the staff and fixes the issues. Went it with great expectations. Well I can't say too much really, the food was on the expensive side $60 for burger and lamb. The burger which I had was dreadful. Tasted like a reheated fatty creature, was not fresh, think fresh but replace that taste with buttery oil. We just won't be back sorry.

Great meal and service as always. It is hard in Covid times to get all things right and the separation of the bathroom facilities might be one that could be a little improved. Staying in bubbles and separating them is ideal - perhaps the time between the day and night diners might have been used wisely with cleaning the areas of the women's toilets. The broken tap was splashing everywhere on the floor and there were bits of tissue scattered and damp. Just a little disappointing and obviously noted by many.

I went here for dinner on my birthday a few days ago. The staff are really welcoming and friendly as could be. Big area outdoor seating and from what I could see indoors was huge I didn't go inside tho. My son knocked his juice over straight away (kids aye) trent was really good about it gave another one on the house. Trent gets huge brownie points in my book he was cool. Would definitely come back here

Great vibe and good food. toasted veg is really tasty, the highlight is the seasonings which is kind of taco mix spices. The beer I ordered is aromatic and can taste the lychee flavor.

Still a great place to meet and eat some very yummy food. Excellent service and the servers are always smiling and are soooo friendly, even when 'not so nice' people give them a hard time about having to present a vaccine pass. That shouldn't happen! Those people should just STAY HOME! I appreciate all the extra work the staff do to keep patrons safe. I will definitely eat here again, as long as the current policy remains. Thanks and take care

Had a great time, waitress and waiter were friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. The only reason it's not a 5 star review is that after the main meal was served we were forgotten about - no-one came to offer dessert or more drinks etc.

Great place and great beer! I love Little Creatures beers, their brewery is just the full experience. They have pizzas and lots of plates to share while having a beer. The self-service system works perfectly too. You order and pay on your phone and your beer and food come to your table in minutes. Awesome weekend spot in Hobsonville.

It was ok. Food was average - chicken burger had no seasoning on the chicken which was a bit weird. The first beer I had tasted slightly old - the second was fine though.

Right at the Harbour front, big place to cater for over 100 for sure. Flat white but in the strong side and was warm, fish n chips was good small portion for a main, Lager was very nice. Service was very friendly and food came out super fast. Great place to bring family.

For our first foray out after lockdown a small group of us went to Little Creatures for lunch. As expected, great food and beer, but also great processes for dealing with the hospitality Covid restrictions. The staff were professional throughout and the systems were easy to follow! Awesome job! Thoroughly recommend getting out (safely) for a meal here!

Website do not accept any dates entered, keep saying ' You must be 18+" when I checked on my mobile. Well I am way over 40+...Beer Glasses are small and not usual pint size. Great choice of craft beers. Food is sort of okayish and bit pricey. Good ambience is what you will enjoy here. It's the location value.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because of the surprise factor, it’s really cool! I went there on a Saturday morning and it was packed but we got a table fairly quickly. I really liked the atmosphere, the menus’ variety and of course, the beer. We ordered pizza and spicy prawns and everything was delicious. After lunch you can go for a walk along the waterfront which is lovely.

Great venue with friendly staff. There is a selection of beers that are brewed on site and all beers are available for takeaway. The table service makes the experience better and the food was cooked fresh and very tasty. In terms of transport there are ferries from Auckland City and local buses

Absolutely amazing place to chill out on Sunday afternoon. We ordered the crispy squid, smoked fish croquettes and shoe string fries to go with our ciders. And then dark chocolate cheese cake & salted caramel creme brulee for dessert. We rated 5-star based on value for money, good choice of music, great taste, clean and we love the rustic decor. A hidden gem in the heart of Hobsonville! I had visited the Little Creatures Brewery in Perth so it was nice to see their distinctive truck again 😊 We went there on a blustery winters day, but I can imagine the venue would be rocking in Summer - so much space! Loved the pumpkin & quinoa burger!!

Man the beers at this place are good, and forget about the hot chips - incredible! Popped down here as a family on good Friday the place was rammed but the service dealt with the numbers very efficiently. Great kiddies play area to keep them amused whilst you have a few pints, nice. 😆 I've had these beers a few times whilst over in Oz - very flavoursome - glad they're now over here, I can even fill my flagon. Another amazing night, this place is awesome for summer nights. Again bread is the best i have tasted. The fish and chips, all you need for a fun night out with friends. 26/11/19 A great night out, staff were amazingly brilliant. Wine came along in minutes, huge menu to choose from. You have three different places to choose from, kittyhawk is more intimate sit down restaurants, the other two are more gastro type of eateries. Table service for drinks and food or you can go up to the bar to grab a drink

The experience begins as you enter Little creatures. The atmosphere is warm, family friendly and full of people from young to old. I entered Little creatures with my family and found a table. Immediately, we had friendly staff come greet us and have conversation with us all. We were able to order soon and the wait was not long. The food was presented and looked delicious - and we confirm that it was! The portion size was good, we were filled and then we decided on desert. I must say I am a desert queen, I love deserts and they did not disappoint me! The Creme Brule that I had was just absolutely divine! Everyone enjoyed their selections and overall our experience was fantastic. The staff were really friendly, courteous, helpful and so natural - felt comfortable being there! Finally it was time to pay our bill. I was surprised at the total because it was worth it! For a party of six, having drinks, food and desert, it was absolutely worth it! I would recommend Little Creatures Brewing to everyone! Go try out the experience!

Lovely location and great atmosphere. Beers are great and lots of space for kids to play. Was a bit disappointed with the food however. I tried the brisket and the ribs. The brisket was dry and definitely needed more sauce or jus. The ribs were good but again a bit dry. There's a lot of options on the menu. I wonder if it would be better if there were fewer choices done really well. Thanks for a great afternoon.

What a cool place. Plenty of seats and a real buzz. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There's a cool guy who makes cocktails in the Kitty hawk room, need to go back and try that out. Food is so delicious so is the wine. Didn't try the beers but I understand they are very good. Can't wait to go again.

First time there and I was a little disappointed. The app to order was a good idea but when we ordered chips for the kids and a couple of little creatures beers ( i do like them ) the chips came first but not cooked too well. They were sorta rubbery. And the beers took their time . We also got a $38 platter and it was a bit underwhelming for the price ..on top of that they are doing some construction there and the view of a fence and rubbish truck collecting waste lunch time Saturday didn't help the experience.

The food ok offer is great but sometimes the “fancy and small portion” type deals. A steak with mash or roast vegetables would be very welcome :)

Great place. Always a hassle for parking because they are so popular. Good background music. Food always well presented and very tasty. Today had to wait 15 minutes for my coffee. They must have forgot because when I asked they gave me someone else's coffee and it was warm, not hot. Breakfast pizza beautiful. Visited this place a few days before Christmas for a birthday party. The staff were friendly and generally attentive. There were a couple times when we were ready to order and a waiter was nowhere to be found. However, that happened only once or twice. We found the food pretty good. By no means amazing, but it’s a step above the typical pub food you find at most breweries. The prices were a little dear, especially for any of the alcohol, but food prices were pretty much middle of the road. We had the poutine, macaroni balls and the cheese bread for starters. Later we had the Philly cheesesteak, fish and chips, all American cheese burger cauliflower “wings” and the hot wings. They also have a relatively impressive selection of vegan and vegetarian options, which is a nice change since one of our party was avoiding meat. It is a little challenging to get to the place and parking can be a chore, but overall this place was a pleasant surprise.

Staff were very nice and attentive despite us sitting in the self service. Very dog friendly. Had the poutine which was lovely. Smokey mac n cheese was a bit of a let down. We had it previously and it was great but this time the smokey bordered into burnt flavour. Dogs didn't seem to mind. I also had the philly cheese steak- the meat was excellent. Nice and tender, although the sauce was a bit too much/wet without adding much in terms of flavour. We do like this place though, last time we had buffalo wings and the ribs and they were excellent.

Awesome place. Great indoor playground to keep kids busy while enjoying a craft beer and some food. Their chilli and lime squid starter is to die for, I get that every time. Pizzas are good too. Find them quite expensive though for what you get and quantities are quite small. Nice for an occasional visit.

This is a great place to go for a family gathering (or any type of). I would give it a 5star except for the lack of parking and ambience outside. The developers are killing Hobsonville Point's vibe with unnecessary building of apartment blocks on the waterfront. Such a shame.

We came here for the first time today with family that live here. What a wonderful space! They have thought about everything, from families, big groups, small group, all ages etc. Even a little play area for the kids. The food was awesome and the staff were SO friendly. Came for lunch, and as soon as i walked through i could feel the welcoming environment. The QR code ordering was something new and fun to try. The food we ordered was delicious, but the kid's cheeseburger (only a bun, cheese, and patty) was bland and could've used some veggies. And our four sprites we ordered came as: two sprites and two sparkling waters.

Compared to past experiences this unfortunately was sub standard this time. Service was ok, very impersonal. Robotic. One female host was pleasant. The food was way below average. The fat hot fries were greasy and overcooked. The squid was soft and tasted ok but no crispiness on the outside. A shame as has always been a firm fav.

Great food and amazing beer. Unfortunately it is a very busy place and they don't take any bookings. We were lucky that we arrived early and had a table of 8. It makes an uncomfortable dining experience when other people are waiting for tables and launch for a free table when it becomes available, or tries to take a seat from the table if someone has temporarily left their seat. I feel it would be far more enjoyable, not necessarily to take bookings but to take names and numbers down when people arrive and call them to take the table when it becomes available.

We ordered 2 of the pizzas, espresso coffees, chicken wings/nibbles and fries, lets just say we were not disappointed. We were served by Trent, who we shall say, provided great service and entertainment ! It was awesome how he knew what on top of his head on every order without a pad and a pen. We all highly recommend going to Little Creatures as an experience, food and a place thats great atmosphere. Would come back again ! The guy (Trent, deserves a pay rise! Amazing service an error was made with our order but when they realised they quickly corrected it and some . We ordered poutine and wings the food was on point and presented as good as it tasted 5* 3. Stunning location and a great vibe music was great !! Unfortunately i found the staff and service very average took 25 mins fir a waiter to literally drop a bottle of water in front of us then after asking another 20 mins for a waitress to come take the order. Despite the food for adults tasting amazing the prices are personally a little high 18$ for five nibbles (not wings as described) felt a little ripped off. Food was fulling prepared and plated perfectly. They serve meals as prepared but it makes the salads nice and fresh :) Parking is a bit of a gamble but worth driving around abit for a spot. Stunning views aswell. Very highly recommend.

First time visiting the market around Hobsonville wharf. We spotted a couple of juicy burger coming out from little creatures kitchen and decided to give it a try. The beef burger patty was on spot, you could see a nice inner pink layer after your first bite. Really enjoyed the flavor balance that came from the gherkin piece on the burger. Buns were a little dry in my opinion as they were crumbling apart as I bit them, for this reason I won’t give it a 5 star. Friendly staff keen to help you in anything that may be needed.
