Pools a bit dirty, you can see all the rubbish and that in the water. It's not very nice to look at while your swimming. Sauna and steam room is pretty good but the spa isn't hot enough.for my liking.

Onehunga pools are my childhood, my son swam here as a kid and with his friends, my partner loves it, and I bring my school holiday programme years later! Summer is the best for the outdoors pools then winter indoors with sauna, steam room and spa! They have picnic tables & bbq area good for family times!! I use the pools for fitness swimming for years love them! Great aqua fit class, and the service too! There’s also a gym too. Only busy when the swimming lessons are on......... in the mornings There’s also a great big park/playground outside opposite the pools for picnics & families with lots of grass space and trees and lots of car parks! Renovations are on at the moment yay can’t wait until it’s finished will look the best in Auckland!!!

Good basic swimming pool. There is a large lane pool and a warmer toddler/family pool inside. The change rooms are very small and hard to navigate with a stroller. Definitely could do with a renovation. But the kids had a great time splashing around in the toddler pool area. Was nice and relaxed trip out.

Outdoor pool area is great for kids, they have 2 diving boards, and 2 slides. Lots of tables for picnics but based on first in first serve. Indoor pool i find it too stuffy. Toilets/showers however need to be maintained, smelt like urine when we went.

Facilities just got an upgrade on November 2020, so are much nicer now. Good outdoor pool. Indoor lap pool can get a bit crowded on weekends & holidays - plan to go early mornings or late afternoons for training. As someone mentioned below, rules around no eating/food in the pool are never enforced, so can get somewhat gross. Other than that, great value.

Great place. Good for the kids with the outdoor diving pool and outdoor pools with a small indoor pool for the little ones. And for adults, spa and sauna rooms are available as well as a gym and lane pool for the bigger kids as well as the athletes. All round solid place with a couple inconveniences here and there other than that really recommend this place to anyone looking to have a relaxing time or looking to clock in a couple more laps.

Sooo much better than a year ago. The renovation of the toilets and showers makes this pool feel so much cleaner and more enjoyable. Kids Pool is great though check the swischool times as that uses most of the space. Outdoor pool in summer is very nice! And when your done there is a park over the road for a picnic!

Staff members are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Have indoor and outdoor pools as well as gym, spa, sauna and steam rooms. The floor colour in the changing room is very dark, which can help to disguise any unclean spots though it bring down the mood. They also have 2 family changing rooms. Their toilets unfortunately only on the changing rooms side, hence if you're in the spa pool, sauna or steam rooms you'll have to walk to the opposite side of the building. And remember to either bring $2 coin or padlock for the locker.

Very nice, entry is affordable for everyone and maintenance is also well. And gaurds are always on the watch. They have two dive boards. If you get board you can jump into 3m deep pool. But be careful try the little board first then go on the big one. What else we need ?

Large outdoor pool plus couple small ones for children. There are outdoor tables and seats so cool to spend time with whole family. Indoor pool plus sauna and children pool. There is well equipped gym too.

Great however rather outdated pool, the staff are great and friendly with disabled access. There is access to many facilities like the gym, sauna, spa and even an diving pool in the summer months. The pool is not usually extremely busy and also good for kids

I love this pool, over the years we have had birthdays here where we have set up tables inside. On beautiful days and not so nice days the Onehunga Pool is a joy to visit. The indoor pool and the kids pool right beside each other make it a tried and true great family pool. Theres is a gym attached to the facility too and outside pools, slides and even a great dive pool which brings a great mix of locals and people from further afield to the Jellicoe Park Pool deep in the heart of Onehunga. The staff and the adult spa and facilities make it fun for spectators who have a special price for entry. This park where the pool is; in summer has an annual day where a latino band rock out with the locals. who come to the free event.(see Music in Parks/Akld City Council program) Jelllicoe Park is a great park with a playground and when the band plays it transforms to a great fun concert venue fit for family and individual fun at a small cost. Dressmart the mall for classic shoppers who want a bargain is nearby which makes the pool facility even more of a drawcard. Stop to pick up supplies before heading to the Pool for a fun day whatever the weather. Thanks Onehunga Jellicoe Park Pool Arohanui ; nga mihi.

My daughter with Autism attends the Swim School, the one on one class has been extremely beneficial, these lessons have enabled her to enjoy swimming. Highly recommend it all.

We liked the selection of outdoor pools. One was a 25 m lap pool with about 4-5 lanes and a slide suitable for older kids/adults. One pool is a diving pool with high and low platforms. 2 others were for the younger kids with a slide. Great during hot summer days. We also appreciated the playground outside - a good variety of equipment + public toilets for convenience. Nb. There is currently building work to upgrade facilities, hence, very noisy when inside.

First Time here last week and loved it was blown away how children are free,was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for entry but was happy to see my kids were free, was absolutely pleased with how clean the facilities were and was a decent sized pools my kids had a blast and will be back again in future considering we are from Hamilton and our pools should be offering the free entry for kids as well instead of charging an entry fee for them thanks 😄😄

Great pool and gym. Had first session at the gym with Noah, who made me feel really welcome and showed me how to use the equipment and work out a program. The gym is really clean with good quality equipment, but I am s little sore after my first session, showing Noah wasn't going to let me off lightly. Looking forward to going back now. I also use the pool where the lifeguards are also really great, especially Kathleen 😁

Great specious place with the facility of fully equipped gym with extra classes to offer to the member at free of cost with appointment or at the additional cost. Clean indoor pool, spa, sauna, steam bath facility with seprate changing rooms. Outdoor pool is also available in summer season and great space for BBQ. They also provide swimming classes at the affordable price with the good, friendly staff who provides the great customer service.
